Kite Man: ***** Yeah! is a very real spin-off of Harley Quinn, and Warner Bros has finally locked in a release date for Max. I would forgive you if you'd missed the fact that the animated Harley Quinn series was getting a spin-off, because I had too. You'd think that maybe it would be about someone we all know and love, like Poison Ivy, The Joke, or *****, maybe even Batman (who'd want an animated series about that guy), but no, instead someone elected to give us… Kite Man? I'll be honest, I didn't know that this was a character that even existed, let alone was in the Harley Quinn series - I know Batman has his fair share of quirky villains like Condiment King, Calendar Man, Polka-Dot Man, but Kite Man? Seriously? Well, a new trailer arrived for the series yesterday, the first full trailer since a teaser was released a few months ago, and it brought a Max premiere date with it: July 18, just over a couple of weeks away. The series, unsurprisingly, follows Harley Quinn's comedic tone, once again taking a more parodical approach to its characters. Ever since rejoining the Counter-Strike scene last September, TSM has been struggling to put up a formidable team. On July 1, they completed another roster, this time consisting of only Danish players. Three new CS2 players were signed and announced by TSM on Monday: acoR, who was transferred from GamerLegion, and a duo of Altekz and niko, who were previously without an organization to play for. In addition to providing the promised details about the recently announced ***** Rising Deluxe Remaster, last night's Capcom Next showcase also provided a bit more Resident Evil news than you might have expected. A fresh entry in the series has been oficially confirmed to be in development, with Resident Evil 7: Biohazard's director at the helm. Yep, between this and the original PC port of the first Resi having become easily accessible on PC for the first time in ages recently, fans of the the series about bad things trying to ***** you and, er, large vampire women that you sort of want to be ******* by have been eating good. The first trailer for the latest take on Hellboy, this time subtitled The Crooked Man, is here, and it looks… ok! Hellboy is generally quite a recognisable figure, in one part because of his iconic design (sawn off horns? Giant fist? Classic!), but also because of Guillermo del Toro's take on the character with his pair of films. So of course there would be more attempts to capitalise on the comic book series' rich history, with 2019 seeing the arrival of the David Harbour led Hellboy that ultimately bombed at the box office. Now, five years on, there's another take in the form of Hellboy: The Crooked Man on the way, with the first trailer arriving yesterday. This third take on the character actually has a script co-written by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, with the film's director Brian Taylor also helping to pen the script alongside author Christopher Golden. You can check out the first trailer for the film above, which to be perfectly honest looks a tad cheap. If you told me this was a fan film I'd probably believe you, as while the makeup on this Hellboy (played by Jack Kesy) looks pretty good, if you go back and look at del Toro's Hellboy, you just can't help but think the original looks better. One thing I do appreciate about the look of The Crooked Man is that it appears to be going for more of a horror vibe compared to the previous three films, which definitely fits the character's whole vibe.
