Developer Mob Entertainment says it struck a deal with the entertainment company Legendary after fielding “several competitive offers.” Transformers producer Don Murphy and filmmaker Susan Montford will develop and produce the adaptation. After Microsoft unexpectedly announced it closed Hi-Fi Rush developer Tango Gameworks, some wondered whether the previously announced physical version of the game would ever see the light of day. But don't worry — despite Tango Gameworks' closure, Limited Run Games is still planning to release a physical edition of the studio's final project. Limited Run Games' official X/Twitter account replied to one comment that suggested that the company would not move forward with a physical release of Hi-Fi Rush due to Tango Gamesworks' closure. Limited Run responded that this was not the case and that a physical release "is a go," but no further information, such as a release date, was disclosed. Did we forget it, though? Limited Run's confirmation comes as Microsoft has been under scrutiny for closing four Bethesda Studios, including Tango Gameworks and Redfall developer Arkane Austin. Following the news, reports have emerged with new details, such as Tango Gameworks pitching a sequel to Hi-Fi Rush before its closure, as well as information that in a town hall meeting held this week, Xbox executive Matt ****** reportedly told staff that smaller games like Hi-Fi Rush are important, despite it closing the studio just a day prior. Aside from Tango's closure, Hi-Fi Rush's physical edition is important for another reason: the ongoing discussion of the gaming industry's push further into digital. Despite Xbox boss Phil Spencer claiming that he is still "supportive" of physical media, leaked documents noted that an updated Xbox Series X console did not show a disc drive visible on the device. Another factor to consider is that Hi-Fi Rush uses copyrighted music. Fallout 4 is littered with settlements for the Sole Survivor to both liberate and protect and while some of them can be rather challenging, one of the most disappointingly simple just became a whole lot more interesting. After joining forces with Preston Garvey and the Minutemen, players will be sent all over the Commonwealth to help people in need as they attempt to reform society. Sunshine Tidings Co-Op, a fairly large settlement that's been overrun by Feral Ghouls, is a little disappointing given the dullness of the encounter, but a new mod aims to fix that. Pro players and the casual community are often at odds in Apex Legends. It’s difficult for Respawn to make any change in the game without one group claiming the devs are catering to the other. But season 21’s Broken Moon update looks like it’s struck a magical balance. The Broken Moon of season 21 is worlds apart from how the map initially launched back in season 15. The middle of the map has been completely altered to remove the deathtrap that was Promenade, replaced by the massive Quarantine Zone POI and filled with several new rotations into the central POI. There are also fewer zip rails going toward the center of the map, more mini-POIs and structures in rotational paths for players to loot and find cover, more loot overall, new and moved full-sized POIs, and even a new skybox and decorative terrain. Students at Taiwan's Tunghai University have created one of the creepier campus legends. Dubbed 'The Bridge Curse,' Tunghai attendees claim that the ghost of a young woman haunts a bridge, waiting for an extra step on the staircase leading up to it to appear at midnight and asking those who pass by her for the time. Naturally, given how widespread this story has become, it's gone on to inspire viral stunts, a movie, and a spin off videogame based on that film called The Bridge Curse Road to Salvation. Paradox Interactive is responsible for some of the best strategy games ever made.
