Extraction RPG Dark and Darker has been delisted from the Epic Games Store, with developer Ironmace citing claims made during ongoing legal disputes as the cause. The multiplayer game combines co-op dungeon crawling with DnD-style classes and the ability to fight other players to snatch their hard-earned spoils. It was previously made unavailable on storefronts including Steam following legal proceedings with Nexon Games around alleged copyright infringement. It eventually returned to Steam alongside the Epic Games Store in mid-2024, but has now been pulled from the latter. Read the rest of the story... Commemoration has been the top Void machine gun in Destiny 2 for a long time. But the Corrective Measure aims to take Commemoration’s throne with its new set of perks and almost unlimited Void synergy. Corrective Measure is an Aggressive Frame 600 RPM Void machine gun from the Vault of Glass raid. While it has a ton of Void-related perks, like Destabilizing Rounds and Demoralize, it doesn’t have a passive reload perk, so there’s still a reason to keep Commemoration around. Arcane Lineage just might have my favorite race system, at least when it comes to Roblox RPG experiences. While like most titles I tried in the last year, it’s mostly based on luck, there are some races you can legitimately earn and have fun while doing so. Having that in mind, let’s unfurl this guide on how to unlock all races in Arcane Lineage, shall we? Table of contentsDo You Need to Unlock Every Race in Arcane Lineage? Full List of Rerollable Arcane Lineage Races How to Unlock Obtainable Races in Arcane Lineage All Lentum Abilities in Arcane LineageHow to Unlock Lentum in Arcane LineageAll Amorus Abilities in Arcane LineageHow to Unlock Amorus in Arcane LineageAll Sheea Abilities in Arcane LineageHow to Unlock Sheea in Arcane LineageAll Inferion Abilities in Arcane LineageHow to Unlock Inferion in Arcane LineageDo You Need to Unlock Every Race in Arcane Lineage? Fortunately, no. In total, there are 14 races in Arcane Lineage. 10 of them are accessible only through rerolling. Mind you, you can only reroll if you purchase a Gamepass, in which case a reroll costs 125 Robux. Don’t despair, though—in Arcane Lineage, you can reroll your character's race without spending Robux by using a Lineage Shard. This item can be obtained through gameplay by defeating bosses like Yar'Thul, who has a chance to drop it upon defeat. Make sure you grab one of the available Arcane Lineage codes to make the grind easier. Alternatively, you can purchase a Lineage Shard from the Mysterious Merchant for 3,600 to 4,400 gold in normal mode. Please note that using a Lineage Shard requires your character to be at least level 20. Full List of Rerollable Arcane Lineage Races You won’t have to break a sweat to unlock these races, but you’ll have to spend A LOT of gold, Robux or hours grinding bosses. All it takes is a bit of grinding and efficient questing. Hence, let's take a look at how to unlock all races in Arcane Lineage that aren't a product of rerolls: All Lentum Abilities in Arcane Lineage The hardest Arcane Lineage race to unlock, this lovable ****** pays off with its defensive cooldown and overall durability. Screenshot by Destructoid Actives Bane (Lvl 20): Snaps your fingers, creating a poison explosion that applies poison to the target and adjacent foes. Cost: 1Cooldown: 7Base Damage: 7 Mucilage (Lvl 40): Coats a target ally or yourself in ******, forming a barrier that reduces incoming damage for 3 turns. Effectiveness varies based on attack type but will always reduce damage to at least 1. Visuals change based on soul color. Cost: 3Cooldown: 12Duration: 3T Passives Slimy Shield (Lvl 30): Blocking a physical attack blinds and weakens the attacker.??? (Lvl 1): Grants passive regeneration, restoring 2 HP per turn. Scales with incoming healing.??? (Lvl 1): Allows interaction with ****** statues and the ****** King without needing a Gelat Ring.??? (Lvl 1): Provides 20-45% resistance to poison-based attacks (not damage over time effects). Needs further testing. How to Unlock Lentum in Arcane Lineage Like I said, you'll have quite the journey until you can actually roll a Lentum. The process is a bit convoluted and grindy, involving the following: Step 1: Equip a Gelat Ring. Removing it before finishing Step 7 may reset progress.Step 2: Talk to the ****** King Statue. If he doesn’t give the quest to speak with four ****** statues, try resetting, re-equipping the ring, or using a private server. If none work, a wipe may be needed. Screenshot by Destructoid Step 3: Speak to the four ****** statues. If they say "No yahaha," you didn’t receive the correct quest—repeat Step 2. Screenshot by Destructoid Step 4: Return to the ****** King Statue after getting the correct dialogue. He will now request ****** Chunks.Step 5: Give the ****** King 100 ****** Chunks. If he doesn’t mention "fallen subjects," try giving them in 25-chunk intervals.Step 6: After mentioning "fallen subjects," the ****** King boss will spawn. You must solo the boss (though some have reportedly completed it in a party if they landed the final hit).Step 7: Return to the ****** King Statue. If you don’t see the option to wipe, he may request more ****** Chunks, requiring another ****** King kill (server hopping may help find one).Step 8: Lentum acquired. All Amorus Abilities in Arcane Lineage This just might be my favorite race, due to how fun using Sinister Gaze can be. You never know which debuffs you might pick once you cast it. Screenshot by Destructoid Actives Sinister Gaze (Lvl 5): Stares at the enemy with a cursed eye, dealing damage and copying their buffs while sharing debuffs. Nevertheless, the Amorus is absolutely worth it. Screenshot by Destructoid Step 1: Reach Level 35+.Step 2: Talk to Thanasius and offer him the following items: Phoenix Tear, Lineage Shard, Memory Fragment, Soul Dust, Narthana’s Sigil, Darksigil, Reality Watch, Stellian Core, Shifting Hourglass, Expedite Anklet, Chaos Orb, Metrom’s Amulet, Void Key.Step 3: Amorus acquired. All Sheea Abilities in Arcane Lineage Despite being Angelic, Sheeas are known for vanquishing foes with heavenly fury. Class fantasy-wise, this has to be my favorite race. Best of all, when learning how to unlock all races in Arcane Lineage, this is by far the easiest one. Screenshot by Destructoid Actives Skyward Bolt (Lvl 1): Condenses light into a bolt of shocking energy with a chance to blind. Brant is finally here in Wuthering Waves. He is a 5-star Resonator who uses a Sword and is best used as a support/sub-DPS unit for Fusion DPS characters. In this article, you can find some of the best 5-star, 4-star, and F2P weapons for the captain of the Fool's Troupe. Best weapons for BrantUnflickering Valor Image via Kuro Games Unflickering Valor is Brant's best weapon in Wuthering Waves since it has everything he needs. The 5-star Sword's Base ATK is pretty low but the second stat Energy Regen makes up for it since Brant's Forte Circuit converts the ER stats to ATK. Moreover, the weapon's passive provides a decent Crit. Rate bonus and significantly buffs the wielder's Basic Attack DMG. Since Unflickering Valor is Brant's signature weapon, you can only obtain it when his banner is available. Red Spring Image via Kuro Games Red Spring is one of the best alternatives for Brant if you have good enough Energy Regen on him from his Echoes. The weapon has a decent Crit. Rate second stat bonus and the passive boosts the wielder's ATK and Basic Attack DMG, which will allow the captain of the Fool's Troupe to work as a good sub-DPS unit. Red Spring is also a limited 5-star weapon so it can only be obtained when Camellya's banner is up. Emerald of Genesis Image via Kuro Games Emerald of Genesis is a 5-star Sword but is more accessible than the other two options. Similar to Red Spring, it also provides a good Crit. Rate boost. Furthermore, the weapon's passive increases the wielder's Energy Regen and ATK, making it a good weapon option for Brant. Emerald of Genesis is a permanent weapon and can be pulled from the Standard weapon banner. In addition, one can obtain it for free as a reward for reaching Union Level 45. Overture Image via Kuro Games Overture is easily the best 4-star weapons for Brant. While it doesn't do anything to provide any DMG bonuses, it significantly increases the wielder's Energy Regen and restores Concerto Energy, allowing smoother gameplay. Overture can be pulled from any banner, but obtaining it will depend on your luck. Sword of Voyager Image via Kuro Games Sword of Voyager is a 3-star Sword and arguably the most accessible weapon with an Energy Regen stat bonus for Brant. It also has the same passive effects as Overture, making it the best F2P alternative. The post Best weapons for Brant in Wuthering Waves appeared first on Destructoid. View the full article
Brant has finally made his long-awaited debut in Wuthering Waves. Despite his carefree and easygoing persona, he deeply cares for his crewmates, which is evident based on what others think about him. Likewise, you can check out Brant's profile and see what he has to say about other characters. Do note that you will have to reach Intimacy Level 4 to unlock all of Brant's voicelines about other Wuthering Waves characters. Brant's voicelines about Roccia, Zani, and other charactersRoccia Image via Kuro Games Here is Brant's voiceline about Roccia in the game: "Don't be fooled by our First Mate's age—if you ever need performance advice, she's your go-to. Plus, she's also an excellent stage designer!" Brant suggests not to be fooled by Roccia's age, and you can always visit her if you need performance advice as she is an amazing stage designer. Also read: Best Roccia build guide in Wuthering Waves Carlotta Image via Kuro Games Brant's official voiceline about Carlotta read: "She's got her course set and sticks to it, no matter what. Living as a Montelli is no easy path, but she's determined to make her own way. And mark my words, when her performances draw to a close, she'll be known not just as a Montelli, but Carlotta." Brant briefly complements Carlotta for her determination to make her own way despite being a Montelli and further claims that when she has completed her task, she will be known by her name and not just her family. Cartethyia Image via Kuro Games Here's what Brant has to say about Cartethyia in Wuthering Waves: "Some call her a saint; others, a sinner. But who is she really? No one cares how she treats her friends or faces her foes. The Order's tales never speak of her dreams, and the legends conceal her heart's desire. Everyone has heard of Cartethyia—but does anyone know the person behind that name?" Much like others, Brant doesn't have much to say about Cartethyia and only questions if anyone knows anything about the person behind the name, even though everyone has heard of her. Zani Image via Kuro Games Brant's voiceline about Zani reads: "Many wear masks to fit in, but not her. Whatever her past, whatever roles she's played, she's here now, true to herself." Brant claims that Zani does not pretend or wear any masks to fit in with others. He also adds that she is true to herself regardless of her past or whatever role she has played. With each new season and event in Cookie Run Kingdom, you're going to want to farm some important materials including Fateful Cookie Cutters and Tickets. Here's the best way to farm Fateful Cookie Cutters and Tickets in Cookie Run Kingdom with all the updates in 2025. Screenshot by Destructoid Best way to farm Fateful Cookie Cutters and Tickets in 2025 When it comes to farming Fateful Cookie Cutters in Cookie Run Kingdom, you're going to want to start by completing the Beast-Yeast, the late-game continent unlock after clearing Story Stage 8-30 in Crispia. Completing the Beast-Yeast Story Mode will net you a total of 160 Fateful Cookie Cutters, but you'll only be able to receive them a single time. If you have a strong enough team, you can also just do the first 10 stages on Hard to meet the requirements to get the Fateful Cookie Cutters. Next, you'll want to make sure to take advantage of all the currently ongoing events. The Daily Login event will earn you 10 Fateful Cookie Tickets on Day 14, as will the final reward for completing the Champion of Chaos event. The Diverged Paths Costume Gacha event also rewards Fateful Cookie Tickets with 3 as the rewards for 5 Costume Gacha pulls, 5 more for reaching 20, and an additional 7 Fateful Cookie Tickets for doing 50 Costume Gacha pulls. Keep in mind that all the Fateful Cookie Tickets you earn from limited time events will also expire when those events end, so you'll want to make sure to use them before the current event is over and the new one begins. For some more Fateful Cookie Cutters, you'll want to check out all the shops. The Crystal Event Shop has a total of 10 Fateful Cookie Cutters available for purchase, which gives you 2 of them for 3,000 Crystals. Also check out the Champion of Chaos event shop as it has another 5 Fateful Cookie Cutters available for 500 Elite Pawns each. Finally, complete your Chest of Trophies event, as some of the Trophy Chests have a 9.3% chance of containing 5 Fateful Cookie Tickets, and you can receive another 10 Fateful Cookie Tickets for acquiring 50 Trophies from the event. The Kingdom Pass also has Fateful Cookie Cutters throughout both in the free and paid tracks, so make sure to grab them as you need them. The only other way to farm Fateful Cookie Cutters is through the Monster Menace. Each of the blue Beast-Yeast item chests have a 1% chance of obtaining 3 Fateful Cookie Cutters, though that's such a low rate it's hardly farmable. Avowed, for all its virtues, didn't make the best first impression on me. While it's been obvious for a long time that the game would lean into some goofy inclinations, I still found myself somewhat taken aback by the tone at the start. Rather than capturing the darkly comic absurdity of Fallout: New Vegas, one of the defining titles from Avowed developer Obsidian Entertainment, I felt like I had been thrust into a world closer to Horizon Zero Dawn or what I imagine Dragon Age: The Veilguard to be (I haven't played it, so I'm almost certainly being unfair).Warning: The following article includes spoilers for Avowed.Whether that sensibility is good or bad is a matter of taste, but it immediately felt out of place to me in Eora. It's been a while since I've played Pillars of Eternity, which takes place in the same world, but I remember its characters feeling like appropriate parts of a rich fantasy setting, not people I could encounter at Starbucks. As I approach Avowed's conclusion, however, I'm happy to admit that the writing has won me over, and I'm slowly convincing myself that it was an intentional gambit all along. View the full article

The canteen is a thing of the past in Monster Hunter Wilds; for the most part, you'll have to cook your own meals. My overriding memories of it include a third-person lock-on cam, and a fly-through-these-boxes mini-game that would drift your plane onto the tail of your target. Despite making dogfighting ludicrously accessible and taking off to decent sales figures, a lacklustre sequel put this fledgling franchise into a flatspin, then the dirt. One of the elements unique to Marvel Rivalsis the team-up abilities, which provide characters with buffs if two or more characters needed for a specific team-up are selected. This can only work for a hero shooter based in a pre-established universe, since there needs to be known pre-existing relationships between characters for the team-ups to make sense. Some can be obvious, like The Fantastic Four having a team-up, while others are more obscure, like Luna Snow and Iron Fist being former members of the Agents of Atlas, leading to their team-up. H3H3Productions, headed by Ethan and Hila Klein, has been banned for re-running the Hasan Content Nuke video on their account. Klein revealed this during a March 5 H3 Podcast stream, where he also called Twitch out for the platform’s alleged double standards. The H3H3Productions account was banned for 30 days for “encouraging or glorifying extreme violence,” the Twitch notice said. Klein learned of the ban during an episode of the H3 Podcast and reacted sharply against it. He argued that he got banned for Hasan’s content “that’s on [Twitch’s] platform, for which he didn’t get in trouble for.” The notice, which Klein showed to the camera during the episode, stated that his video contained several violations, some of which included encouraging others to burn down police stations and physically attack people at protests and “explicitly stating that a group of people should be killed.” View the full article

And when those heroes also have strong damage output, tiny hitboxes, or powerful defensive abilities? The frustration is real. That frustration recently boiled over in a Reddit discussion where players debated whether these heroes should have their health nerfed to compensate for their ability to escape fights so easily. “All heroes with high mobility skills should be 225 HP tbh, Genji included. (With the exception of Tracer due to recall),” one player suggested, with others chiming in to agree. View the full article
