That means that while Charizard, Pikachu, and Mewtwo are exclusive to their Genetic Apex variants, Mew, Palkia, and Dialga can be acquired by opening Mythical Island and Space-Time Smackdown packs, respectively. Keep in mind, however, that each of the Gold Crown cards will boast a drop rate of below 0.2%. The latter will then be raised to 5% if you manage to score a Rare booster pack, also known as a God Pack. If you are like me and have yet to get a single Gold Crown, you can also acquire all of the cards by exchanging 2.500 of their respective Pack Points. But be ready to pull, as you will get a staggering amount of 5 points per opened pack. The post Pokemon TCG Pocket: Crown Rarity Gold Cards list appeared first on Destructoid. 4. Saving pulls for Yumemizuki Mizuki or Sigewinne in Genshin Impact 5.4 may be a necessary step that players have to take when considering the game’s limitations on F2P (free-to-play) Primogems – as such, they may not have enough resources saved up to obtain both 5-star characters. Yumemizuki Mizuki is a new 5-star Anemo character from Inazuma, who excels as a healer and a buffer in team comps, while Sigewinne is a 5-star Hydro healer. Both of these units are lined up to be available for pulls during the Phase 1 banners for Genshin Impact 5.4, as confirmed by HoYoverse. View the full article

  12. To this day, the Mass Effect franchise stands as one of the best narrative-driven experiences in gaming, with each entry providing a unique experience that thrives off decisions that have lasting consequences. While it's still a ways off before release given that Dragon Age: The Veilguard only just recently stopped development, there's plenty to be excited about when it comes to the long-awaited Mass Effect 5. Even if the idea of a return to the legendary sci-fi RPG franchise sounds great on paper, the mixed reception from BioWare's recent outings doesn't bode well for the series. View the full article

  18. Tower defense games are a fantastic distillation of the strategy game format, so it's not too surprising that the likes of Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance, Bloons TD 6, Orcs Must Die, and Plants vs Zombies remain so popular. New Kingdom Rush 5 DLC Colossal Dwarfare, however, has landed to a surprisingly stark reception. Since its launch on Thursday January 30, the expansion pack has found itself with a dreaded 'mostly negative' rating. 20. The first thought that popped into my head upon dipping my toes into Defender’s Quest 2: Mists of Ruin is that they don’t make tower defense games like this anymore. The second thought was that my tea was suddenly stone cold and that the past four hours had mysteriously disappeared. This is pure videogame comfort food, if you’ve even the slightest bit of nostalgia for the latter era of flash game design, and the ***** of the indie scene. This may be a relic lost in time, after over a decade of delays, but it still shines bright... Read more.View the full article

  24. The rise of tactical shooters such as Escape From Tarkov and Gray Zone Warfare feels like a direct response to the more arcade-style action of Call of Duty and even modern Battlefield. These more realistic, measured FPS games demand you take care at every turn, with realistic movement, damage, and ballistics ensuring the smartest, most well-coordinated players win out. Exfil goes one step further. There's no loot grind, perks, or 'gear fear' metagaming here - this is pure, infantry-led tactical combat.
