I had gotten Project Zomboid for a friend as a gift, as he'd always wanted to try the game but hadn't bitten the bullet to buy it. Teaching him the ropes felt good, like a grizzled post-apocalyptic survivor (with a mean silver beard) teaching someone who recently emerged from a coma about the new rules dictating the ravaged landscape. Are you trying to be a plant parent in Enshrouded? You’re going to need Farm Soil for the job—but first, you need plenty of Bonemeal. This ingredient is used in several crafting projects, but the most common is for farming recipes. Unlike other resources, like Stinging Nettle or Flax, Bonemeal can’t just be found out in the wilderness around Embervale. If you’re lucky, you might find it by destroying random objects in barns and houses, but that’s an inefficient way to farm it.
