  1. One of the most important items in Phasmophobia’s Blood Moon event is the mysterious Totems that can be found throughout it. If you want to make progress towards claiming event rewards, you need to know how to find them. Even the smallest maps are still pretty massive and tricky to navigate which makes tracking down Totems a pretty daunting task. Earing the event rewards is a community task, so to ensure you’re able to do your part, you need to know how to find Totems for the Blood Moon event in Phasmophobia. View the full article
  2. Magic users in Baldur's Gate 3 are spoiled for choice when it comes to spells, with all manner of utility and damage-dealing sorcery at their fingertips. Some of the most useful and formidable spells found in BG3 require concentration, which means committing to using them for multiple turns in combat. But with spells covering everything from debuffing the ****** to powerful crowd control, there are a few that are always worth keeping prepared. 3. Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6's Zombies mode features yet another Easter egg song for players to discover as they track down a collection of Mr Peaks-inspired headsets across the Terminus map. With three in total, you'll need to do some careful maneuvering to pick up each one. Doing so will effectively unlock Kevin Sherwood's song, "Can You Hear Me Come In." View the full article
  4. Red ***** Redemption 2 is one of the greatest games of recent times and it was a huge relief when it made the leap from consoles to PC just a year after its initial release (unlike its predecessor). Although many gamers will have already added it to their Steam library, if you haven't, now would be a good time to do so, as it's 67% off in the Humble Bundle Halloween Festival *****, bringing it down to its lowest price ever. 6. The great thing about Skyrim is that, if you don't like Skyrim, by this point you can make it into pretty much anything else. The game now has a decent claim to be the most-modded of all time, with over 170,000 mods listed across the basic and Special Edition on Nexus Mods. Whether you fancy recreating World War 2 in Tamriel, guilt-tripping yourself over NPC deaths, or just chilling while the game plays itself, there's a good chance someone's way ahead of you... 8. Dragon Age: Inquisition might have been a GOTY-contender, but it doesn't exactly have a glowing reputation with fans. And in the last decade, BioWare's reputation has dwindled with Mass Effect: Andromeda and... Anthem. View the full article
  9. Dragon Age: The Veilguard features one of the most intricate, interesting, and exciting skill systems I’ve seen deployed in an action-driven RPG in years. Its character progression threads the needle better than most of its rivals, offering up a depth of progression with game-breaking potential that’s meant to evoke the feeling of the enormous options found in the crunchy numbers-led ‘CRPGs’ of old. 10. It’s all smiles until your campsite’s owner doesn’t transfer you over and you get deleted. | Photo by Amelia Holowaty Krales / The Verge The final, microtransaction-free version of Animal Crossing mobile is coming to iOS and Android on December 3rd. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is set to replace the existing “free-to-start” version of Pocket Camp that first launched in 2017. The complete version will cost $9.99 in the US at first, but once January 30th at 10PM PT rolls around it will cost twice as much at $19.99. Existing Pocket Camp players who want to port their game data over will have until June 1st, 2025 to do so, via a linked Nintendo account. The original app’s service will cease on November 28th at 7AM PT, so it seems anyone on the fence needs to have their save data linked and prepped for transfer before that. Nintendo has spelled out some of these... Continue reading… View the full article
  11. Despite being the fourth entry in the series, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is surprisingly approachable for new players, while still providing plenty to get excited about for those of us who have long held a fascination with the lore in this expansive universe. Developed by BioWare and published by EA, the single-player fantasy RPG offers everyone a chance to spend many hours as a hero in the world of Thedas. Dragon Age has always been known for having strong characters, whether a companion with a full story arc of their own, or simply a blacksmith in one of the towns. Happily, The Veilguard continues to provide this deeply immersive quality. View the full article
  12. If there’s one thing I’d like to get across about my time with Dragon Age: The Veilguard - perhaps a surprise given Bioware’s recent history, Anthem, and some of the early marketing for this game - it’s that in my 50 hour return to Thedas, I very rarely felt I was playing something cynical. 16. With its simple rules, take-that player interaction, and strong theming, Gay Sauna would fall into the 'family board game' category were it not for the 18+ age recommendation on the box. That comes 100% from the theme: in Gay Sauna, each player is a patron at a wet and wild gay cruising spot, competing with their buddies to land the most hookups before the lights come on and the night ends. Speculation surrounding new Lenovo Legion Go models has been bubbling away over the past few weeks, and Lenovo just poured a ton of gasoline onto the ***** as it just dropped the price of the current Legion Go to under $500 for the first time. 24. In case you don't know the headline reference, Orpheus was a mythical Greek musician who famously descended to the underworld to rescue his snake-bitten lover, Eurydice. The underworld's rulers, Hades and Persephone, were massively bummed out by Orpheus's emo lyre-playing, and swiftly agreed to let him lead Eurydice's soul upward to the waking world, with the extremely simple proviso that he not look back at her till they're both on the surface. Being a love-****** spannerhead, however, Orpheus couldn't resist a quick peek at Eurydice after crossing the threshold - and the result is a timeless moral about human frailty and the specific truism that you should absolutely never date musicians, which *********** developers Oppolyon Studios have totally ignored in their otherwise-redolent game about kicking your brother's soul out of *****.
