  1. A recent ***** has given Genshin Impact players a glimpse into what Alice, the mysterious mother of Klee, could look like once she finally makes her in-game appearance. The Hexenzirkel has long been an overarching story thread in Genshin Impact, as the Traveler has had a fair share of encounters with the members of the coven. Most recently, ***** Megistus helped players establish a connection with Nicole Reeyn, who imparted wisdom to the Traveler during the prophecy crisis in Fontaine, and was also the mysterious voice heard during Inversion of Genesis. 4. One of Fallout's most iconic characters is sorely missed in the recent TV adaptation. Like any adaptation of such a dense and complicated piece of source material, Amazon Prime's Fallout series shares a lot in common with the games. Characters in the series frequently make use of perks and abilities from the Fallout games, and the series addresses the final fate of New Vegas while staying canon-neutral. There's even some evidence to suggest that one character could return in the second season as one of the Fallout series' signature monsters, who have been missing from the show to date. 5. A recent ***** from Genshin Impact is hinting at a major change coming to HoYoverse's design philosophy following the release of Natlan later this year. With only a few months remaining until the expected launch of the HoYoverse RPG's sixth playable region, fans are already being teased about what's to come with the Pyro region. Early leaks and in-game teasers have hinted at the overarching themes of Natlan, with the region's story said to revolve around an ongoing war and referring to Natlan to as a land of dragons. Now, Genshin Impact is changing its design approach with the new region. View the full article
  6. With the release of a new Hades game, Hades 2 is introducing players to new mechanics, interactions, and resources, including one such resource, Silver. This new resource means that players will need to keep a keen eye out on their runs and make sure to collect as much as they can. Silver is difficult, but not impossible, to find, so making the most of each run by grabbing what you can will save you a lot of time when you find yourself in need. View the full article
  7. The reputable ***** insider, Midori, has hinted at the existence of a couple of promising projects that could be in the works at Persona and Shin Megami Tensei developer Atlus. If these teases come to fruition, then it could signify that the company's release schedule for the next few years is even more stacked than it already is, which is likely to excite many Atlus fans. 8. The Wild West is such a fantastic setting, yet it sometimes feels a little underutilized in gaming. Classics such as ****, the original Red ***** Revolver, and the excellent Call of Juarez paved the way for Rockstar's masterful Red ***** Redemption 2. Yet new boomer shooter Chambers, from the developer of the surreal Golden Light, blends that western charm with fast-paced classic FPS games like ***** and Quake, and you can try an early taste thanks to a prequel available to play now as a free Steam game. 9. Marvel Rivals developer NetEase has apologized for a contract it sent to content creators looking to play the hero shooter's alpha playtest. The contract contained a non-disparagement agreement that forbade streamers and creators from being critical of the game and "providing subjective negative reviews," with NetEase telling PCGamesN that it is now working with creators to revise the terms of the agreement. 13. A new Honkai: Star Rail ***** has revealed two Light Cones that will be added to event warps in version 2.4. 14. Dozens of League items and monsters have been removed, implemented, or had their names changed since its release in 2009, and one of the most surefire ways to separate new players from seasoned ones is by seeing what kind of terminology they use to refer to some of them. In a thread posted to the official League subreddit earlier today, players debated which pieces of once-iconic League lingo would be completely mystifying to newer players who aren’t tapped in with the game’s history. 15. Gray Zone Warfare is an MMO tactical shooter where you are dropped into the open world of Lamang Island to survive following every trick you can. From exploring the Island's large map to taking on different missions, you might struggle to figure out how to approach the variety of tasks in the game at first. Even though some content isn't available in early access, there's still plenty to learn. View the full article
  16. After nearly 300 hours in-game, one Starfield player has found a point of interest (POI) they've never seen before. Starfield's massive scale was something that fans were looking forward to, but also equally nervous about. Many were worried that the scale would make the game feel empty, while others felt as though Bethesda should have focused more on the story and NPCs instead of the clearly flawed open-world itself. There is so much to do that discovering every POI would be nearly impossible, but the chance of discovering this POI is even rarer than others. View the full article
  17. For every 'TurboChadd's UltraPleasure 7.0,' there's a Skyrim mod actually worth downloading. The most popular creations are still texture overhauls and UI improvements all these years later, with players responding well to minor, unobtrusive, and quality-driven changes. That's why it's my mission to separate the wheat from the chaff; the useful from the inane. To that end, I've found yet another small but impactful Skyrim creation, and this one's inspired by the work of CD Projekt Red on The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. Read the rest of the story... 19. In Fallout 4, equipping the right weapons and armor is essential for survival against the threats of the nuclear Wasteland. While the RPG offers a plethora of firearms and melee options, managing your inventory effectively is crucial, as it's easy to accumulate weapons that don't match your playstyle, are short on ammo, or lack the power needed against formidable foes. 20. Time for some Abe’s Oddysee! | Screenshot: Gamma iPhone users without a penchant for jailbreaking can finally enjoy the blocky polygons and shifty textures of the original PlayStation with Gamma, a free PS1 emulator that hit the iOS App Store last night. Gamma comes courtesy of developer ZodTTD, which has been creating emulators for the iPhone since the earliest days of third-party iOS apps. The app has both iPhone and iPad versions with support for Bluetooth controllers and keyboards, as well as customizable on-screen controller skins. It uses Google Drive and Dropbox syncing for backing up your game files and save states (those are the snapshots you can save at any time and reload, a little like pausing your game — great for old-school games that don’t let you save any time you... 21. Microsoft is coming for that mobile money, as it confirms it plans to open its own mobile gaming store later this year. You might assume that the major reason behind Microsoft buying Activision Blizzard would be because of titles like Call of Duty, Overwatch, and World of Warcraft, particularly that first one. Well, you'd probably be somewhat right there, but it's obvious that Microsoft had another aspect in mind: the mobile market. For one, Call of Duty itself is already successful on mobile, but Microsoft also now owns Candy Crush developer King, a mobile title that still rakes in money all these years later. And now, speaking at the recent Bloomberg Technology Summit (paywalled, thanks GameSpot), Xbox president Sarah bond announced that the company plans to launch a mobile gaming store this coming July. The store will apparently first launch on the web, rather than an app, so that it can be accessed across a broad range of devices, though an app is likely to follow suit. This isn't the first mention of plans for a mobile gaming store, as Microsoft had mentioned its intention to do so last year following the ********* Union's Digital Markets Act, which made it easier for companies to open their own digital stores. Bond noted that initially the store will feature games from Microsoft-owned studios, like Candy Crush Saga. Read more View the full article
  22. As Genshin Impact approaches the final two patches of Fontaine, more details about Natlan and the Summer Event for 2024 have started to emerge. With Version 4.6 introducing the ruins of Remuria and the Sea of Bygone Eras, Genshin Impact won't be seeing a new map expansion until the launch of Natlan in August 2024. That being said, Version 4.7 will introduce three new playable characters, and Version 4.8 will have a temporary zone themed around its Flagship Event. View the full article
  23. While Cyberpunk 2077 may be seen as the best iteration of a dystopian future slowly crumbling under the weight of technological development, one fan's creation should remind players that another game used to hold that title. Decades before CD Projekt Red released the 2020 open-world RPG, developer Ion Storm introduced the world to Deus Ex, a franchise that shares much of its DNA with Cyberpunk. While the series has been on an indefinite hiatus, one of the games' more iconic characters has managed to jump across universes and arrive in Night City. View the full article
  24. Solo Leveling: ARISE is a mobile-first but PC-friendly action-RPG game developed and published by Netmarble. It's based on the immensely popular manwha-turned-anime Solo Leveling, which follows the journey of humanity's weakest hunter, Sung Jinwoo, as he embarks on a quest that sees both his world and the actual planet turned upside down by what is uncovered along the way. It's an incredible story, and one that features a number of emotional beats that might not be expected given its title and genre - but at its best, it's a frenetic action property with memorable ****** scenes and power-scaling moments. 25. Ignoring that whole PSN thing recently, Helldivers 2 is probably everyone's favourite live-service game right now - but it wasn't originally meant to be. Yeah, alright, sure, some players were unhappy about needing to connect a PSN account to their PC copy of Helldivers 2, but for the most part everyone is still loving it. No one expected it to take off as much as it did, but you'll likely be hard pressed to find a more loved live-service game this year, even with all of the ups and downs it's had. But when the game started development, much like the first game, it wasn't going to be a live-service title. Speaking to Inverse, former lead writer on the game Russ Nickel explained that Helldivers 2 being an evolving experience felt "like what live service was born to do. For a while, Arrowhead [Game Studios] didn't know if the sequel was going to be a live-service title. But as we talked about it more, it was clear that this would make for such a cool live service experience, one where the story can change constantly so it really does feel alive."
