Valve’s Steam Machine could cost around $700, according to an analysis of its likely manufacturing cost. Steam Machine was announced earlier this month with a 2026 launch window and no official pricing details. However, Valve has said that, “if you build a PC from parts and get to basically the same level of performance, that’s the general price window that we aim to be at.” In a new video, Linus Tech Tips has taken on that challenge, building a PC with component specs similar to Valve’s device and using it to estimate how much the Steam Machine could retail for when it releases next year. World of Warcraft Midnight is pulling out the rug from combat addons, as Blizzard dramatically shakes up what information mod creators are allowed to access and work with. Healing in Soulframe might seem relatively insignificant when you're just getting started, but it will gradually gain its importance as you start getting deeper into the game. The first set of enemies is pretty easy to defeat, and they die relatively easily. The latter set of quests will introduce you to more difficult opponents that don't die so easily. Moreover, you'll lose at least some amount of your health while attempting to defeat them. Healing yourself will ensure that you don't die and can continue completing the missions to earn rewards and unlock the endgame activities. Best way to heal in Soulframe There's more than one way to heal yourself in Soulframe. If you select Spirit at the start of the game, healing will be easier. However, the standard way of obtaining heals is by using Healing Potions. You'll have five healing potions available by default (applicable for all three starter pacts), and you can press the H button to heal yourself. Image via Digital Extremes The best way to get Healing potions is by looting chests. You can also gain potions by defeating enemies. They drop at random, so make sure to ration the potions properly. In simple words, don't take unnecessary damage from enemies, and try to block as many attacks as possible. If you pledged to Spirit at the start of the game, you'll belong to the Oscelda Pact. The first spell you get from joining this pack allows you to heal yourself over time. This spell tends to be so powerful that you'll hardly have to depend on potions. While other pacts do have healing spells that you can unlock over time, this unique beginner spell is exclusively available for the Oscelda Pact. How to Smite Heal in Soulframe While this is a more advanced method of healing, you can enable it via Pact Arts. Every pact can unlock Sympathy Art. Once unlocked, Sympathy Art will allow you to heal yourself with a successful Smite Attack. You'll want to use weapons that have a high Smite chance (to trigger the Spite Attacks more frequently). You can enhance your healing Smite Attacks by using a Deer Totem in the weapon's Utility Slot. Either methods work well, but you'll have to play Soulframe Preludes for at least a few hours before you get to use them. The post How to heal in Soulframe appeared first on Destructoid. Marvel Cosmic Invasion is coming to PC and consoles on the first day of December, and it could be an exciting release for superhero fans and gamers alike. Developed by Tribute Games, Marvel Cosmic Invasion is based on the lines of old arcade beat 'em ups. This guide will help you keep track of when the game goes live, so that you can jump right in after the launch. Marvel Cosmic Invasion release countdown Marvel Cosmic Invasion will release globally on Dec. 1, and it will be available on both PC and consoles. The following countdown will expire once the game goes live on all platforms. [hurrytimer id="1148259"] The countdown is based on the following timings. 8am PST10am CST11am EST4pm UTC5pm CEST The release countdown applies to players on both PC and consoles. Since there's no regional launch, you can't use the New Zealand trick on consoles. This trick allows you to get extra hours of gameplay by changing the region of your consoles. However, the method only works if a game follows a regional launch schedule (unlike Marvel Cosmic Invasion). While the game launches on Dec. 1, you can only wishlist it as of writing. There's no form of early or advanced access that allows you to play early. If you're desperate to play, a free demo is available for PC players on Steam. The demo might not offer the full game or all the heroes, but it gives you an early taste of what's on offer. You can check it out to ensure that the game runs smoothly on your system, or if you're interested in the gameplay. The full version will feature 15 heroes and iconic areas from the comics for you to explore. With single play and co-op, you can choose to play how you want.
