In Civilization 6, pursuing a Domination Victory requires building a massive army that can take down cities and conquer powerful enemy defenses throughout the entirety of the campaign. The Domination Victory can be incredibly challenging if players don't start the game with the right leader. Certain leaders and civilizations have obvious military and combat advantages or abilities, such as Shaka of the Zulu or Mongolia's Genghis Khan, while others are less apparent. Baldur's Gate 3 has 10 beloved companions, with 6 being playable origins and eight having their own romance routes. With the game being so popular, it's odd to think that one of the companions with both of these attributes is the one often sidelined. The Dead Space franchise has been a pillar of the horror gaming genre since its release in 2008, praised for its haunting atmosphere and unique combat mechanics. Even though the third entry in the franchise wasn't met with the same critical acclaim as the previous two, the franchise is still widely beloved to this day, proven by the success of the recent remaster. While the 2023 Dead Space Remaster wasn't a perfect adaptation, it did an excellent job bringing the classic sci-fi horror experience up to modern standards with revolutionized visuals and enhanced gameplay. Like it or not, time passes. Today turns into tomorrow turns into the next day, and all of a sudden Mario 64 is almost 30 years old. It's maybe a bit ridiculous that so much time has passed and somehow Mario 64 is still considered one of the single best 3D platformers ever made, and even taking off the nostalgia-glasses it holds up incredibly well against the Mario Galaxies, Spyros, Psychonauts, Banjo-Kazooies, and hundreds of other games that wouldn't have been anything like as good if Mario 64 hadn't defined its genre. It's fairly obvious by now nothing is coming along to take Mario 64's crown, but Kero Quest 64 takes a good, hard look at what that game did right and is more than happy to play in its sandbox. Mass Effect 5 is set to follow the original trilogy, meaning that the ending of Mass Effect 3 will bear important repercussions during the new game's start.
