  1. June 19, 2025, saw a surprise patch for Marvel Rivals, changing the balance of several characters while Season 2.5 continues. Alongside some nerfs to powerful Team-Ups, some heroes gained important buffs, including one Vanguard who desperately needed one. Now, one of my favorite characters to play in the game has more control over their abilities, allowing them more freedom in chaotic battles. View the full article

  12. Genshin Impact is introducing some notable quality-of-life improvements in Version 5.8, as players will finally be able to automatically adjust their clock in Teyvat to correspond with the currently tracked quest. While Genshin Impact has slowly added quality-of-life changes throughout its history, it feels like the developers have placed an even ******* emphasis on it since the Fontaine era. Notable examples of recent changes include a ******* Original Resin cap, a reduction of Fate Points needed on the Weapon Banner, and the addition of Artifact Loadouts. View the full article

  14. You would think that being able to take on 14 different jobs would be enough to keep most people busy in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, but to Level-5 it seems like that won't be enough. Last month, the developer announced that because the RPG has done so well, they'll be releasing a free update/ bit of DLC called Update the World, and they've now offered a couple of details as to what that'll be. 18. Disney Dreamlight Valley's The Storybook Vale expansion has adorable snippets and companions for you to meet. From small frogs to baby dragons, this critter list certainly takes a reward for some of the cutest video game animals I've ever seen. However, depending on when you log into the game, you'll notice two mysterious critters: the Teal Baby Dragon and ****** Pegasus. How do you find them? What's their favorite meal? Let's dive into how to find Teal Baby Dragons and ****** Pegasus in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Where to find the Teal Dragon and ****** Pegasus in Disney Dreamlight Valley At the time of writing, Gameloft hasn't implemented the Teal Baby Dragon and ****** Pegasus into Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale. They'll be released during the expansion's July 9 update, The Unwritten Realms. Typically, all Baby Dragons appear in Everafter, while Pegasus spawn in Mythopia. You'll unlock these biomes after progressing through The Storybook Vale's questline. However, considering the theme of The Unwritten Realms, this may change. Image via Gameloft The Unwritten Realms is described as a story involving a "strange world beneath the Storybook Vale." While there's little information on what this entails, there's a chance it'll reflect the usual Storybook Vale biomes but feature the Teal Baby Dragon and ****** Pegasus as exclusive companions. An alternative option is that they'll share biomes with a pre-existing companion. For example, the Teal Baby Dragon may appear in The Wild Woods but be much rarer than its blue counterpart. Teal Dragon and ****** Pegasus hangout bonuses During Disney Dreamlight Valley's Mysteries of Skull Rock base game update, animal companion bonuses came along as a side feature, letting you level up your critters and receive special rewards. They also perform activities depending on the critter type. In The Storybook Vale's case, critters pick up Snippets while you're hanging out with them. At least, that's what normally happens. While the ****** Pegasus has this same bonus, the Teal Baby Dragon instead has a "pick up ore" bonus. Right now, it's unknown why that's the case. There's a chance Gameloft will change this to the usual Snippet bonus later. However, there is also a possibility that this is part of The Unwritten Realms' storyline. These two critter types could be especially unique, but only time will tell whether this is the case. At the time of writing, information about Disney Dreamlight Valley's Teal Dragon and ****** Pegasus is limited. We'll continue to update this story as we learn more about their locations, schedules, and potential changes in favorite foods. 19. Dragon Soul is certainly one of the better games available on Roblox, and you can use its official Trello and Discord to stay up to date with all the in-game stuff and events. There's a vast amount of in-game information available on the internet. The title is based on popular anime like Dragon Ball and more. While you can collect information online, the official sources are certainly better. For starters, the information on the official Trello is completely accurate, allowing you to master different aspects of the game. Additionally, there's an active Discord server that you can join to become part of a vibrant community. Table of contentsOfficial Dragon Soul Trello linkOfficial Dragon Soul Discord linkDoes Dragon Soul have a wiki?Official Dragon Soul Trello link The official Trello is maintained by the developers. You'll find different cards available on Trello. Starting from left, the first column lists all the updates released since launch. It's worth noting that some of the recent updates aren't mentioned in this column. You can check out the information surrounding June 14's update from the Roblox platform. Screenshot by Destructoid The second main column from the left is perhaps the most important, as it has three full-fledged guides about all three levels. Finally, you can find more information about bosses and quests in the game. The information on the Trello is read-only. Official Dragon Soul Discord link The official Discord is the best community related to Dragon Soul. You can access various channels that cater to different needs. This is the perfect place to visit to discuss in-game events and learn more about what's coming. Screenshot by Destructoid Unlike Trello, the Discord server allows you to share your expressions and opinions with other members of the community. You can join the server by accepting the invite request and selecting your preferences. Does Dragon Soul have a wiki? As of writing, Dragon Soul doesn't have a wiki, and it's unlikely that it will get one in the future. The post Dragon Soul Trello, Discord, and Wiki links appeared first on Destructoid. 20. If you have PS Plus and are searching for your next rainy-day RPG, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is it. This direct Final Fantasy 7 prequel puts you in the shoes of Zack Fair: the iconic SOLDIER who ties in heavily with the story of FF7 proper. Just keep in mind that you have until July 15 to make your move, as that's when the game will be removed from the PS Plus service. View the full article
  21. Match-3 games are probably the purest out there, at least in terms of genre. They are so instantly understandable by pretty much anyone, no wonder there's a seemingly infinite number of them available on our phones. The issue is that most of them can't match up to the heights of a classic like Bejeweled, though at least every once in a while we get delightful spins on the genre like Spirit Swap. Now, there's a new, quite tiny new kid on the block in the form of Sinister Sodies, a match-3 game where you set out to "purify your carbonated concoction before time runs out." 23. There are hours of optional content included in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and if you're unsure exactly what side content to take on, there are certain things you should make time for before completing the game. Much of the optional content can be completed along the way, but if you happen to miss a few things, it's possible to revisit just about any area in the game later on (with a few exceptions). 24. There are a lot of games out there that mix strategy design with a fantasy aesthetic. From Against the Storm to Songs of Conquest, Warcraft 3 to Age of Wonders 4, this combination of setting and genre has always found an audience. Thrive: Heavy Lies the Crown follows suit, but, as a mix of RTS and city-building, it throws even more ingredients into the mix to make it stand out from the pack. If you want to see how it works for yourself, now's a good time. Thrive has just hit 1.0 on Steam, and, to celebrate the full version's launch, it's heavily discounted for a limited time.
