  3. The LEC 2025 Winter Split Playoff stage is underway, and the first few weeks of Fearless Draft have shown just how fun this format can be. With unpredictable drafts, deeper champion pools, and dynamic strategies on display, fans are simply entertained—but they’re not the only ones. Fearless Draft is a unique drafting format in competitive League of Legends that prevents teams from selecting the same champions in consecutive games in the same match. This forces players and coaches to continuously adapt their strategies, showcasing greater flexibility and deeper champion pools. In the EMEA region, Fearless Draft was introduced this year and just for Winter Split’s Playoffs. However, players and coaches argue that its short-lived presence has not allowed it to reach its full potential in shaping the competition for both teams and fans. View the full article
  4. The Thing’s addition to Marvel Rivals has sent literal shockwaves throughout the game, with many rushing to pick the rock man up in every ******. However, players think one other Marvel character would be the perfect counterpart for The Thing, if he were to be added to the game. Juggernaut is the character in question, one that players in a Feb. 19 Reddit discussion have already designed perfectly, considering him to be The Thing‘s opposite. As The Thing cannot be displaced but can be stopped, the thread’s creator suggested that Juggernaut should have the ability to tank through stoppage but be displaceable, being the polar opposite to the Fantastic Four character. This suggestion garnered a ton of support, with players pitching their own solutions to a potential Juggernaut addition, and one even posing the ontological question of what would happen if Juggernaut and The Thing were to clash. 5. Obsidian Entertainment has often felt like it is in the shadow of Bethesda, with its better-known games, including The Outer Worlds and Avowed, often being directly compared to Bethesda's beloved IP. The Outer Worlds is seen as just being Fallout-lite, and Avowed, up until launch, was Skyrim-lite. Obsidian Entertainment has even made a spin-off of Bethesda's Fallout series in the form of New Vegas, further implying, at least at first glance, that the developer is riding the coattails of a ******* and more successful one. 6. Marvel Rivals almost never came out, according to a new report. It's no surprise right now how Marvel Rivals has become so popular: it adapts an incredibly well-liked piece of IP into a game that's in equal parts fun and challenging. 8. Marvel Rivals, a game which has already become a multiplayer juggernaut, almost didn’t happen at all, a new report claims. Struggles over character rights and a costly move to repurpose the game nearly allegedly caused publisher NetEase to scrap the project altogether. As per a Feb. 21 Bloomberg report, Marvel Rivals was close to getting canned, as the game’s studio, NetEase, reportedly struggled to obtain rights to certain characters. Bloomberg’s sources claim that NetEase’s chief executive, William Ding, “objected to paying Walt Disney Co. for the use of popular characters like Wolverine and Spider-Man,” and at one point suggested to artists to come up with their own heroes instead. The ******** developer also allegedly sought to “repurpose” Marvel Rivals amid these challenges, which reportedly racked up “millions of dollars” in expenses, money which was seemingly spent in vain, as Marvel Rivals ended up getting all the licenses at the end. Artist Rui Komatsuzaki, composer Masafumi Takada, and writer Kazutaka Kodaka return with this unorthodox gacha game. 19. We love a bit of Dying Light here at PCGamesN - both the original and its more polished, expansive sequel. While it may lack the deep lore and co-op novelty of Call of Duty Zombies, the brutal survival experience of DayZ, or the properly dark scares of Resident Evil, I still think Dying Light 2 is one of the most underrated zombie games around. Sure, it's beloved by millions already, but it just never seems to get the levels of praise it deserves. Open-world exploration, a gameplay-altering day-night cycle, slick parkour, and satisfying combat combine to create a really enjoyable experience. If it's one you've always wanted to try, now's the perfect time to bite the bullet - Dying Light 2, fresh off of adding a fan-favorite game mode permanently, is super cheap for the next few days. 23. The composer for Obsidian's fantasy action RPG Avowed has teased details of an ultra-rare ending that most players will probably never see. Avowed has received decent reviews - perhaps not as great as other Obsidian games, but it's certainly garnered some praise. One of its most popular aspects has been the depth and complexity of its story choices - something Obsidian has always excelled at. Screen Rant reviewer Kyle Gratton called these difficult decisions "often Avowed's best trait." These decisions affect not only the moment-to-moment gameplay and the development of the story, but also the ending you get. View the full article

The new cosmetic is one of the many additions made as part of the latest patch. The process of unlocking the skin also relies heavily on its comic-inspired design. Let's take a look at how to unlock the new skin and add it to your in-game collection. How to unlock Carved Traveler Groot skin Marvel Rivals The new Groot skin is part of the Midnight Features 2 event challenges, which are now live inside the game. If you have played the game before this, you'll know what to expect. If you're new or joining the game for the first time, the tasks will be displayed in the form of panels that appear like something straight out of a comic book. The Midnight Features 2 event will continue throughout Season 1.5. Once you go to the Event section, you'll be able to check out all the questlines available in the form of a magazine. Each section has a unique investigation that you'll need to complete. Every investigation has certain missions, and you'll have to complete all of them to move on to the next milestone. Hence, you'll need to be patient and continue to grind the latest season in order to add the skin to your collection permanently. Do note that Groot's new skin is available on the fifth page itself. The final page doesn't include any other rewards, but the new skin and its appearance is certainly worth putting in the grind.
