All the details about Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 and the destination of Amphoreus have been officially revealed by developer HoYoverse ahead of the update’s release later in January. Version 3.0 will kick off the turn-based RPG’s third year of content following the Astral Express’ adventures in Penacony. There are a lot of things for players to do in Infinity Nikki, including trying to collect the thousands of little purple floating globules containing dews of inspiration. Collecting these dews and purifying them with Nikki's purify ability, can go towards getting beautiful new outfits from Kilo the Cadenceborn, so even if players aren't looking to 100% the game, many are still on the constant lookout for these hidden items. Hitbox issues are commonplace in hero shooters, and Marvel Rivals is no exception to this rule despite how well it has been performing since its launch. Plenty of players have reported issues with the overly generous hitboxes. While these help most actually land some shots, it does come across as frustrating when a Hawkeye kills players without aiming near them. Overwatch and its sequel continue to have hitbox issues, and hero shooters aren't the only ones who suffer from exaggerated hitboxes. Even PvE titles aren't immune to exaggerated hitboxes. Dragon Ball skins have returned to Fortnite but can only be obtained through the Webshop, as Epic Games forgot to add their section to the Item Shop page. During the first couple of chapters, the Fortnite Item Shop was relatively small. It featured a couple of skins, pickaxe, emotes, and gliders. Over time, the number of purchasable items in-game grew; players got access to new types of cosmetics, such as packs, jam tracks, wraps, and kicks, and the overall quantity of available skins went up as well. A new free event weapon from Genshin Impact 5.4 has allegedly leaked and while a new F2P (free-to-play) weapon is always good news for players, this particular item may be capped in an odd way. Version 5.4 is the next update for HoYoverse’s action RPG, which has just entered Version 5.3. At the moment, all eyes are turned toward the final Archon Quests set in the region of Natlan, bringing an end to the main story arc for the Nation of Pyro. Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus monthly games for January 2025 will be Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. As detailed on PlayStation.Blog, all three of these games will be available on January 7 for PlayStation Plus members, with Suicide Squad arriving on PS5, Need for Speed racing to PS4, and Stanley Parable dropping on PS5 and PS4. The big addition here is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, especially after developer Rocksteady just recently confirmed it will be pulling the plug on new content after Season 4 arrives this month. Despite that, there is a lot to look forward to, including a playable Deathstroke, an offline mode, and all the previous seasonal content. In our Suicide Squad; Kill the Justice League review, we said it is "a repetitive and bland looter-shooter that, despite an engaging story, never stays fun for long enough." Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is the updated 2020 version of the game that was first released in 2010. This remastered edition has enhanced visuals, cross-platform multiplayer, asynchronous competition powered by Autolog, all the DLC, and more. In our Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered review, we said that, while it isn't the "most exciting remaster," Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is "still one of the best modern arcade racers around - and now it looks even better." Lastly, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is the "expanded re-imagining" of 2013's The Stanley Parable, complete with new content, choices, and secrets. There is also improved visuals, accessibility features, and much more.
