As you climb up the various ledges of PEAK, you'll eventually come across a jungle biome that spawns an abundance of different foods from bananas to honey, but certain creatures stand in your way. Bees, for example, have become pretty notorious. If you even get close to one of their hives, you'll be chased down by them and they will slowly chip away at your stamina and health, inflicting poison damage. Players have had a pretty hard time losing them due to their speed, though there is a way to deal with them. Somewhat. How to escape Bees in PEAK If you even get close to a hive, bees will begin to chase you in PEAK near instantly. You can use this opportunity to let your friends grab the hive for any food or achievements you are after, but once the bees are chasing you, be prepared to be on the run for a while. When I was testing this, the bees seemed to chase me for a random ******* of time at varying speeds. Sometimes they'd chase me for up to 30 seconds, but they were slow, so I could run away, whereas other times they were insanely fast and lasted for what seemed to be forever. There's no telling which one you will encounter, but it feels like bees are a bit bugged, at least from what I could tell. And even then, it feels like sometimes bees would disappear randomly, too. So, how I deal with them is pretty simple: if one is chasing me, I tend not to climb, as climbing is slow and bees chip away at me while I'm climbing, leading to my death. Instead I run around a large area where possible in circles, keeping my distance until I ever get far enough away from the bees that they give up, or they randomly despawn or get stuck inside a rock due to a glitch (yes, this has happened to me more times than I like to admit.) Once I had a bee follow me for what felt like way too long, only for them to disappear, and when I went back to the hive, there were no bees on it, so I took it and ran on the off chance they'd spawn back. It was a good day. So to sum it all up, if bees chase you, pray you have enough space to run around until they give up and create distance from them to de-aggro. Hope it helps! The best thing about Steam's Next Fests nowadays is that there are so many games. The most terrifying thing about Steam's Next Fests nowadays is that there are so damn many games. It's no surprise then, that according to calculations by developer Chris Hanney and the GameDiscoverCo newsletter, the latest summer Next Fest continued a trend of substantial year-on-year demo number growth. Hanney, a dev on Space Pirate Trainer and Shredders among others, has had a go at pulling the numbers on the numbers of demos uploaded to Steam during each next fest running back to 2019's Game Awards-adjacent first edition. Call of Duty: ****** Ops 7was revealed to the world earlier this month during the Xbox Games Showcase, and while the cinematic trailer didn't give fans any information on the shooter's Multiplayer, Activision has now revealed some interesting new pieces of information surrounding the game's upgraded movement system. The developers of Dune: Awakening have just released a patch in response to player complaints about the game's PvP zones. Folks were annoyed because they kept getting crushed to death by other players piloting an ornithopter (Dune's big flying bug vehicle). It was irksome because it's difficult to damage said vehicle or fight back in any meaningful way. The devs solution is pretty straightforward: "Players no longer receive damage when hit by vehicles". The same patch also addresses respawn times in PvP areas. Read more View the full article

Relics are the potent items that can give your Nightfarer an extra boost on every run of Elden Ring Nightreign. There is also, as it turns out, a limit on just how many you can have stored up in your hideaway. One user on the r/Nightreign subreddit posted an image from their Elden Ring Nightreign game today, with a special message appearing over their attempts to start an expedition. "Cannot launch expedition: Too many relics in possession," read the message. "Please use the relic rite menu to sell off spares." You can't play if you have too many relics byu/Scufozzover1 inNightreign .reddit-embed-wrapper iframe { margin-left: 0 !important; } The user u/Scufozzover1 didn't specify exactly how many they had, only ball-parking an estimate of "upwards of 1000 maybe." It's easy to theorize this might be related to a general 999 item limit, but unless you'd like to grind out that many relics, it's unclear where the limit actually is. There are plenty of reasons to clear out your relic storage, mostly for resources. Though if you're just playing run after run of Elden Ring Nightreign I could see losing track of just how many you've accrued. Comments in the thread have brought up an old critique of Elden Ring Nightreign: the need for relic management. As more relics flood in, it can become a little difficult to keep track of what's what, or adding additional filters that could better sift through the pile. It's already a bit of a hassle for me now, as I've built up a decent stockpile of basic relics, so I can't imagine what it's like for this Redditor and their apparent hundreds upon hundreds of relics. Maybe this won't be an issue for most players now, but as the weeks and months of Nightreign roll on, it might be worth keeping an eye on. At the very least, it's a good reminder to clean out your unused relics every now and then. We’ve got plenty of Nightreign tips and tricks to help you take down all the eight Nightlord Bosses, and if you’re wondering how to unlock the two locked Nightfarer Classes, check out How to Unlock the Revenant and How to Unlock the Duchess, plus How to Change Characters. EA Sports has announced a maintenance on June 18 for multiple football titles, including EA FC 25 and the servers are down for a significant duration. This is the first major maintenance of June, following a minor one in the first half of the month. EA Sports hasn't declared an exact reason behind today's maintenance, which could be related to the upcoming Title Update 16. Once the servers are taken down, all forms of online matchmaking will be temporarily suspended. However, the developers have also announced when the servers will return online. Table of contentsEA FC 25 Server Maintenance schedule (June 18)Which EA FC 25 modes will be unavailable?EA FC 25 Server Maintenance schedule (June 18) The maintenance on June 18 begins at 8:00AM UTC/1:00AM PST/3:00AM CT/4:00AM EST. Matchmaking as been locked 30 minutes prior to the start of the maintenance. Once done, you can't take part in any form of match that requires online connectivity/matchmaking with random strangers. [Hidden Content] If there are no delays, the maintenance will be four hours long. As per the published schedule from EA Sports, the servers should be back up at 12:00PM UTC/5:00AM PST/7:00AM CT/8:00AM EST. Typically, there haven't been any incidents related to unannounced maintenance extensions this year, so we can rule that out for the time being. Which EA FC 25 modes will be unavailable? Any modes with online matchmaking are now disabled. You might still be able to enter modes like Ultimate Team, but you won't be able to start a match. Trying to matchmake will result in an error message, which will remain in place until the server maintenance is complete. You can try out the Career Mode, which lets you play as a manager and player. Certain objectives, like completing matches, will reward you with Seasonal Points in Ultimate Team (and fast-track your Season 8 ladder progression). This mode doesn't require an internet connection, which is perfect for occasions like server maintenance. Once the maintenance is over, you can enjoy modes like Ultimate Team and Online Friendlies without any further disruptions. Patch 6.2 is out now for Total War: Warhammer 3, and it continues the trend we've seen recently of pairing substantial and useful fixes for the strategy game with seemingly niche and (to me) incredibly interesting things, and also has vampire knights with swords in it. The sales bin is bursting this week, and if you listen closely, you might even hear the cling of cartoon loot being pinched under moonlight. From modern epics to reimagined classics, there's a grab bag of deals that stretches across platforms and genres. No matter your console of choice, there’s something here worth adding to cart before the savings vanish like a stealthy pickpocket. This Day in Gaming In retro news, I’m lighting a 34-candle cake for the arcade version of Bonanza Bros., the split-screen stealther I played the pins off of on Mega Drive. This side-on heist ‘em up from 1990 put players in control of Mobo and Robo, two suave, bug-eyed burglars with a knack for lootin’, lockpickin’, and layin’ cops out by violently opening doors into them. Back then, Bonanza Bros. stood out for its co-op gameplay and comical visual style, which blended slapstick with high-stakes thievery. It was part sneaking, part shooter, and entirely charming. The way it merged Metal Gear-style infiltration with arcade-speed reflexes gave it a distinct identity; one that would quietly echo in everything from Sly Cooper to Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine decades later. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is full of amazing original features and unique ideas that make the experience truly one of a kind. But there's one intentionally left-out gameplay feature that I personally wish would be included in an eventual update, despite developers saying it will likely never happen. By design, Clair Obscur wants players to explore each location in its entirety and give you a sense of discovery along the way, and the way it enables that is by not giving players a mini-map to navigate each area.
