  3. Vocations are Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake classes that you can choose for potential party members, but anyone you hire also has a unique personality. A character's disposition determines how easy or difficult it is to grow a particular stat as they level up. Some classes are made stronger with the growth of specific stats, so you want synergy between someone's personality and their chosen Vocation. View the full article
  4. It’s hard to even comprehend how much PC gaming has changed in the past 20 years. But it was the classic FPS Half-Life 2 that convinced people to install this weird military-green launcher app named Steam and take the plunge on digital distribution. Not only was it a fantastic game, it built on Valve’s established track record of mod support, providing creators with the tools to create their own levels, campaigns and total conversions, even if the studio's own plans could be a bit of an inscrutable ****** box... 6. 2005 was a year bursting at the seams with great games - Resident Evil 4, the first **** of War, Psychonauts, GTA Liberty City Stories, and so many more iconic titles all arrived. On the other end of the spectrum, though, were some less-memorable games that got a frosty reception. One such game was Utopia City, a futuristic FPS that was panned by critics at the time. Bizarrely, it just appeared on Steam, almost two decades on from its original release date. Read the rest of the story... View the full article
  7. The Sims 4: Life & ****** reintroduces the Specter family into the town of Ravenwood. Their matriarch, Olive Specter, was one of the most iconic residents and starting characters in The Sims 2. Rumors swirled that she was a mass *********, obsessed stalker, or crazed recluse. It was up to players to either find out the truth or help the Specters bury those secrets along with any enemies. The Sims 3 further touched on the life of a younger Olive, raising her son, Nervous Subject, alone but not out of the sights of the Grim Reaper. View the full article

  10. When I was a little thing, I spent most summers at my grandmother's old, overgrown farm in the middle of nowhere Mississippi. Without fail, at some point in each visit, I'd find myself in her kitchen as she equipped me with a small, dinky spoon and shoddy bucket. My task? Dig up a field of red potatoes with that spoon—yes, a spoon—and drag the bucket back and forth to her house to drop off my potato haul... Read more.View the full article
  11. The charming, quick-witted Flynn Rider has been cursed by Maleficent and needs your help in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Freeing him is not only essential for helping restore The Storybook Vale but also means you get to recruit Flynn as a villager. Many villagers are fairly easy to find and recruit, but Flynn is a rather tricky guy to find. If you want to unlock him, you have to complete quite a few tasks first, so here’s how to unlock Flynn in Disney Dreamlight Valley. View the full article
  12. Following their 2024 Worlds win, T1 will be expanding its coaching staff with none other than Mata, a legendary LCK player who won the 2014 Worlds with Samsung White. Mata also played for T1 for a little over a year between 2018 and 2019, and might prove a great addition. Mata’s inclusion was announced by T1 on X on Nov. 21. “Mata has joined T1’s LCK team as a coach,” the post reads. “Show your support as he returns as a coach, and we look forward to building up the future together with him” (translated from Korean by X). Mata’s addition as a coach might be related to the departure of ******, another of T1’s coaches, due to mandatory military service. The 2014 World Champion has been a coach for a while, helping Gen.G score an LCK 2024 Spring victory (ironically against T1 itself), and working with Royal Never Give Up in the LPL. Now, he’s back at one of his former homes, hopefully ready for a Worlds three-peat. View the full article
  13. Creative director Johan Pilestedt has confirmed that Helldivers 2 may add a highly requested feature that would allow players to customize the ****** of their armor. Customization has been a constant talking point among fans of the popular shooter. Helldivers 2 has also fallen under occasional scrutiny for failing to meet the cosmetic demands of its voracious fanbase. View the full article

  15. Following a troubled launch for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which has seen the game suffering from a wide variety of bugs and performance issues, developers are promising a fix for one important feature. As the long-awaited sequel to the original STALKER games, the latest of which was released in 2009, STALKER 2 has suffered from prolonged and troubled development. This development cycle is likely the greatest contributor to the long list of issues that the game is currently suffering, not the least of which is the broken state of its A-Life 2.0 feature, which manages NPC spawns and interactions. 16. Various games in the Shiren The Wanderer (and Mystery Dungeon) series have been recommended to me over and over, but I've yet to play any of them. I likely won't play the next, either. 19. *********'s Creed Shadows is making changes to how it handles stealth, versus other games in the long-running series. Gone is the companion eagle who can spot enemies for you, for a start; instead, players can hide in the - hey - shadows, lie on their tummies for the first time, and make use of a "shinobi and ********* arsenal" of smoke ****** and bells. There are old moves that are coming back after an absence, too: Shadows will allow for 'double assassinations' again. Read more View the full article

  23. Star Wars Outlaws' stealth has been much debated, though not hotly. Some people think it's rubbish, some others think it's basically fine. Ubisoft themselves seem to think it's one of the key issues with the game, with the creative director previously saying the forced stealth sections are "incredibly punishing". Now there's a new patch, apparently Outlaws' biggest yet, and stealth and combat are firmly in the crosshairs. The AI and player detection has changed; you can now choose combat in areas where it was previously not allowed; and enemies have had weak points added, for those who wish to cause massive damage. Players across social media are reporting instances of multiplayer classes being reset, Zombies progress being reset, and Zombies save files completely disappearing. View the full article
