  1. Ubisoft finally answered the wishes of longtime Assassin’s Creed fans by setting the latest game in the series in feudal Japan. And hurrah! The fans are totally delighted with the results, and not complaining at all. Assassin’s Creed Shadows features two central playable characters. Yasuke was a real-life historical figure, a rare African face in the staff of Japanese daimyo Oda Nobunaga. He is portrayed here as a samurai, which he may or may not have been in real life (although historians agree he almost certainly was), and is the tank character of the game, barrelling through bamboo walls and slicing enemies in two or bashing their faces to a pulp with a very weighty club. 7. Like all previous entries in the series before it, on top of saving the world, Dragon Age: The Veilguard allows time for a little romance, with all seven companions available for Rook. However, just like all previous entries in the series, that is not enough for some as plenty of other characters have also caught the fanbase's eye. And while some of these are somewhat obvious choices, there are others that are a little more... niche. View the full article
  8. With so many things to do in Infinity Nikki, figuring out how to upgrade your camera can be a bit tricky. 10. Infinity Nikki is the most recent game in the Nikki series, but it's also the latest gacha game to take the gaming community by storm. With adorable outfits, a deceptively dark story, and plenty of content to explore, it's easy to get sucked into this adventure set in the fictional world of Miraland. It turns out that being a stylist and collecting various fashions is a super fun game mechanic, and beating other stylists in Stylist Challenges is rather satisfying. View the full article

  14. Baldur's Gate 3 has a heavy focus on the Githyanki race, a ferocious line of warriors from the Astral Plane with a long-standing feud with Mind Flayers. They have some of the most unique content in the game, and players will often find themselves rewarded for choosing to play as one. The githyanki can also be quite overpowered, despite BG3 straying away from the traditional Dungeons & Dragons way of character building, and stat bonuses aren't restricted to races in character creation.
