  1. The ****** Ops 6 takeover has arrived in Warzone, meaning new weapons and new operators. But there’s also a massive overhaul to how Perks work. Gone are the old perks, replaced with new ones from BO6. And the way they are equipped is changing, too, with a set number you can choose from and a Wildcard to go with it. No loadout will be complete without some good Perks to accompany it. View the full article
  2. The Maximum Football series has been around for about five years, with the prior version featuring Doug Flutie as its title star. Now Maximum Entertainment has returned with an all-new entry -- and a launch for the series in early access form alongside it being free-to-play. In June, the game had a beta and it received mixed reviews, with players wanting more polish to the gameplay and overall presentation. View the full article

  4. The recent Dragon Age: The Veilguard update adds two new outfits for Rook inspired by N7 from Mass Effect. While the next Mass Effect game is quite a few years away, BioWare has consistently provided fans with an update each November 7, or N7 Day. Following the lackluster response to Andromeda and Anthem, BioWare placed the Mass Effect franchise on hold, choosing instead to focus on the next installment of Dragon Age. Despite several delays and production woes, Dragon Age: The Veilguard launched to critical and popular acclaim, albeit not without its shortcomings. View the full article
  5. I first played Taiko no Tatsujin in an arcade (in Japan, because I am very cool), where it's controlled by hitting a recreation of an actual taiko drum. It was fun enough that I wish there was a taiko drum peripheral available for PC now the series is on our platform. Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is out now via Steam, where it offers over 70 songs to drum through, and a subscription service through which to unlock over 700 more. Maybe I should try to get my Donkey Konga drums working on PC, but I'll probably settle for playing it with a gamepad. Read more View the full article

  7. The next evolution of Warzone is here as part of ****** Ops 6’s season one update on Nov. 14. With each new CoD game, Warzone receives some massive overhauls, and this year is no different. But that’s just the beginning of what’s in store for Warzone as part of the year of BO6. View the full article

  9. There are seven companions in Dragon Age: The Veilguard and each of them offers your party different strengths and weaknesses, particularly in battle. Unlike the companions in Baldur's Gate 3, none of the companions have health, all have simplified gear, and are almost completely autonomous in battle, but your party composition will still matter. You only get two companions at a time, so picking which two you bring with you can be tricky. View the full article

  11. Sometimes the art-making process is a sacred thing. Other times it's ***** trumpets and ***** jokes. Nobody knew this better than pre-modern artists: Members of a movement that found its roots in the classical and medieval *******, Renaissance artists are best known for the stunning paintings of 14th to 16th century Italy, like "The Birth of Venus." Then there's Hieronymous Bosch, the 15th century Dutch painter whose most famous work is a triptych of Eden, Earth, and ***** called "The Garden of Earthly Delights." His overwhelmingly detailed panoramas tell a hundred stories in one. While their overall subject matter is serious, those little stories create a collage of Earthly life that's both comedic and surreal... Read more.View the full article
  12. ***** has put dozens of its Master System, Genesis, Saturn, and other console titles onto modern game stores over the years. But, like that Dreamcast controller stashed in your childhood garage, they're about to disappear—and getting them back will cost you a nostalgia tax. Those who have purchased any of the more than 60 games listed by ***** from Steam, Xbox, Nintendo's Switch store, and the PlayStation store will still have them after 11:59 pm Pacific time on Dec. 26. But after that, for reasons that ***** does not make explicit, they will be "delisted and unavailable." Titles specific to the Nintendo Switch Online "Expansion Pack" subscription will remain. As PC Gamer has suggested, and which makes the most sense, this looks like ***** is getting ready to offer up new "classics" collections on these storefronts. ***** previously rearranged its store shelves to pull Sonic games from online stores and then offer up Sonic Origins. The title underwhelmed Ars at the time and managed to pack in some DLC pitches. Read full article Comments View the full article

  17. The Sims 4's latest expansion, Life & ******, has blown both critics and fans out of the water thanks to its wealth of new content, features, and gameplay mechanics that feel as inspired as they are fun to play around with. Considering how rare it is for The Sims 4 to get something that's as weird as it is wonderful, it's great to see the folks over at Maxis create something so enjoyable. It's certainly proving to be a winner for fans of the more bizarre side of The Sims, although it's not pleasing everyone. View the full article

  19. With Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6 Season 1 now only one week away, Treyarch has taken the time to reveal a roadmap featuring the weapons, maps, and modes players can look forward to. The team behind this year’s first-person shooter hit detailed their plans in a lengthy post on the Call of Duty website. There are a few highlights that we know about – the Warzone revamp and a fresh batch of new maps for Multiplayer and Zombies are the real draws – but there are plenty of other surprises hidden in today’s update that should get players excited. This includes a handful of new Operators, such as one based on the franchise’s long-running The Replacer character, and information about the launch of Ranked Play later this month. Treyarch says ****** Ops 6 Ranked is an experience it has been working toward since 2021’s Call of Duty: Vanguard. Expect to see it launch November 21 with what the team is calling “several streamlined features, innovations, and updates,” including changes to the ranking system to focus more on skill, a forfeit feature, and map/mode voting. Warzone is another attractive feature coming with Season 1 and includes the previously revealed Area 99 Resurgence map. Every subsection of the map essentially works as its own smaller map to ****** through, with the entire setting themed after an abandoned government testing site from the ‘50s that bears a striking resemblance to the fan-favorite Multiplayer map, Nuketown. ****** Ops 6 Warzone Season 1 will also see the return of the Urzikstan and Rebirth Island maps as well as the Plunder game mode. The standard Multiplayer game mode, meanwhile, is getting three new maps at launch: Hideout, Heirloom, and Extraction. Modes like Ransack and Prop Hunt are also coming with Season 1, as are new weapons like the Krig C ******** rifle, Sirin 9mm special *******, AMR Mod 4 *******, and even a power drill melee tool. Zombies fans can also look forward to three new GobbleGums and a new map called Citadelle des Morts that looks like a dusty medieval castle. Much of what is shown today will arrive when ****** Ops 6 Season 1 drops November 14, but players will have to wait for the mid-season update to see everything the introductory season has to offer. This includes things like Warzone Ranked as well as new Multiplayer maps Hacienda and Racket. Nuketown will also get a holiday makeover around this time. While Zombies additions like the story-driven Directed mode will come with launch, that creepy castle is another Season 1 goodie that won’t arrive until the mid-season update. Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6 Season 1 will continue Treyarch’s strong start following launch late last month. One recent update arrived earlier this week, bringing a crate full of ******* balancing changes, perk nerfs, and a tweak for the flashbang that makes it a bit less annoying. Variety has reported that F9: The Fast Saga writer Daniel Casey has signed on to write the show with BioWare producer Mike Gamble serving as executive produce along with Ari Arad. 24. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, introduced a wide variety of new items, enemies, and areas for fans to explore. All of these provide fascinating new clues about the game's mysterious lore and mythology, and establish connections between the Land of Shadow (or Shadow Realm) and the Lands Between. One such connection is between the new Bloodfiend enemies and Mohg, Lord of Blood. By no coincidence, the only way to enter the Land of Shadow and access the DLC content is by defeating Mohg in Mohgwyn Palace and interacting with Miquella's corpse inside the cocoon at the back the chamber. 25. While ***** by Daylight has recently been ******** it with a roster of expanded characters taken from existing properties, like Vecna from Dungeons and Dragons and Dracula and pals from Castlevania, its original creations have always been the game's highlights. It's where developer Behaviour Interactive has tended to let its hair down, going wild with creativity such as with the corrupted android The Singularity or twisted proto-eldritch-**** The Dredge.
