In a new VGC video, which can be viewed in the embed above or on the VGC YouTube channel, Jordan answers reader questions about the game’s monetisation system, the potential single-player offering, and whether the game has any ranked or competitive modes. In our Concord preview, we praised the game’s gunplay, and unique delivery method for story in a live service game. Read More... View the full article

  3. The numbers are in, and Shadow of the Erdtree is just as much of a massive success as the original Elden Ring. The game’s official X page shared that the DLC expansion has already accumulated 5 million downloads in less than one week of release. What makes this number so significant is that it’s one-fifth of the total number of sales for the original Elden Ring, which was at 25 million units sold a week before the DLC was released. It was already one of the best-selling games of all time, and these massive numbers for Shadow of the Erdtree have fully reinforced its significance. View the full article

  5. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree managed to sell over five million copies within three days of its global release. It didn't take long for FromSoftware's beloved open-world action RPG to exceed sales expectations when the base game was initially released back in 2022, with publisher Bandai Namco reporting that Elden Ring reached over 13 million units sold in the first month after its debut. Now, the highly anticipated Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC expansion is set to repeat history and possibly propel the critically acclaimed title to even greater heights. View the full article

The first set, Sakura Superstar, was released through the Spring Summerdrop. Prices for the Hatsune Miku Sakura Superstar set were high at first but had settled heading into summer. Both foil and non-foil versions of Digital Sensation sold out shortly after becoming available like the first set and are following the same preorder price trend spikes for singles on the secondary market. 8. It would seem that Geo is finally getting some much-deserved love in Genshin Impact, as Version 5.1 is expected to add a 5-Star Geo Support character who will play a major role in the meta. While Geo initially held some promise, it's always been considered lackluster compared to the other elements in Genshin Impact. Designed to be inert, Geo has the fewest Elemental Reactions, and derives its power from pure strength alone. Apart from unique characters such as Zhongli and Navia, this characteristic tends to lock viable teams into a Mono Geo composition. View the full article
  9. Analysts were optimistic about a recovery in 2024. According to Canalys, they were right: the expected 69 million PC shipments this year represents a 5% annual growth rate, while the predicted 76 million shipped units in 2025 is an 8% YoY improvement. Read Entire Article View the full article
  10. ****** Dumpling is one of the many Helms in Elden Ring, and while I don’t recommend eating it, the piece of armor has a unique use in FromSoftware’s open-world title. In Elden Ring, you can focus on bleed builds, strength builds, magic builds, and a variety of other best builds to make even the hardest bosses cry. One of the most unique approaches players take is encouraging the madness effect to consume them. View the full article
  11. The new Spirit Ash Summons added with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC are fantastic, but none compare to Jolan and Anna. This excellent dual summon can help you overcome even the toughest of challenges, so here is where and how to get the Jolan and Anna Spirit Ash. Jolan and Anna location in Shadow of the Erdtree Manus Metyr, the Shaman Village, and Rabath’s Rise are key locations for this summon. Screenshot by Dot Esports There are two locations that you will have to visit to find the Jolan and Anna Spirit Ash. The first is the Cathedral of Manus Metyr, and the second is Rabbath’s Rise. These two places hold the two necessary parts that you need to obtain the dual summon. You will also need to complete one quest at Manus Metyr, which involves both Jolan and Anna, as well as the ominous Count Ymir. View the full article

  13. In light of some chat about fresly datamined Termind models finding their way into the game's Discord server, a community manager for Helldivers 2 has emphasised to players why it doesn't acknowledge or take questions on leaks like this via official channels. In recent months, a fair few models and images seemingly lurking in the game's backend have hit Reddit, with some being related to a long-rumoured faction addition, The Illuminate. The latest to emerge are some Terminid models, with one being a Bile Charger that the leaker behind it suggested will explode into a bunch of acid on ****** and the other being The Impaler from the first Helldivers. Some player chatter about these discoveries looks to have seeped from Reddit into Helldivers 2's official Discord server, leading one of Arrowhead's community managers to respond to folks asking about it by outlining the studio's current stance when it comes to leaks. 14. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree doesn't hold back when it comes to difficulty, and that's even led to it receiving mixed reviews from the Tarnished struggling to ****** enemies. Although a few of the required bosses also take spots on the list of the most difficult bosses, they aren't the only enemies that might challenge the Tarnished. Even when every boss in the Realm of Shadow can be a tough ******, certain ones are particularly brutal. View the full article
  15. No, you haven't dreamed it. A Gollum-centric Lord of the Rings spinoff movie is coming in 2026, and actor-director Andy Serkis is already teasing some of what's on the horizon for the project. Via Popverse, we've learned about Serkis' cheeky little teases of what we can expect from the surprising new movie, including a possible title change (thank the Lord) and a fair amount of returning characters. The filmmaker isn't spilling the beans on any of the big names that could be returning — both Ian McKellen (Gandalf) and Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn) have already expressed interest in doing so — yet he admits they've already been trying to figure out who's coming back as part of the new tale. "It is so early; it would be unfair to commit to anything at this point," Serkis said, "But I will say that it will be a deep ***** where we investigate Gollum’s character. There may be characters that we recognize that might be coming back. I’m not going to say who." Read more View the full article
  16. Determining the best Star Wars games of all time is a tough choice. From classics like Knights of the Old Republic, Tie Fighter, and Battlefront 2 to the modern day and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, we're spoilt for choice. Picking your favorite Star Wars game is a little easier, though, and while I had a great time with MMORPG The Old Republic I have an extreme fondness for Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, the 2002 PlayStation 2 and GameCube game. I'm cautiously excited, then, by news of its return as a remastered version coming to Steam. Read the rest of the story... View the full article
  17. When you think of the best roguelikes on PC, you might consider action games like ***** Cells, Hades, or Risk of Rain. Or perhaps you lean towards the deckbuilders of the world such as Balatro and Slay the Spire. But all of these could arguably be considered 'roguelites' instead. The distinction between the definitions was once a hot topic, but over time it's become less frequently discussed. Nevertheless, Lost In Prayer wants to prove to a wider audience that the traditional roguelike format still offers something unique and special. PCGamesN sits down with Nine Dots CEO Guillaume Boucher-Vidal to talk about what makes the genre tick. Read the rest of the story... 19. With Shadow of the Erdtree upon us, you will need to master Elden Ring once again. Having every advantage you can get before entering the Land of Shadows is ideal, and one such item will save you in a pinch: Boiled Crab. This is how you can acquire the item. Where to get Boiled Crab in Elden Ring The man with the seafood. Image via FromSoftware Boiled Crab is a consumable item in Elden Ring. As is with most consumable items of high quality, acquiring these, especially en masse, can be quite difficult. However, there is one NPC that dwells in the base game who is very generous with his supply: Blackguard Big Boggart. You can find him in Boilprawn Shack in the middle of the Liurnia of the Lakes region. View the full article For verified travel tips and real support, visit: [Hidden Content]

  21. Albatroz is a "backpacking adventure RPG" that takes place in The Forbidden Lands, a photogenic wilderness "where two worlds converge". You are jaded city worker Isla, and you are here to search for your missing brother, who was himself searching for the mystical mountain of Albatroz - locally known as "the walking mountain", for reasons that you will never guess. There's no combat, and no enemies that I can see - instead, you'll occupy yourself with equipment management, repairing your dinky yellow car, and improving your hiking skills using points earned by doing favours for villagers along the way. 22. A frustrating bug in Elden Ring is causing some players to have a difficult time conquering the game's new Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
