  1. Which sounds like the more intense experience to you, dear reader - "Butterfly's Guidance" or "Awakened Puppet"? No, this isn't me workshopping titles for my latest range of exotic fragrances. I'm referring to the new easier difficulty modes Neowiz will add to Pinnochio-powered soulslike Lies Of P alongside the game's Overture DLC this summer. The difficulty modes will arrive in a free Lies Of P update. The standard difficulty will be "Legendary Stalker", which honestly I think is a bit of a letdown, after "Butterfly's Guidance" and "Awakened Puppet". It barely sounds like an exotic fragrance at all. Possibly you could peddle it as some kind of feline musk. Read more View the full article

  3. The early patch notes for BO6 Zombies Season 4 have revealed some exciting content coming up for the players, and the Grief mode is making its return. This unique mode is pretty different from other LTMs from previous seasons. It's a blend of PvEvP experience where players participate as teams and get involved in indirect combat. This guide will provide you with all the vital information required for you to master the upcoming mode in Season 4. Table of contentsHow will the Grief mode work in BO6 Zombies?BO6 Zombies Season 4 Grief arena explainedWhat is Grief in BO6 Zombies Season 4All Grief arenas in BO6 Zombies Season 4How will the Grief mode work in BO6 Zombies? The Grief mode is a 4v4 competitive mode with the objective for teams to outlast their opponents. The mode will be available on all five Zombies maps, and players won't be directly contesting against one another. Instead, they will have to strategically capture different zones on the map, which will help them to outwit and outlast their opposition. The two teams will be representing Director Richtofen and S.A.M., respectively, and they will be guided accordingly. Both teams will be dropped on either side of the same Grief Arena. Team members won't be able to eliminate each other, but they can obstruct the opponents by melee attacks, body blocks, or more. Screenshot via Activision BO6 Zombies Season 4 Grief arena explained The Grief Arena will be an incredibly chaotic place for all players, as it will be filled with hordes of undead. The arena has an open environment in Season 4, and the required doors will be marked for the players to use. Downed players can be revived by their allies, but the revivals can be delayed with different tactics. Any eliminated enemies will be revived automatically at the end of the third round. Combat will take place across multiple rounds, and players can join in before Round 10. There will be some similarities with the standard Zombies modes, as players will come across Essence and Salvage. However, Salvage belongs only to those who manage to pick it up first. Once a Capture Zone appears on the map, players will have to stand on it to occupy it. Once done, it will apply a random debuff on the enemy, causing grief in the process. This job isn't going to be easy with zombies and your enemies trying to disrupt your attempts at every possible stage. What is Grief in BO6 Zombies Season 4 Screenshot via Activision Once you capture a zone, it will apply certain debuffs to your enemies. Here are all the possible griefs that will be available in the mode. Weapon Nerf: Enemies do reduced damage to zombies.Ammo Drain: All weapons will receive an ammo drain, with shells being removed consistently while the grief is live.Zombie Ambush: Summons an Elite Zombie that tries to eliminate the rival team.Weapon Carousel: Rival team players will have their weapons swapped randomly.Frozen: Slows down the enemy team players, and also applies frost and ice coating on the characters. All Grief arenas in BO6 Zombies Season 4 11 Grief Arenas will be added to the game at the launch of Season 4. 4. Healweed and Vitalweed are two important resources in Fantasy Life i that will need to be found quite early in the game. Once you reach the main island, you can find both of these items relatively easily. However, the items are not marked on the map, which makes it slightly confusing for the players. The job gets easier if you know where you need to look. The two shrubs have similar appearances, but you can tell which one is which. How to find Healweed in Fantasy Life i Healweed is pretty easy to get. Once you reach the main island in Fantasy Life i, look out for green-colored weeds that can typically be found in grassy areas. I have found them all over Eternia Village and Capital of Mysteria, so they're not that hard to get. They're also available in Faraway Island and Ginormosia once you get access to those regions. Picking up the item also doesn't require any kind of special equipment. Just get close to the plant, and you can pick it up to add to the inventory. This particular alchemy material is also required to complete the "A Painkilling Herb" request. The request requires you to provide three Healweed in exchange for three SP Potions and 400 Dosh. Both resources have plenty of use in the long run, so make sure to collect as much Healweed as possible. Screenshot by Destructoid How to find Vitalweed in Fantasy Life i Vitalweed, just like Healweed, can be found all over the main islands. I have found it to be more common in Capital of Mysteria compared to Eternia Village, and they typically grow more near the edges. They have a duller color, but are larger than Healweed (they have a blue color in inventory, but greener appearance in the wild). You can buy Healweed and Vitalweed from in-game stores as well. Both of these items cost 30 Dosh, so they're not that expensive. If you require them in large amounts, it's better just to spend your Dosh. Both items are required later in Alchemy to make healing items, so it's always beneficial to have them in your inventory. 5. Destructoid, is it just me, or are there way too many MMOs launching next month than there should be? As it feels like I look over the already busy June calendar of releases, such as the Switch 2, there are a handful of new MMOs launching that I thought were possible. I've been looking over the calendar, and three already have struck me as big MMOs all trying to gain a large, fledgling community at the same time while competing with other big June releases. It feels a bit overwhelming if I'm honest. [Hidden Content] To start, we have Dune: Awakening, which will have delayed early access starting June 5. It recently had a small beta that left many players concerned about the upcoming release, but it's still a big MMO based on a large IP that's launching at the same time the Switch 2 and Deltarune come out. [Hidden Content] Following that, we have the indie MMO Bitcraft, which looks like if you took a basic survival crafting game and gave it Runescape-like elements with the freedom of Minecraft where players can build out towns and empires across the continent with their friends or clans. [Hidden Content] Then we have Chrono Odyssey, an MMORPG that caught me off guard, and that is testing its world for new players next month with a CBT. It looks pretty breathtaking, even if I don't have a clue what it's about. Not to mention, we also have Palia and other MMOs constantly churning out updates, new quests, it feels a bit overwhelming to have all these big time sinks launch at the same time, and I feel like I'm missing a couple smaller ones that I'll likely remember the moment I publish this article. Doesn't it feel like a bit too much? Maybe the MMOs will pull a New World and flop after the first month, but it does all feel a bit overwhelming as an MMO fan trying to decide what I want to invest in. I guess I'll do what I usually do and wait to see which game is best designed for blacksmithing. I'm all about making those profits selling crafted gear, after all! 10. The Steam trailer for open world RPG Dreamspring contains: shooting spiders with a revolver. Hanging out near a green ocean. Fighting green skeletons. Most curiously, it features an armoured knight convulsing on a bed as if being shocked, from the inside, by some sort of magical electricity disease. Did this knight eat an entire pack of bad batteries? Do batteries even exist in this world, described as "a realm in ruins…beneath a twilight sky". It's a damn hell **** **** mystery, and mystery is exactly what I want from a game that lists both Morrowind and King's Field as influences. Read more View the full article

It's the spiritual home of drifting, and the country has produced some of the most desirable cars for drift tuners and enthusiasts. 14. Dandelion puffs and cotton and among the most important resources you'll get your hands on in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time's early game. Although you'll find more advanced materials later, dandelion initially serves as a crucial component for armor and weapon crafting. Table of contentsHow to make Dandelion Cotton in Fantasy Life iWhere to find Dandelion Puff in Fantasy Life iHow to use Dandelion Cotton in Fantasy Life iHow to make Dandelion Cotton in Fantasy Life i Making Dandelion Cotton requires starting or changing to the Tailor Life. If you didn't start as a tailor, you can change your Life through the Guild Office shortly after advancing partway through Fantasy Life i's Chapter One storyline. Once you become a tailor, you can make one Dandelion Cotton for every three Dandelion Puffs you have on hand. Screenshot by Destructoid Alternatively, you can purchase some from the Eternia Village General Store for 80 Dosh. Although it's relatively inexpensive in small amounts, buying dozens or hundreds of this resource will quickly eat up your cash. Where to find Dandelion Puff in Fantasy Life i Creating Dandelion Cotton requires getting your hands on Dandelion Puffs. You can purchase this resource from the general store for 30 Dosh per item or harvest it in the wild around Eternia Village. In particular, you're looking for small plants with a white puffball on top. Screenshot by Destructoid Although these aren't guaranteed to give you Dandelion Puffs every time you forage them, the odds are much higher than with other plant types. Similarly, harvest other plants usually gives you various weeds and flowers rather than Dandelion Puffs. How to use Dandelion Cotton in Fantasy Life i Dandelion Cotton is a crucial resource in the Tailor and Blacksmith Lives. In particular, you'll need it to make the following armor sets, among others: Hunter's SetMagician's SetWoodcutter's SetCook's SetBlacksmith's SetLeather Armor Set Many early game Life armor sets will need Dandelion Cotton in some capacity. Even if you upgrade them, they'll often have Dandelion Cotton and other required ingredients. Having some on hand at all times will help you be prepared for anything. You'll also often use Woven Straw Fabric, Dandelion Cotton, and other similar materials for creating decorations as a Tailor. At first, you'll primarily make rugs and carpets, with additional options available as you progress through your playthrough. That way, if you prefer customizing a house over adventures in the wild, you'll at least know to have this material readily available. 15. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered took everyone by surprise when it was first announced - well, aside from those constantly online - especially considering it was shadow dropped. However, that didn't stop it from reaching number one in the charts and having a staggeringly high player count for any game, let alone a single-player title. You would expect, then, of the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people playing Oblivion Remastered, that at least the majority of them would have beaten the game's campaign. Right? 20. Borderlands 4 has made a splash this year with a very in-depth State of Play and a number of key details being drip-fed by its developer, Gearbox Software. There's good reason to believe it could be one of the biggest games of the year, especially for fans of the series. It is one of the few triple-A first-person shooters releasing in 2025, that we know about, at least, outside of Xbox's The Outer Worlds 2, so that's pretty important for those who feel abandoned among the swathe of excellent RPGs, third-person adventures, and turn-based titles like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
