  3. Smite is one of the all time great tactical multiplayer games, but its successor hasn't gotten off to the smoothest of starts. Sure, Smite 2 is currently in an early access alpha state, but with mixed Steam reviews and Valve's own new MOBA project Deadlock stealing a lot of attention in the genre right now, things could be going better. However, Titan Forge is hard at work trying to turn things around, and what better way to generate some excitement than to reveal the next 19 gods that will be added to the game over the course of the next three months or so. 6. As gaming trends and tastes ebb and flow, one genre that's had a particularly strong 2024 is survival games. The long-running stalwarts still boast impressive player counts, while a flood of excellent newcomers like V Rising and Palworld have also established themselves. There are countless new survival games currently in the works, too, and I've just come across one that is being made by a team of devs spearheaded by a prolific group of former Oblivion and Skyrim modders. It's called Ardem, and you can actually playtest it right now. Read the rest of the story... View the full article

  9. Since her first appearance in Dragon Age: The Veilguard's predecessor, Inquisition, Lace Harding has been a sought after character to romance. As this dwarf rogue caught the attention of fans long ago, many have yearned for much more than just the flirtatious dialogue that Dragon Age: Inquisition allowed them to exchange. 10. One of the more unusual things about Brighter Shores, the newly-launched MMO from RuneScape creator Andrew Gower and his brother Paul, is its profession system. As we explained in our recent ***** into the game, professions are region-specific, so when you move from one episode to the next, your professions, including combat skills, are left behind. Not everyone loves the system, but in an update posted today on Steam, developer Fen Research asked that everyone "please give it a chance.".. Read more.View the full article

  13. Warframe is a game with a long history, but 2024 is possibly the best time to revisit or try it for the first time. Warframe first launched in 2013 and has steadily grown over the last decade.
