As seen in a newly shared fan discovery, players have been completing one of Genshin Impact’s most heart-pounding and tense missions in the wrong way. Curiously enough, it is one of the first quests that players embark on when following the main campaign. The popular action RPG was released by HoYoverse back in 2020 and, since then, its contents have expanded significantly. For veteran players, the first onboarding missions in the region of Mondstadt may have even been forgotten, considering how long ago they were first played – and, potentially, how little of an impact they left. After losing an early game in the series, T1 swept 3-1 Hanwa Life Esports to secure their spot at this year’s Mid-Season Invitational. With this win, Faker has qualified for his 16th LCK finale where he and his team will go up against Gen.G. HLE looked to repeat their 3-0 performance earlier in the LCK playoffs with their early game lane swap in game one, which put T1 Zeus’ Twisted Fate on the back foot in the top lane. However, the team brushed through the shenanigans and got a sizeable lead in the match leading to the mid game, only for HLE to pull a rabbit out of their hat by securing the Elder dragon in the match, securing the opener soon thereafter. The latest update to hit Stardew Valley saw some significant changes, but one character's dialogue updates made their story even sadder than before. Relationships are a major part of playing Stardew Valley and, for some players, it's one of the most interesting parts of the game. Choosing who to marry can be a game changer, especially when it can result in some NPCs holding grudges or becoming upset at the player. In-game relationships can even turn Stardew Valley into a dramatic soap opera, where some characters won't acknowledge in-game marriages, resulting in some very awkward encounters. Dragon's Dogma 2 is one of the best games of the year. An open world fantasy that combines the exploration of a game like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with a much milder form of Elden Ring and Dark Souls' unforgiving structure, Capcom's latest is an absorbing and unique spin on the action-adventure genre that rewards meeting its challenges and particular design ethos on its own terms. That said, a large number of players have been frustrated with the game's implementation of fast travel, which makes a recent mod that addresses that issue a welcome find. Fortnite’s latest collaboration with Avatar: The Last Airbender started from rock bottom this weekend after developers were forced to vault the Mythic Earthbending items in the game for a short while due to an “unknown issue,” leaving players speculating on the cause. The Earthbending Mythic was “vaulted” (removed from the game) temporarily on April 12 according to Fortnite content creator iFireMonkey on X (formerly Twitter). While there is no official word from developers on why the Earthbending Mythic was vaulted for a few hours, players on the game’s subreddit speculated on various reasons such as the Mythic ability’s on-hit accuracy. “[The] projectile literally never ‘hit’ when it landed on the ******: Maybe once in a lifetime,” one player said. Another player said the Earthbending ability “covered up your visibility” making it ******* to aim. View the full article
Counter-Strike 2 players fed up with the imbalance behind the FPS’ competitive economy system have made suggestions on how Valve should approach fixing the issue that has seen CT sides crumble and T sides reign supreme. T-side round wins in the pro scene have grown somewhat since the shift from CS:GO, but the effects have been felt much more on specific maps. Across the board, T-side wins have closed the gap from 48.6 to 49.6 percent according to HLTV. While most maps saw only a slight boost to Ts, Ancient (3.8 percent), ***** (1.6 percent), and Vertigo (1.3 percent) were the biggest movers. The leading cause, many believe, is the shift to the shorter MR12 format thus punishing CTs who have to spend more for their main rifles and for defuse kits. View the full article
Helldivers 2 players hungry to pick and choose which armor and abilities they wield in combat might go starving soon, as Arrowhead Studios chief executive Johan Pilestedt confirmed today the studio is “not doing transmog,” much to the community’s chagrin. Pilestedt stated transmog was not something the devs were considering adding to Helldivers 2 in an April 12 reply on X (formerly Twitter) to a player suggesting the cosmetic feature. Pilestedt was quick to ****** down any ideas of a cosmetic armor system where you replace the look of your outfit but keep its original abilities. “Equipment looks different because it has different effects,” the CEO explained, “Swapping one for the other is like having an apple that tastes like bacon or the other way around.” The response left no room for interpretation: Helldivers 2 has absolutely zero plans to allow players to look how they want, and the studio intends to keep it that way.
