Warner Bros. Games has released a new MultiVersus cinematic trailer revealing The Joker as the latest playable character to join the upcoming free-to-play platform fighter. The character will be voiced by actor Mark Hamill, who previously played the iconic madman in the Batman: Arkham video game series and Batman: The Animated Series before retiring from his role as the DC Super-Villain. A new report states the Perfect Dark reboot is again experiencing development issues, with sources going so far as to state the game is in a “very rough state.” This is according to folks familiar with the matter, who told Giant Bombcast’s Jeff Grubb that things aren’t going according to plan with the PC and Xbox Series X/S game. Sony has backed down from its requirement that Helldivers 2 players on PC link the game with a PlayStation Network account, but the company needs to learn the right lesson from this and stop attempting to implement anti-consumer policies in the first place. I spent this morning being pseudo-profound about Animal Well and pseudo-elegaic about Tango Gameworks, so now it's time to get back to the Real Business - being a pseud on the subject of videogame **** balancing. The game in question is cheery co-op shooter Helldivers 2, over which Aunty Sony recently upended a can of furious worms by abruptly insisting that Steam players have a PSN account for security reasons and so, blocking players in regions where PSN isn't available. Sony have subsequently walked back the requirement following a backlash of truly hellish proportions, though I understand that the game ******** unavailable on Steam in certain regions. Originally released almost five years ago, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is continuing to receive new content via updates. The newest update introduces two new new free game modes, a free Shantae cosmetic pack, and three premium DLC packs. This new update is available today on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
