The Logitech PowerPlay 2 is here, eight years since the original version of its clever wireless charging mousepad launched. This new version takes the idea of a mouse mat that continually charges your mouse and simplifies it to its bare essentials. Gone is the included wireless dongle for your mouse, gone is the RGB lighting, and gone is the reversible hard mousepad. Instead, the PowerPlay 2 simply provides its wireless charging ability, which it fires through a thin soft mousepad surface. All that simplification has resulted in a welcome drop in price from the $119 of the original to $99 for the new model (recent tariff-related price increases notwithstanding). The new Steam Hardware Survey is out, and we're now starting to see some of the latest generation of GPUs creeping up the chart. Several of the latest Nvidia GeForce graphics cards are now appearing, including the RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti, as well as the more expensive RTX 5080. There are two new GPUs that are conspicuous by their absence, though, and those are the new AMD Radeon RX 9070 cards. Despite photos of huge stacks of graphics cards apparently being in stock and then immediately selling out, our current pick as the best graphics card for most gamers has failed to make any kind of dent in the latest Steam survey. It has been over six years since Epic started undercutting Steam's 30 percent revenue share for developers, asking for just 12 percent of sales on its then-new Epic Games Store. Now, Epic is going even further by reducing those fees to zero for a game's first $1 million in annual sales. The newly announced fee structure will go into effect in June, Epic said, and will apply to a developer's revenue on a "per app" basis. After the first $1 million in annual sales, apps will be charged the usual 12 percent fee for listing on the Epic Games Store. This isn't the first time Epic has offered a financial break to smaller developers. Back in 2011, the company eschewed royalty payments for the first $50,000 in sales for projects made with the newly free Unreal Development Kit. It was previously announced for a Fall 2025 release window. Microsoft has revealed which games will be leaving its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. In all, eight games are set to depart, including Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City. Xbox Game Pass is an online gaming service for Xbox and PC game platforms where subscribers can stream directly on smart devices and consoles, play new games on day one, depending upon their subscription tier, and access a catalog of hundreds of high-quality games with friends on console, PC, or cloud. It's from the latter that the following eight games are being removed. Defeating him gives you a special Lightsaber with a unique ability, Force Saber Throw. But other players will likely contest this spot, so watch your surroundings as you approach this area. Overall, this method differs from previous Fortnite seasons that required you to fight Darth Vader to get a Lightsaber. Nowadays, talking to the right people—or, in this case, holograms—is how you'll get one without much trouble. Fighting Darth Vader will reward you with a special Lightsaber, but doing so is completely optional. They're all decently tricky to track down, so you may need some help finding all NPCs. This season is completely Star Wars-themed, which means most of the characters you can meet are straight from a galaxy far, far away. Fortnite's Star Wars Galactic season lets you control two different aircraft, including a very powerful X-Wing armed with guns that can easily knock out enemies in a few seconds. Much like a car, the X-Wing also has durability that, once depleted, will cause the plane to explode and disappear.
