  1. What are the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 console commands and cheats? Life in Bohemia is tough; in the beginning, you have to fight for every meal, you're forced to use sub-par gear, and your skills are so low that you won't be able to hit a barn door with an arrow at ten paces. Console commands and cheats can change that, though, if you're so inclined. Even with the best KCD2 swords and best armor, you can struggle on occasion in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Your enemies are numerous, and it can feel like an uphill battle sometimes, even fighting for what you think is right. With KCD2 console commands, you can turn the tide, and get the upper hand with ease. Read the rest of the story... 2. Civilization 7 launch day is nearly upon us and the next chapter in the Firaxis 4X game is on its way to overhaul and reimagine the entire Civ formula. Combat is different. The new Ages system transforms the entire dynamic. Diplomacy has been greatly expanded and made more complex. With Manor Lords, Stellaris, and Age of Empires still competing for the PC strategy game crown, Civilization 7 has more to prove than any of its predecessors. Fortunately, a lot of the earliest issues have already been solved by the first Civ 7 update, which arrives alongside the beginning of the early-access *******. Read the rest of the story... 3. As a lifelong Pokémon fan, it’s been incredible to see the competitive scene evolve and expand over the years. I don’t think I’d be alone in saying that the younger me could never have predicted the heights that the competitive scene would reach when playing Pokémon for the first time—the level of skill from players across the board is monumental. 6. Yep, it was always going to happen. Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a game that didn't manage to hit EA's targets for it (neither did this year's EA FC, lest we forget), and came from a studio that's since had its staffing slashed is now being suggested as something that might have benefitted from some live-service bollocks by EA's execs. 7. Once upon a time, Mythic Variants were League of Legends' most controversial cosmetic. Only available to those who purchased 30 event-specific capsules - or those with some serious luck - you'd have to drop $200 to buy a slightly fancier recolor of an existing skin. But then there was the Faker Ahri skin, and then the three-form Exalted skins, and then the issues with the battle pass' Blue Essence output. LoL's monetization certainly ramped up in 2024, and 2025 appears to be continuing that trend. Read the rest of the story... 8. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has been out for less than 24 hours, but modders have already stepped up to fix one of its most frustrating problems. The new RPG has quickly proven itself a hit, flying past its predecessor to top 150,000 concurrent active players on Steam. Ratings are similarly glowing - the Warhorse Studios medieval epic currently holds an impressive 92% positive Steam user score. The one downer is that many players are running into issues with its restricted save system, but a solution is here. Read the rest of the story... 9. Even though Early Access can be an incredible thing to allow developers to build up their game with the community, and pull in some early funds, it can also go very wrong. 10. After their inaugural Dota 2 event in November 2024, BLAST is back to the fray again with another LAN event from the organization’s Copenhagen-based studio. BLAST Slam II features a $1M prize pool, just like the last time, with 10 of the top teams fighting it off in single-elimination bracket games across this week. Incidentally, Dota 2 is still on Patch 7.37e—the patch Slam I was played on—even after more than two months. However, as we saw in Fissure Playground #1 last week, the meta has been evolving even without Valve’s interception. It’ll be interesting to see whether Dota 2 gets a gameplay patch with Crownfall Act IV ending on Feb 6 in the middle of BLAST Slam II. View the full article
  11. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is the ambitious sequel to the first title, which garnered a niche but substantial following from fans of hardcore medieval realism. Table of contentsKingdom Come Deliverance 2 Game Pass statusKingdom Come Deliverance 2 editions Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Game Pass status Unfortunately, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is currently unavailable on Game Pass and there is no indication that it will be added anytime soon. While this is disappointing, there is still a chance for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 to launch on Game Pass after a few months. When sales settle down, you could get a cheaper deal to try the game out, and the developers might decide to make it readily available to players who are hesitant about trying out the genre. 19. Having man's best friend by your side in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has several advantages, and you can find Henry's trusted companion Mutt pretty early. In fact, you start looking for the dog as soon as you gain access to the open world. Mutt will be separated after being attacked at the camp, so the onus is on you to find him. You can fast-track this process by going to the spot where Mutt hides post the attack and it will allow you to add him to your party quicker. Mutt's location in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 To find Mutt, you'll have to travel to the northwest part of Semine, and the spot is close to the river. Just take he road from Semine, and you'll reach a point from where the road takes you to the forest. Mutt is actually near a wolf cave, and you can find in southwest of the Nomad's Camp. Hence, you can also quick travel to Nomad's Camp and start your journey from there. Either way, the key is to head into the forest. Once you approach the cave, you'll find Mutt whining, and being surrounded by a wolves. You'll have to save him from the wolves, and this quest also serves as the tutorial towards how you can command your dog to perform certain actions. You can choose to flee, but the wolves are pretty easy to dispose off, and you'll gain XP in the process of doing so. [Hidden Content] Just press your your L1/LB button to look for Mutt, and you'll get to interact with him, feed him, or send him to your home. You can also find Mutt while completing the Invaders side quest. This quest allows you to interact with the Cumans, and Henry will follow Vasko's trail up the hill. If you keep following the quest objective, you'll be led directly to the cave. You'll again come across the same cutscene and set of actions, but the fight will be harder as it will be night and Henry will be drunk. Hence, the first method is the recommended route you should take in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The post How to find Mutt in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 appeared first on Destructoid. 20. How do you use the Monster Hunter Wilds Switch Axe? If you can't decide between two weapons, you're in luck. The Switch Axe joins the Charge Blade as one of the two transformative weapons in Monster Hunter. 21. The Spencer Mansion of Resident Evil 1 remains one of the most iconic locations in the history of horror games. Personally, I prefer its original, 1996 rendition - it has more character and cheap charm. But Resident Evil Remake's version of the zombie-infested estate does a great job of wrongfooting series veterans. You think you know the puzzles and the traps, but Capcom is a step ahead and twists your experience back on you. With rumors of Resident Evil 9 and a Code Veronica remake still in the air, and other horror series like Silent Hill forging a comeback, suddenly, ten years after it arrived on Steam, Resident Evil Remake has just gotten a strange update. 22. Last year, Balatro took over my life. I'd sit in front of my PC, lost to the soothing synth waves and muttering Joker cards. My friends and I would chat about the best combos and strategies, I was watching hour-long streams of some truly mind-boggling runs, and I was ticking off every challenge. Then Balatro came to mobile and ruined me all over again. Suddenly I was playing on the train, in bed, at the gym, and on the sly when visiting family. This experience isn't unique to me, though, because Balatro has quickly become a phenomenon that's sold over five million copies.
