Steve Kerr sees shades of early Warriors in Kenny Atkinson’s Cavs Steve Kerr sees shades of early Warriors in Kenny Atkinson’s Cavs CLEVELAND — If there is anyone qualified to speak on what the Cleveland Cavaliers are doing to the rest of the league this season, it’s Steve Kerr and Draymond Green. The Golden State Warriors started winning championships after Kerr inherited a really good roster and made it great. The frenetic pace, the extra pass, the relentless onslaught of 3-pointers; the luxury of multiple playmakers who can dribble, pass and ******; the nightly chokehold defensively… If there was a group of pioneers who forged a new way to play in this pace-and-space era, it was Kerr and the Warriors driving the wagons and settling the land. Now, it’s the Cavaliers and their new coach putting the rest of the NBA on notice similar to how the Warriors did it a decade ago. Cleveland tied a franchise record with 83 points in the first half Friday and set a team record with a 41-point halftime lead in what became a 136-117 victory. The Cavs aren’t just beating teams this season; they’re destroying them. They’re the only team ********* better than 50 percent overall and lead the league in 3-point percentage. They’re second in made 3s, have the second-best point differential and at 10-0 and remain the last unbeaten with the league’s best start to a season since these Warriors went 24-0 to begin 2015-16. And they’re doing it with two defensive giants in Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. At some point, it isn’t just a hot start or good *********. There comes a time when a streak transitions from a fluke to the fabric of the franchise. That’s where the Cavaliers are today. “I feel like they just beat us with what we’ve beaten teams with for years,” Green said. “Just the ball movement, guys flying around. They’re so intentional about the extra pass. That’s a staple for us. The drive, kick, swing is what we’ve preached for years, and they diced us up with it.” GO DEEPER Harper: Cleveland Cavaliers are 10-0. Are they for real? It’s high praise coming from someone who won four championships playing this way, from someone who recognizes how Kenny Atkinson is deploying Mobley exactly how Green has played in the Warriors’ system for years. That experience with Green and the Warriors is part of what made Atkinson so appealing for the job in Cleveland. Mobley plays from the pocket now similar to how Green does with the Warriors. He is a hub on offense, with one huge difference. “He’s 7 feet,” Green said. Mobley’s length on the wing adds a dimension to the Cavs that not even Green and the Warriors enjoyed during their dynasty. Mobley’s evolution into a wing is solving the issue of playing him alongside Jarrett Allen as two non-********* bigs clogging the floor. Atkinson’s arrival has helped transform Mobley, which in turn has evolved the Cavs from a plucky playoff contender to a menacing championship force. “Clearly one of the best teams in the league,” Kerr said. The entire roster is back from last year. The only real change was to Atkinson and the coaching staff. It’s easy to draw the comparison between what Kerr did for the Warriors when he arrived in 2014 and how Atkinson has transformed the Cavaliers this season after spending three years as an assistant on Kerr’s staff. “This was a great job to get, just like mine was 10 years ago,” Kerr said. “Now, you’re just tweaking things and seeing where you can get better on the margins rather than trying to grow something organically. It’s a perfect spot, and Kenny has taken advantage.” Kerr’s greatness extends beyond past his players. He made Mike Brown a better coach for the Sacramento Kings because of his time immersed in the Warriors’ culture. Now, it seems to have had a similar effect on Atkinson in Cleveland during his second stint as a head coach. Part of Kerr’s greatness is his ability to communicate with everyone on the roster, his deftness at handling stars and the ease with which he involves everyone on his coaching staff and makes the culture so inclusive. “Steve has an incredible gift to understand the temperature of the team,” Atkinson said. It’s no secret Atkinson struggled dealing with moody stars in Brooklyn, which is part of the reason he was fired despite overachieving with a Nets roster that wasn’t very good his first few years. In Cleveland, he arrived with Donovan Mitchell’s blessing and a pre-existing relationship with guys like Jarrett Allen and Caris LeVert from their days together with the Nets. The trust was instant, the results obvious. He has installed more motion on offense to create better looks. The Cavs started setting screens near midcourt Friday to loosen the Warriors’ excellent defense and create easy lobs at the basket. The Cavs have shifted from a team heavily reliant on pick-and-rolls to a team that can damage opponents from all corners. They scored 136 points on a night Mitchell, their best player, shot 4 of 13 and scored only 12 points. The offense is so versatile they didn’t even need him. “A lot easier to guard last year,” Green said. “A lot tougher to guard this year.” Where all of this goes ******** to be seen. Both the Cavs and Warriors look much different than the teams that staged four consecutive Finals series. Green and Steph Curry still remain as the pillars of the Warriors, but the Cavs have been completely torn down and rebuilt since their last Finals appearance in 2018. They are young, athletic, excellent defensively, and they can now score with any team in the league. Among all of the impressive milestones set with this start, the Cavaliers have already surpassed 130 points five times this season. It matches the franchise record. They did it in 10 games. (WFLA) — Multiple people were arrested late Friday night and into Saturday morning after investigators said they learned of a large street takeover planned in Tampa. Members of the Florida Highway Patrol and Tampa Police Department responded to several locations where individuals were reportedly going to race and perform “dangerous” stunts. Officers were able to prevent the events from taking place at both the Temple Terrace and Busch Boulevard locations, officials said. However, the activities had already begun at the intersection of Fletcher Avenue and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. Troopers engaged in several short pursuits at the third location, resulting in 10 arrests. According to FHP, four drivers were charged with felonies, and six passengers were charged with street racing and takeover. Police also impounded four vehicles with 30-day holds and recovered two firearms. “The success of this operation, which prevented those in the community from being placed in dangerous situations while on Florida roads, was due to information that was intercepted by law enforcement before the event took place,” the FHP said in a statement Saturday afternoon. Anyone who encounters street racing, stunt driving or a roadway takeover while they are on the road is asked to safely pull over and report it by calling *FHP or 911. Students divided over tuition fee rise Handout Isobel, 18, decided she “did not want the debt” from going to university Tuition fees are rising for undergraduate students at universities in England for the first time in eight years. Students from the *** will pay £9,535 per year in 2025-26, a rise of £285. The BBC has spoken to two friends from the heart of rural Devon, who met at Exeter College while studying for a T-level in business management and administration. They have since gone their separate ways, with one in his first year at uni and the other working nine-to-five. Isobel, 18: ‘I’m even happier with my decision now’Handout Isobel is one of just two among her group of school-leaving friends not attending university Despite claiming she has “never really been academic”, Isobel says she assumed she would end up at university throughout her time at secondary school. It was only when she arrived at college that other opportunities became apparent. Instead of taking the traditional three A-levels, Isobel chose a T-level course which provided work experience alongside her studies. It did not take long for her to realise university was not for her, and Isobel did not attend any open days. Now embarking on a new job in a legal support role, she says she is “even happier with her decision” with university fees on the rise. “I didn’t want the debt,” she says. “By the time everyone else comes out of university, I’ll have some savings behind me, I’ll be embedded within a company, and hopefully will have gained some qualifications in my job.” The Student Loans Company says graduates in England currently leave university with average debts of £48,470. In 2023, loan terms were increased from 30 to 40 years and repayment threshold salaries were lowered, from £27,295 to £25,000, meaning more graduates will be repaying their loans, for longer. Isobel says she is one of just two people, among a group of 12 friends, who is not going to university. For now, many of her friends have taken gap years, but Isobel says she worries about “fomo [***** of missing out]” when they eventually leave for university, and are out partying on a Wednesday night. “By the time they graduate, I think I will feel a bit envious, too, that they’re getting these lovely certificates for all the hard work they’ve done – while I will have been working hard but won’t get a big celebratory day,” she says. Sam, 18: ‘I track my Monzo like a hawk’Fern Sherwood When not in lectures, Sam loves exploring his new home city of Bath University was always part of the plan for Sam, who wants to set up his own marketing agency, like his dad. Despite fees going up, Sam says he thinks his business degree at Bath Spa University has been “incredible” value for money so far, when he considers all the extras available to students. “At college, I can’t go to see the therapist we have on campus to have a chat, I can’t go into the library and use all these online resources, I’m not doing all these modules on subjects in the detail we are getting at uni,” he says. Sam is paying for his tuition – which in his first term includes 12 hours of contact time per week – with a student loan. The debate over whether some university courses provide value for money was a major topic during the last general election, after the previous ************* government said it would scrap some “rip-off” degrees. Previously, some students have complained that a lot of their contact time still ******** online, long after Covid. But Sam believes his course still represents good value, because each hour of lectures or seminars also comprises three hours of external study. He is also benefiting from the wider student experience. Speaking from his student halls, he says he has met “some of the kindest and loveliest people”, and is enjoying exploring a new city. But Sam says there is “always stress” about money, adding that he watches his bank account “like a hawk”. “I have friends who have had to ask their parents for money – and I’ve had to calm them down,” he says. “They think, ‘I’ve ******* as a ****, I’ve had to take more money off my parents – I’m not sustaining myself.’ It’s damaging to their mental health.” Responding to the government’s announcement on fees, one personal finance expert said parents of young children should start saving now for their university years. Sarah Coles, from financial services firm Hargreaves Lansdown, said parents of children heading to university should “be clear about what level of financial support they can expect from you”. Sam says he feels lucky to have a Lidl on his doorstep, and spends roughly £20 on his weekly shop. He also pays for his journeys to and from campus. After a busy freshers’ week, he says going out is now limited to a couple of pints at the pub once or twice a week. ‘Massively beneficial’Handout Sam’s dad, David (right), hopes his son will make “friends for life” during his time at university Sam’s rent, at roughly £8,500 for the year, is being paid for by his parents. He is also given a monthly allowance of £250 to support his living costs. Next year, as well as increasing domestic tuition fees, the government is also increasing the caps on maintenance loans – to help students better afford their living costs. Caps on loans are increasing from £10,227 to £10,544 for students living away from the family home outside of London, and from £13,348 to £13,762 for those students living in London. But personal finance expert Martin Lewis says maintenance loans are still not large enough to support students who are unable to access additional help from their parents. Sam’s parents have set up their home as an Airbnb to help Sam and his older sister through university. His dad, David, says they were determined to “find a way” to make it happen. David says he is “a believer in paying the going rate”, as long as students are getting value for money in terms of access to their lecturers and the same extra-curricular opportunities, like trips and placements, that they would have had before Covid. But he says if costs went up further there would have to be a “tough conversation about what we can do” to financially support the children. David says he hopes there will be more value to Sam’s time at university than just a degree. “In terms of the full uni experience, what I’m seeing is massively beneficial for him,” he says. “Sam could come out with a great business degree, and, yes, it will give him a step down that path – but will it define who he is in 10, 15 years? I hope not. “I hope he comes out of it thinking that was a great time in his life, that he met loads of really cool people who are friends for life.” What’s next for universities? The government hopes that increasing tuition fees will put universities on a “firmer financial footing”. Since a ***** in university spending after fees tripled to £9,000 in 2012, they have only increased by £250. That has left universities increasingly reliant on international students, who pay higher fees. But stricter visa rules mean the number of overseas students applying to *** universities is falling. The latest tuition fee increase is also significantly less than the £12,000-£13,000 that universities have argued is sufficient to meet the current cost of teaching. The government previously told universities to get their own finances in order amid calls for potential bailouts and warnings that 40% of universities could be in a financial deficit this year. In general, research by the Higher Education Statistics Agency suggests most graduates can expect to earn more than non-graduates. Moreover, the Save the Student money advice website said the latest rise in tuition fees would make “little difference to overall levels of student debt, and will have no impact whatsoever on the amount a graduate repays each month”. But borrowing more will, inevitably, mean students leave university with more debt. The government’s latest announcement also only stipulates fees and loans in the 2025-26 academic year. Vice-chancellors and students alike will want to know what the government’s plans are beyond that. Universities will hope they can convince the next generation of prospective students that they are still worth the money. The Chiba Lotte Marines, Sasaki’s club in Nippon Professional Baseball, announced early Saturday morning that they will post the 23-year-old right-hander, thus making him available to MLB teams in what is expected to be a wide-open sweepstakes for his services. Because of his age, Sasaki will be considered an international ******** in MLB’s system, meaning that he would make the minimum salary and his bonus will be capped. Every MLB team is assigned a dollar amount to spend on international amateurs and cannot exceed it, although they can trade for some additional space. Teams on the low end are allotted $5.1 million for 2025 and $7.6 million on the high end. Therefore, both Sasaki’s salary and the 20 percent fee that will be paid to the Lotte Marines will be relatively small figures. His fastball was clocked in the triple digits. In a recent analysis, The Athletic’s Eno Sarris noted that even with a slight step back in velocity and results for last season, Sasaki still showed signs of translating his success stateside. Only Juan Soto and Corbin Burnes rank ahead of Sasaki on The Athletic’s free-agent rankings. “If he was someone in the ******** draft, he’d easily be a top-five draft pick,” one high-ranking executive in the sport said. “Probably better.” It’s unclear which international class Sasaki will be a part of. MLB’s 2024 international signing ******* runs until Dec. 15, and the 2025 ******* begins Jan. 15. Clubs are committed to players in both classes already, but Sasaki is a special talent that teams have been preparing to court. It’s unclear exactly when that process will be underway, but once Sasaki is posted, he has 45 days to sign. He is expected to join an MLB team for 2025. The news went out at 1 a.m. on the East Coast of the U.S., which was 3 p.m. in Chiba. While Sasaki’s arrival in MLB this offseason was long speculated, it also seemed possible it might wait a couple of years. Had Chiba Lotte delayed until 2026, when Sasaki was 25, both he and the club could have made considerably more money. Sasaki then would be considered a “foreign professional” in the eyes of MLB’s collective bargaining agreement, and he would not be subject to the international bonus pool. That’s the classification Yamamoto fell under last offseason when he signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers for $325 million. The Dodgers, home to Shohei Ohtani in addition to Yamamoto, have been often linked to Sasaki. The New York Mets and Chicago Cubs have followed him closely as well, among others. Meanwhile, the Yankees and Padres have scouted the Pacific Rim extensively and have been aggressive in that market. NPB players have to play for nine years in the league to become an international free agent and freely sign with an MLB team, without being posted for bidding. Because that wait time is so long, the best ********* players typically arrive in the U.S. via the bidding system. Sasaki pitched for Japan in the 2023 World Baseball Classic and drew attention for hitting triple digits with his fastball. He throws a slider and splitter as well. His durability is likely his largest question mark. Looking to cap a wonderful first full season on the senior tour, 53-year-old Green will lift the Charles Schwab Cup for the season-long points race if he wins the tournament title on Sunday. He boosted his cause by producing the lowest front nine – seven-under 29 – in the tournament’s history. He was at No.6 in the standings going into the event, having posted four runner-up finishes among eight top-10 placings this year, but is still seeking a first win on the tour. The top 36 players on the points list qualified for the event. The Department of Commerce sent a letter to TSMC imposing export restrictions on certain sophisticated chips, of 7 nanometer or more advanced designs, destined for China that power AI accelerator and graphics processing units (GPU), the person said. The U.S. order, which is being reported for the first time, comes just weeks after TSMC notified the Commerce Department that one of its chips had been found in a Huawei AI processor, as Reuters reported last month. Tech research firm Tech Insights had taken apart the product, revealing the TSMC chip and apparent violation of export controls. Huawei, at the center of the U.S. action, is on a restricted trade list, which requires suppliers to obtain licenses to ship any goods or technology to the company. Any license that could aid Huawei’s AI efforts would likely be denied. TSMC suspended shipments to China-based chip designer Sophgo after its chip matched the one found on the Huawei AI processor, sources told Reuters last month. Reuters could not determine how the chip ended up on Huawei’s Ascend 910B, released in 2022, viewed as the most advanced AI chip available from a ******** company. The latest clampdown hits many more companies and will allow the U.S. to assess whether other companies are diverting chips to Huawei for its AI processor. As a result of the letter, TSMC notified affected clients that it was suspending shipments of chips starting Monday, the person said. The Commerce Department declined comment. A spokesperson for TSMC also declined to comment beyond saying it was a “law-abiding company…committed to complying with all applicable rules and regulations, including applicable export controls.” The Commerce Department communication — known as an “is informed” letter — allows the U.S. to bypass lengthy rule-writing processes to quickly impose new licensing requirements on specific companies. Over the past fortnight, dozens of videos – estimates range from 150 to more than 400 – have been leaked of a senior civil ******** having **** in his office and elsewhere with different women. They have flooded social media, shocking and titillating people in the small central ******** country and beyond. Many of the women filmed were wives and relatives of people close to the centre of power. It appears some were aware they were being filmed having **** with Baltasar Ebang Engonga, who is also known as “Bello” because of his good looks. All this is hard to verify as Equatorial Guinea is a highly restricted society where a free press does not exist. But one theory is that the leaks were a way to discredit the man at the centre of the storm. Mr Engonga is a nephew of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema and one of those thought to be hoping to replace him. Obiang is the world’s longest-serving president having been in power since 1979. The 82-year-old has overseen an economic ***** that has turned to bust as a result of the now-dwindling oil reserves. There is a small, extremely wealthy elite, but many of the 1.7 million people in the country live in ********. Obiang’s administration is heavily criticised for its human rights record, including arbitrary killings and ********, according to a US government report. He was the head of the National Financial Investigation Agency, and worked on tackling ******* such as money laundering. But it turned out he himself was under investigation. He was arrested on 25 October accused of embezzling a huge sum of money from state coffers and depositing it in secret accounts in the Cayman Islands. He has not commented on the accusation. Mr Engonga was then taken to the infamous ****** Beach prison in the capital, Malabo, where it is alleged that opponents of the government are subjected to brutal treatment. His phones and computers were seized and a few days later the intimate videos started appearing online. The first reference the BBC has found to them on Facebook is from 28 October on the page of Diario Rombe, a news site run by a journalist in exile in Spain, which said that “social networks exploded with the leaking of explicit images and videos”. A post on X the following day referred to a “monumental scandal shaking the regime” as “pornographic videos flood social media”. AFP Teodoro Obiang Mangue (left) became the country’s vice-president in 2016 But they are believed to have originally appeared one-by-one a few days earlier on Telegram, on one of the platform’s channels known for publishing pornographic images. They were then downloaded on to people’s phones and shared among WhatsApp groups in Equatorial Guinea, where they caused a storm. Mr Engonga was quickly identified along with some of the women in the videos, including relatives of the president and wives to ministers and senior military officials. The government was unable to ignore what was going on and on 30 October Vice-President Teodoro Obiang Mangue (once owner of the Michael Jackson glove) gave telecoms companies 24 hours to come up with ways to stop the spread of the clips. “We cannot continue to watch families fall apart without taking any action,” he wrote on X. “In the meantime, the origin of these publications is being investigated to find the author or authors and make them answer for their actions.” As the computer equipment was in the hands of the security forces, suspicion has fallen on someone there, who, perhaps, sought to trash Mr Engonga’s reputation ahead of a trial. The police have called on women to come forward to open a case against Mr Engonga for the non-consensual sharing of intimate images. One has already announced that she is suing him. What is not clear is why Mr Engonga made the recordings. But activists have put forward what could be other motives behind the explosive *****. As well as being related to the president, Mr Engonga is the son of Baltasar Engonga Edjo’o, the head of the regional economic and monetary union, Cemac, and very influential in the country. “What we are seeing is the end of an era, the end of the current president, and there is a succession [question] and this is the internal fighting we are seeing,” said Equatoguinean activist Nsang Christia Esimi Cruz, now living in London. Speaking to the BBC Focus on ******* podcast, he alleged that Vice-President Obiang was trying to politically eliminate “anyone who could challenge his succession”. There are also frequent accusations of coup plotting, which further fuels paranoia. But Mr Cruz also alleges that the authorities want to use the scandal as an excuse to ****** down on social media, which is how a lot of information about what is really going on in the country gets out. In July, the authorities temporarily suspended the internet after protests broke out on the island of Annobón. For him, the fact that a high-ranking official was having **** outside of marriage was not surprising as it was part of the decadent lifestyle of the country’s elite. The vice-president, who himself has been convicted of *********** in France and has had lavish assets seized in various countries, wants to be seen as the man cracking down on graft and wrong-doing at home. Last year, for example, he ordered the arrest of his half-brother over allegations he sold a plane owned by the state airline. But in this case, despite the vice-president’s efforts to stop the spread of the clips, they continue to be viewed. This week, he tried to appear more resolute calling for the installation of CCTV cameras in government offices “to combat indecent and illicit acts”, the official news agency reported. Saying that the scandal had “denigrated the image of the country” he ordered that any officials found engaging in **** acts at work would be suspended as this was a “flagrant violation of the code of conduct”. He was not wrong that the story has attracted a lot of outside interest. Judging by Google’s data, search enquiries that include the country’s name have shot up since the beginning of this week. On Monday, on X, “Equatorial Guinea” was one of the top trending terms in Kenya, Nigeria and South ******* – surpassing at times interest in the US election. Statistics published by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) reveal that more than two-thirds of adults in England and Wales who left custody without accommodation in the final quarter of 2022 reoffended within a year. Social justice charity Nacro warned the data shows the need for “adequate investment in housing” as the government seeks to reduce the numbers of offenders in prisons. An MoJ spokesperson said the government was “working with partners, including local councils and charities, to avoid anyone being released on to the street.” Rates of reoffending among homeless prison leavers have remained relatively stable over the two-year ******* covered by the quarterly data, which covers 2020 to 2022. While data on reoffending is routinely published by the government, this is the first time it has been broken down by the situations prisoners were released into – revealing the disparities in reoffending among people in different living situations. Previously, the data was only available via Freedom of Information requests. The figures show that between October and December 2022, 67% of adults who were homeless when they left prison committed a further offence within a year. A third of those who were released into settled accommodation went on to reoffend, while 34% of those who moved into probation accommodation reoffended. Of those who were living in temporary accommodation, 45% committed a further offence. PA Media Nacro said reoffending was often driven by homelessness and unemployment The MoJ has also published an analysis of reoffending rates by employment status during the same October to December timeframe. Of those who were in work six weeks after being released from custody, 17% reoffended within a year, compared to 35% of those who were still unemployed. Homeless prison leavers include those rough sleeping, staying in night shelters, campsites or squatting. The data covers those who were released from custody within that 2022 ******* and who were cautioned or convicted for another offence within 12 months. Sarah, whose name has been changed to protect her identity and is in her 50s, was homeless prior to being convicted for her first offence in 1979 and has been in and out of prison and homelessness since. She said that after her initial release from prison, she stayed in a squat. “When I got there, I felt awful, I realised I’d gone right back to the same situation as before I went into prison. I just knew I would end up back in prison – as I would have to do something to eat,” she said. “If I’d have had somewhere to go after prison it would have taken the stress and strain out of worrying where you’re going to sleep.” ‘Vicious cycle’ The government is currently seeking to ease overcrowding in jails in England and Wales through a major review of sentencing and a prison early release scheme. Last week, a man released via the programme warned that ex-prisoners were more likely to reoffend in order to survive without somewhere to live. Nacro CEO Campbell Robb said: “The vicious cycle of reoffending so many prison leavers find themselves trapped in is often driven by homelessness and unemployment.” According to government figures, the cost of reoffending in England and Wales is about £18bn a year. “Put in strictly monetary terms, failing to use evidence-based measures to reduce reoffending is creating a gaping ****** ***** in public finances,” said Mr Robb. “Tackling reoffending with adequate investment in housing and rehabilitation schemes is imperative if the Government wants to commit to creating a more sustainable justice system and in turn a safer society for us all.” The MoJ spokesperson said the figures illustrated “the scale of the prison crisis the new Government inherited.” They added that prisoners at risk of homelessness could be offered up to 12 weeks in temporary housing under a programme which had been rolled out since July 2021. A 10ha sanctuary with three Hindu temples from the 14th century, it is home to more than 1200 long-tailed macaques, one of five monkey species found in Bali. Considered sacred animals and guardian spirits by the Balinese, monkeys symbolise harmony between humans and nature in the Balinese Hindu religion. But with so many people and monkeys in one place, the Ubud Monkey Forest can feel more like an amusement park than a wildlife sanctuary. The former royal garden for the Mengwi Kingdom, it draws a few hundred visitors a day, including Balinese couples who come here for pre-wedding photo shoots. The Department of Commerce sent a letter to TSMC imposing export restrictions on certain sophisticated chips, of 7 nanometer or more advanced designs, destined for China that power AI accelerator and graphics processing units (GPU), the person said. The U.S. order, which is being reported for the first time, comes just weeks after TSMC notified the Commerce Department that one of its chips had been found in a Huawei AI processor, as Reuters reported last month. Tech research firm Tech Insights had taken apart the product, revealing the TSMC chip and apparent violation of export controls. Huawei, at the center of the U.S. action, is on a restricted trade list, which requires suppliers to obtain licenses to ship any goods or technology to the company. Any license that could aid Huawei’s AI efforts would likely be denied. Since, ****** Ops 6 has fast-paced gameplay, even a second can make the difference, and spotting opponents through walls for 1.5 seconds was too powerful. On November 8, the developers rolled out another patch with a second round of fixes and balance to the perk. This time, the duration that enemies were highlighted was reduced from 1.5 seconds to just 0.5 seconds. This was to balance the Recon perk further while preventing players from being unfairly camped at respawn points. This change has made the perk less powerful, allowing players a fairer chance to react and ****** back.
