Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 24. It’s a turn-based RPG, but it also incorporates real-time mechanics sort of like the Mario RPG series. It’s set in a dark fantasy world in which, once a year, a powerful being called the Paintress wakes and paints a number on her monolith. When she does, everyone of that age vanishes from the earth. As the game kicks off, the Paintress is going to wake soon and paint the number 33. You plays as Expedition 33, a group of 33-year-olds who plan to kill the Paintress. The combat sounds like a real selling point for the game. It’s turn-based, but you do a lot of other things besides choosing attacks for your expeditioners. You can dodge, parry, and counter incoming attacks. You can chain combos together by pressing buttons in a rhythm, and you can use a free-aim system to target enemy weak points. It looks pretty cool. A new League of Legends skin, Quantum Galaxy Zed, has been announced by Riot Games and is set to drop later this month. However, players are skeptical of the skin’s quality and potential price, and have been expressing their dissatisfaction again at Riot’s new monetization policies in League. Riot announced the skin on social media on Feb. 4, and the post immediately drew a ton of negative attention from League players disgruntled and angry at Riot’s approach to monetization in season 2025. One player on Reddit reacted sharply, saying they would bet the skin is going to be another “giga expensive” cosmetic in line with some other recent releases. Another said how “GTA 6 will cost less than this skin,” and warned players to “keep that in mind” before placing a purchase. The comments on the Instagram post fared no better, though over there players primarily complained about the removal of Hextech Chests from League, with one even stating that Wild Rift (the mobile League game) still has them. Blue Lock: Rivals Flow Tier List Image via TierMaker Dribbler and Prodigy are the best offensive flows in Blue Lock: Rivals because of the increased shot power, speed, and curved shots or extended dribbles they give. Snake is the best defensive flow, and it is best paired with the Aiku style. Awakened Genius is great for all positions because it gives you bonuses of several other flows. ****** Wings is basically made to be paired up with Shidou style. Crow, Wildcard, Monster, and Puzzle are great on both ends. They let you start counter-attacks, and if you get to the opponent's penalty area first or use one of the pro moves, you are almost guaranteed to score. Gale Burst is a weaker variant of DW that is useful for all styles and positions. King's Instinct is excellent for midfielders who like to break the opponent's attacks with precise tackles and then start counters with long ******. Ice is lackluster unless you pair it up with the Sae style. Genius, while it doesn't grant you any buffs, it lets the rest of your team use their flows for longer, and that can decide close matches. It requires only about 40% of your flow bar to be used while granting the rest of your team around 120% in total. Having cards with two good PlayStyles+ is pretty important, which begs the question about why EA Sports has released this card at all. The only viable option with this card is to complete the SBC, and hope for a future evolution which allows you to improve its stats and playstyles.
