  2. Valentine's Island is the centerpiece of the new Dig It update, and you can visit the POI to get up to 23 new diggable items. The new location has been added as part of Update 1.6, which went live earlier on February 1. Players will be able to visit this POI and try their luck to find all the new items. To do so, they will have to discover it first, and it's a pretty easy thing to do. Valentine's Island location in Dig It The Valentine's Island location is pretty easy to reach from the spawn position. Of course, the name of the island won't be available in the database until you visit it for the first time. Just head straight with a boat, and you'll find the new POI. \It's also very easy to spot the Valentine's Island. It's pretty big and has a pinkish glow that's easy to spot from afar. Once you reach the island, you'll be able to try and find the new items. To be more precise, the limited-time island can be found between Nookville and Badlands. All Valentine's Island diggable items in Dig It There are 23 new items to find at Valentine's Island, ranging across different rarities. The items with spaces in the preferred magnet section will be filled with the relevant type once we have more information. Do note that the Valentine's Island isn't a permanent location in Dig It. As such, you should make the most of it till it's available in the game, and look to complete the 100% collection as soon as possible. 4. There are plenty of creatures you can catch in Fisch, but landing the secret fish is the hardest task to complete. So far, there are six secret fish that can be caught inside the game, but they can prove to be stern tests. These six creatures are the hardest ones to catch, and they're not even part of the official bestiary. Let's take a look at how you can obtain them inside the game. Originally, there used to be three of them, but the recent Atlantic and Orcas update have doubled the numbers. How to catch all six secret fish in Fisch As of the latest Oil Rig/Orcas update, there are six fishes to catch. FishTypeLocationPreferred BaitSeasonWeatherBanana FishSecretAncient IsleNoneSummerRainLong PikeSecretOcean TerritoryInsectsAutumn, SpringRainMustard FishSecretOcean TerritorySea WeedSummerRainResinSecretMushgrove SwampNoneNoneNoneAncient KrakenSecretAtlantis (Kraken's Pool)Truffle WormNoneNightAncient OrcaSecretOcean (Arch)Shark HeadNoneNone The greatest difficulty of getting the secret fish are their spawn rate. They're not part of the official bestiary, which means that you're not supposed to find them inside the game. The Banana Fish, for example, is only meant for admins and partnered content creators. Yet, you might get lucky and land one with the correct setup. Thankfully, you don't really need the very best rods to land them. You should fully focus on Season, Weather, and Bait, along with the locations. The odds of landing these fish are low to begin with. Without the preferred setup, it will be next to impossible to catch these creatures, irrespective of your rod and player levels. 10. I understand why Grand Theft Auto 6 is at the top of everyone's list for 2025's GOTY winner. Not only is it the sequel to one of Rockstar's most beloved games ever made, but it's also been a long time in the making, with anticipation for it at an all-time high. Frankly, the fact that GTA 6 is coming out at all baffles me, especially considering just how long it's been since GTA 5, or even Red Dead Redemption 2, was released. So, the hype for it makes perfect sense to me, and even I have high hopes for it. View the full article
  11. 14 years after my first time playing the game, I recently revisited Atlus’ Catherine and was pleasantly surprised to see how wrong my first impression of the game was. I wasn’t too familiar with Atlus or their work when I first played the game. After really enjoying Persona 5, I worked my way through some of their older games, including the other Persona titles. However, I didn’t immediately feel like revisiting Catherine when I realized it was one of theirs. View the full article

  16. This week, Marvel Cinematic Universe star Simu Liu got Sleeping Dogs fans excited when he tweeted to say he was working with the rights holders to bring the much-loved video game to the big screen. It turns out things are a little further ahead than that. A source close to the project has told IGN that the Sleeping Dogs movie is in development, and we’re hearing Simu Liu, who plays Shang-Chi in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is producing and set to play the lead role of Wei Shen. IGN has asked Square Enix for comment. Sleeping Dogs was first released in 2012 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC and tells the story of detective Wei Shen as he infiltrates one of Hong Kong's notorious Triad crime syndicates. While it failed to meet publisher Square Enix's lofty sales expectations, it is much-loved by fans and sequel hopes have followed it ever since. The original adaptation was announced in 2017 with Donnie Yen set to star, but the film disappeared a year later and, just a few weeks ago, Yen himself confirmed it had been scrapped. “I spent a lot of time and did a lot of work with these producers, and I even invested some of my own money into obtaining the drafts and some of the rights," Yen told Polygon. "I waited for years. Years. And I really want to do it. I have all these visions in my head, and unfortunately… I don’t know, you know how Hollywood goes, right? I spent many, many years on it. It was an unfortunate thing. Well, on to better things." So when Liu tweeted to say he was working to make the Sleeping Dogs movie a reality, there was a degree of confusion among fans. Liu himself followed up with another statement that added fuel to the fire, and even revealed his intention to help bring a Sleeping Dogs video game sequel to life. “So few film projects make it from pitch phase to greenlight,” he said. “Pitching execs who don’t understand the game has been tiring. Everyone’s overwhelming love of Sleeping Dogs here has really given us life! “First a movie, then a sequel game for everyone… that’s always been the dream.” IGN can reveal that Story Kitchen is leading the Sleeping Dogs live action feature film project, with Square Enix the rights holder in question. Story Kitchen has form when it comes to video game adaptations, having worked on everything from the Sonic the Hedgehog films to Netflix’s animated Tomb Raider series. It’s currently working on the upcoming Streets of Rage adaptation and an adaptation of It Takes Two for Amazon. Last year, Story Kitchen announced a film adaptation of Square Enix's Just Cause, with Blue Beetle director Ángel Manuel Soto signed on. IGN understands the Sleeping Dogs project has a writer and major filmmaker attached to the project, but there’s no release date or word on when production will begin just yet. The movie marks a significant revival for Sleeping Dogs, which saw its video game sequel canceled in late 2013 before it entered production, and its original developer, United Front Games, shut down three years later. Now, over a decade later, Sleeping Dogs could finally be set for a wake-up call. Wesley is the *** News Editor for IGN. Find him on Twitter at @wyp100. 25. Atomfall is the much-anticipated game from acclaimed developer Rebellion Developments, the folks best known for the incredible Sniper Elite series.
