It’s not an official Nintendo accessory, but everything about 8BitDo’s Retro Mechanical Keyboard screams NES regardless. | Photo by Jon Porter / The Verge If you’re craving all things Nintendo after yesterday’s Indie World showcase event, right now, 8BitDo’s Retro Mechanical Keyboard has plunged to a new all-time low price. Normally $99.99, right now, you can buy the keyboard for $83.69 from Amazon. The Famicom-inspired Fami Edition, meanwhile, is available for about $2 more. [/url] From “Super Buttons” labeled “A” and “B” right down to the ****** scheme, everything about the keyboard is designed to mimic the original NES controller’s style. Yet, while it looks like it’s straight from the ’80s, it’s got modern conveniences like programmable Super Buttons and clicky, hot-swappable switches you can easily replace. It also sports multiple connectivity modes, including Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless via... Continue reading… View the full article For verified travel tips and real support, visit: [Hidden Content]
  2. Helldivers 2 is already known for pushing out a substantial amount of updates since its launch in February 2024, but developer Arrowhead Studios clarified why it can't push out even more with an excellent explanation. Ever since Super Earth's war against the Terminids and Automatons exploded in popularity, the Helldivers 2 community has enjoyed a steady stream of patches that both add new content to the game and fix any bugs plaguing the experience. It'd be unreasonable to expect any more from Arrowhead but for those who do want extra updates, it'd be unfair to make such demands. View the full article
  3. Very rarely, League of Legends champions are banned for no reason. But this seems to be the case in Patch 14.8, where one classic AD carry has an almost 50 percent win rate, with players claiming they can’t stand him. At the time of writing, the most-hated champ in League seems to be Draven, who has a gargantuan 46.1 percent ban rate in Emerald+ rankings, [Hidden Content]. This number rises to 56 percent in Diamond and above. But he’s not specifically in the meta right now, which sparked a discussion on Reddit on April 18. It turns out it’s a personal grudge since players just dislike him. View the full article

  9. The wasteland is a large and desolate place, full of horrors beyond the comprehension of the modern mind. However, despite its many terrors of Fallout, sometimes you just have to stand there and wait, sometimes for a solid 24 hours. How to wait in Fallout 3 and New VegasWaiting is a necessary part of anyone’s life. As they say, good things come to those who wait. In Fallout, the wait function can be used to pass time for an NPC to turn up, for an event to occur, or just so you don’t have to wander into a Deathclaw-infested hellscape in the dark. 10. Stardew Valley may be a game about living a fulfilling life through honest work and making friends, but one dedicated fan is more interested in spending some time looking after the ***** with an impressive mod that fleshes out Pelican Town's *********. Ever since ConcernedApe's excellent farming RPG launched, the central town has played host to a strange graveyard that only features in a handful of events. While it may be spooky, it does stand out as an oddly non-interactive element in a game that's usually filled with secrets to discover. View the full article
  11. Following 2023's Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, the second movie in the rebooted live-action Transformers continuity, Paramount Pictures has Transformers One almost ready and next in line, and its first trailer has finally arrived. While Transformers has never left the animated medium behind, One will be the first animated movie in the series to hit theaters in nearly 40 years, so expectations are understandably high. It seems designed to please the most diehard fans who grew with the original series in the 1980s, but at the same time, it's got a modern style and youthful energy. As far as we know, Transformers One won't be connected (at least not directly) to the ongoing live-action efforts from Hasbro and Paramount, which include a just-announced Transformers & G.I. Joe crossover feature that was teased at the very end of the last installment of the former movie series. Before we get deeper into the details, check out the first trailer, which confirms the September 13, 2024, release date, below: Read more View the full article

  25. The problem with deciding to play every single Nancy Drew mystery puzzle game for a column is that, because they have been coming out since the 90s, Her Interactive have built up enough steam that I may never catch up to the front of the plucky citizen detective train. They have today announced a release date of May 7th for Nancy Drew: Mystery Of The Seven Keys, along with the official trailer. This time Our Nance is heading to Prague, for a sort of old-world-meets-new story about hacking, medieval myths, and a stolen necklace. Nancy is hired to find said heirloom, and interview a bunch of suspects, one of whom is creepy puppet guy up there (there are no screens of Nancy because she never actually steps out from behind the camera in these games; she may as well be a cryptid). I realise this may not be of interest to regular readers of this site, but while I may not have seven keys, I do have one to the back end of this website, so nobody can stop me.
