The Persona 5 spin-off hits PC and mobile devices on June 26, 2025, and brings with it even more of the series’ stylish turn-based combat and an entirely new cast of Phantom Thieves. Developed as a collaboration between Atlus’ P-Studio and ******** developer ****** Wing Games, Persona 5: The Phantom X is a mobile-focused title that sends players back to the world of Persona 5, albeit as a new character and under slightly different circumstances. In it, players control Wonder, a second-year high school student at Kokatsu Academy whose worldview is shifted upon meeting a mysterious owl-like creature named Lufel. After some good old-fashioned exposition, the duo eventually set off on quest to recruit a new cast of Phantom Thieves, their ultimate goal being to restore the concept of desire back to humanity and put a stop to the mysterious force hellbent on taking it away. What ensues is a continuously-expanding, live-service adventure filled with much of the same turn-based combat, social simulation, and time management elements found in mainline Persona titles. Players will get the chance to explore new dungeons and areas of Mementos, take on part-time jobs and join after-school clubs, strengthen their Personas, raise Wonder’s social stats, and form relationships all while experiencing an original story. Players can also expect fan-favorite Persona characters–like Joker, Ann, Ryuji, and the rest of the original Phantom Thieves–to make appearances in the game via special contracts. Lastly, the Phantom X also introduces new elements to the series, including the PvE-focused Velvet Trials, mini-games, and the ability to create and join Guilds. Since its release in select regions last year, the title has earned a lot of praise for its story and new cast of characters, with players stating that both are shockingly on par with those found in the Persona 5. This could certainly have something to do with Persona veterans–like series producer Kazuhisa Wada, composer Ryota Kozuka, and artist Shigenori Soejima–being involved in the game’s development. However, it’s important to note that the upcoming title has gacha elements, similar to games like Genshin Impact or Wuthering Waves. Though you don’t have to spend money in order to play through The Phantom X, players are often encouraged to, which can definitely be a barrier when it comes to fully enjoying the game. Announced on Wednesday, Gemini can now connect to GitHub repositories and perform several coding tasks. These include generating and modifying functions, explaining code, answering queries about the codebase, debugging code, and more. Currently, the feature is only available to the paid subscribers of the platform. Notably, the Mountain View-based tech giant announced that it will now expand Gemini to more devices, including smartwatches, smart TVs, infotainment systems in cars, and more. Gemini Advanced Can Now Access GitHub Repos In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), the official handle of the Gemini app announced the new feature. The post stated, “Gemini Advanced now connects with GitHub, making it a more powerful coding assistant.” Those using the latest version of the mobile app or the web client should be able to access the new feature. Notably, this feature is only available to the Gemini Advanced subscribers. While the feature does not enhance the coding ability of the chatbot, it makes its use case more personalised. Users can now link the AI to their repositories and then ask Gemini questions about them or ask it to debug the codebase. Google says this new capability will allow Gemini to generate and modify code and functions, analyse and explain code, answer queries, debug, and more. In an example shown, Gemini was able to analyse the code and show ways to make it more efficient. To use the feature, Gemini Advanced users can tap on the plus icon (+) on the left side of the text field and select the “import code” option. Once done, they will see another text box where they can paste the GitHub URL. These links can belong to public or private repos, the AI works with both. Notably, the Gemini Advanced subscription in India costs Rs. 1,950 per month. Earlier this week, the tech giant announced the expansion of Gemini to more Android devices. Third on the list, trailing only Walmart and Amazon, is the nation’s largest health insurer, UnitedHealth. The company has had a tough go of it recently. Late last year, the CEO of the company’s UnitedHealth subsidiary was shot and killed just as he was entering the Hilton in Midtown to present at a conference. The company missed earnings and reduced guidance in April. On Tuesday, the CEO resigned “for personal reasons,” the company suspended guidance only a month after reducing it. The average of analysts’ 12-month price targets, over $640 per share earlier this year, has fallen more than 30% to $438. Then, after the close on Wednesday, the fire responsible for all that smoke was revealed when The Wall Street Journal reported a criminal investigation for possible Medicare fraud by the Department of Justice. The stock fell another 15% on Thursday, making it the worst-performing stock in the S & P 500 this year. When a company with a long and successful track record falters this severely, we have to ask ourselves questions to help establish whether the crisis is existential, persistent, prolonged or temporary: Is a secular shift in the industry threatening the business? Think Blockbuster Video before Netflix entered the picture—existential. Was there an unusually strong cycle that is unlikely to repeat? A “pig in a python” scenario — think Pfizer and Moderna with Covid vaccines — persistent/prolonged. Was the company fraudulently cooking the books? Think Enron or Worldcom —existential. Was the company creatively “massaging” its financials with creative accounting? Consider General Electric during the Jack Welch/Jeff Immelt era —persistent/prolonged. Is this a valuation issue where the price and the fundamentals are diverging? Think of Amazon in the late 1990s and early aughts. The stock price fell 95%, peak to trough, while revenues doubled–temporary. Is the company facing massive legal or regulatory problems that will significantly impair the business? Think tobacco, PG & E or Boeing — persistent/prolonged. More bad news is possible. The company insists it has done nothing wrong and said the DOJ had not notified it of the reported investigation. While executives insisted on a conference call Tuesday that they intend and expect to get back to prior margins and growth targets, it seems unlikely all this damage can be erased in the near term, and options prices, already elevated on hefty volume this week, are likely to rise even further now. Uncertainty caused a sharp drop in the stock price, a spike in options prices. A possible criminal investigation compound the hazards facing contrarians looking to pick up a once great company on the cheap. It’s always tricky to try and catch a falling knife. But as the two charts above reveal, 1) a 4% net income margin is a conservative baseline assumption, and 2) the only times UNH has traded much cheaper than it is right now were in the 1999/2000 time frame and during the great financial crisis. Could the stock fall to those multiples again or even lower? Of course, it shows how depressed the stock price is now. One way to take advantage of the depressed stock price combined with well-above-average options premiums is to perform a call/spread risk reversal, as follows. However, remember that this is a speculative long-term bet. On issue after issue, the White House has been stopped by judges from carrying out Mr. Trump’s initiatives while they are litigated in court, including his ability to withhold funds from schools with diversity programs, to relocate transgender women in federal prisons and to remove deportation protections from hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan migrants. On Thursday, the Supreme Court will take up one such case, with potentially major implications for the power of the judicial branch. The dispute stems from an executive order signed by Mr. Trump on the first day of his second term that ended the practice of granting citizenship to all children born in the United States. The policy was blocked almost immediately by federal judges who ruled that it was unconstitutional. The debate over whether such freezes are legal has simmered for years, as district court judges have issued orders blocking the actions of presidents from both parties. But Mr. Trump has expressed particular outrage about them since he returned to office. Some of the justices have also been critical of nationwide injunctions. A decision that limits nationwide injunctions could dramatically reshape how federal courts handle challenges to Mr. Trump’s policies, curbing the power of federal judges to swiftly block policies and boosting executive power. Groups opposing Mr. Trump’s actions would most likely have to bring many individual claims, or pursue other legal pathways, such as class action lawsuits. Should the Trump administration sway the justices, the immediate implications for Mr. Trump’s executive action ending birthright citizenship would not be entirely clear. The groups that have challenged the order have warned of chaos, with birthright citizenship potentially ending in some states but not others. Trump administration lawyers have argued that those fears are overblown, and that nationwide injunctions have prevented the executive branch from even preparing to carry out Mr. Trump’s orders by writing or issuing guidance about how a policy might work. Although the justices are not expected to immediately weigh in on Thursday on the constitutionality of Mr. Trump’s birthright citizenship order, the oral argument may provide hints of where they stand. While the justices have issued written orders in response to emergency applications that arose from other Trump administration actions, Thursday’s case marks the first time since Mr. Trump returned to office that the Supreme Court will hear an oral argument stemming from one of his policies. The argument will take place after the justices have heard all of their scheduled cases this term, and in the weeks before they begin issuing their most consequential decisions of the year — an unusual move that signals that the justices regard the dispute as significant enough to consider immediately. Birthright citizenship, or the practice of granting citizenship to people born in the United States to parents who are not citizens, has long been considered a tenet of immigration law. The 14th Amendment, ratified after the Civil War, declared that “all persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.” In 1898, the Supreme Court affirmed that right in a landmark case, United States v. Wong Kim Ark. For more than a century, courts have upheld that constitutional interpretation. Mr. Trump’s executive order drew immediate legal challenges from 22 Democratic-led states, and from immigrant advocacy groups and several pregnant women who contested the order, saying they feared their children would be denied U.S. citizenship. Federal judges in three states quickly paused the policy while court challenges continued. On March 13, the Trump administration asked the justices to step in and lift the court-ordered blocks, which most likely would have allowed the policy to go into effect in the states that had not sued. More than a month later, on April 17, the justices announced that they would schedule an oral argument to consider the legality of the nationwide injunction. The Supreme Court has never ruled directly on the issue before, in part because judges have used nationwide injunctions far more frequently in recent years. Some justices have signaled opposition to their use. In a 2020 decision, Justice Neil M. Gorsuch criticized injunctions of “‘nationwide,’ ‘universal’ or ‘cosmic’ scope,” writing that such “patently unworkable” rulings were “sowing chaos.” Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. has also criticized nationwide blocks. In a legal brief, the immigrant groups challenging the birthright order argued that the justices do not need to issue such a ruling now, because “case-specific considerations” support such nationwide freezes. They cite the judiciary’s power under Article III of the Constitution to issue such rulings. And they argue that if judges had been barred from making rulings that applied to parties not directly involved in litigation, courts could not have outlawed school segregation or racial gerrymandering. Thursday’s argument consolidates three challenges to the Trump executive order imposed by federal courts in Maryland, Massachusetts and Washington State. Judges in each state have been skeptical of Mr. Trump’s attempt to end birthright citizenship. At a hearing in Seattle, Judge John C. Coughenour, a Ronald Reagan appointee, said: “I’ve been on the bench for over four decades. I can’t remember another case where the question presented is as clear as this one. This is a blatantly unconstitutional order.” In their emergency application to the justices, Trump administration lawyers argued that any order issued by the those trial judges should have only applied to parties directly involved in the court challenges. Sarah M. Harris, the acting solicitor general at the time, called the government’s request a “modest” one, an effort to limit the freeze on the policy to “parties actually within the courts’ power.” Immigrant groups and leaders of the 22 Democratic-led states argued that the birthright citizenship case showed why nationwide injunctions were a necessary tool. “There is nothing ‘modest’ about the government’s request for emergency relief in this case,” two immigrants’ rights groups — CASA Inc. and the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project — argued in their own filing. It is not clear how much the justices will engage with the substance of Mr. Trump’s executive order. But Matthew J. Platkin, New Jersey’s attorney general, said he thought the justices would need to wrestle with the practical consequences of the policy. “Clearly there are going to be some justices who want to talk about the merits,” he said in an interview Wednesday. “I don’t know how you consider a nationwide injunction in this case without considering the merits.” Mr. Trump has said he would welcome it. In comments to reporters in the Oval Office after the justices announced they would hear oral argument, Mr. Trump had said that he was “so happy” the court agreed to hear the case. The US president said he had a “little problem” with Apple’s Tim Cook, after reports that the company is planning to switch assembly of handsets for the US market from China to India. “I had a little problem with Tim Cook yesterday,” said Trump, speaking in Qatar on Thursday. Referring to Apple’s recent promise to spend $500bn (£375bn) in the US, he added: “I said to him: ‘Tim, you’re my friend. You’re coming here with 500bn but now you’re building all over India. I don’t want you building in India.’” The complex manufacturing process behind iPhones involves more than 1,000 components sourced from all over the world, which are largely put together in China. Apple is secretive about details of its production processes but analysts estimate about 90% of iPhones are assembled in the country. However, production in India has reportedly increased due to trade tensions between Washington and Beijing. “I said to Tim … we’ve treated you really good, we’ve put up with all the plants that you’ve built in China for years, now you got to build [for] us,” Trump said. “We’re not interested in you building in India, India can take care of themselves … we want you to build here.” Trump then said Apple was “going to be upping their production in the United States”, although he did not provide further details to back up the claim. No iPhones are currently made in the US and experts have warned that moving assembly of Apple’s top-selling product to its home country would be impractical and costly. Shares of Blade Mobility Inc. are up more than 18% the day after the company delivered its first quarter earnings. Blade Mobility provides air transport alternatives with a fleet of helicopters, private jets, turboprops, and amphibious seaplanes. The company’s business is divided into Medical Services and Passenger Services verticals. The Medical Services vertical is about organ transport (primarily hearts, livers, and lungs), accounting for 58% of the company’s revenue. This business includes contractual relationships with transport hospitals. That leaves about 42% of the company’s revenue in Passenger Services. This includes short-distance flights between 10 and 100 miles as well as long-distance private jets. The small-cap urban air mobility company delivered a double beat punctuated by the first-ever profit in its passenger category. As the world starts to prepare for a world of air taxis, is this rally the one that will send BLDE stock soaring? A First-Time Profit Fuels Optimism There was a lot to like about Blade’s earnings report. Revenue of $54.3 million beat expectations of $49.3 million, a 10% beat. Earnings per share came in at a loss of four cents, beating analysts’ forecasts for a loss of 11 cents. Blade was also able to beat expectations by posting its first-ever EBITDA profit of $0.1 in its passenger segment. Adding fuel to the positive report, Blade reaffirmed its full-year revenue guidance of $245 million to $265 million. At the midpoint, that would be a 2% year-over-year (YOY) gain. The optimism is based on less aircraft maintenance activity in the second half of the year as well as ongoing cost-saving initiatives. This SPAC May Be More Than a Four-Letter Word Blade Mobility went public in 2020 via a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). Many SPAC stocks were part of the meme stock movement popularized by traders who frequented groups such as WallStreetBets. Penny stocks have always been attractive to traders. But many of these stocks fell on hard times in late 2021 as interest rates began to rise and investors lost their appetite for unprofitable companies. That was true of Blade. Even though the company has an asset-light model, it was still in the early stages of monetizing its business. While many SPAC stocks may never recover, BLDE stock has a chance to be different. Even though it is down approximately 80% from its high, it is solidly off its 52-week low. In addition, the post-earnings surge has lifted the stock past its 200-day simple moving average (SMA), which frequently indicates bullish momentum. There Are Enough Seats at the Table Interest in electrical vertical take-off and landing vehicles (eVTOLs) is growing. So, it’s important to note that the air mobility sector is broad enough to cover many business services stocks. The core of Blade’s business, organ transplants, is an area in which it has a significant first-mover advantage. In fact, this is an area that companies such as Joby Aviation (NYSE:) Inc. and Archer Aviation Inc (NYSE:). are unlikely to be able to compete in. In the area of passenger travel, it will take time for eVTOL companies to build out their network. In the meantime, the emergence of these flying taxis may help give Blade’s offerings more exposure. Blade is not yet profitable, but some analysts believe that the company, which currently has no debt on its balance sheet, can deliver profit margins in the mid- to high single-digit range. That would support a single-digit price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple for investors willing to hang on for several years. Although it’s not heavily covered by analysts, BLDE stock has overwhelmingly bullish sentiment. The consensus price target of $6.25, which would be an 81% increase in the stock price. Lambertina Galeana Marín was the president of the Superior Tribunal of Justice in the state of Guerrero when the ******** teachers went missing in 2014. The 79-year-old is suspected of having given an order that led to the disappearance of CCTV footage which investigators said was key to the case. She was arrested in the city of Chilpancingo, three years after a warrant for her arrest had been issued. The disappearance of the 43 students – who all attended the same teacher training college in the town of Ayotzinapa – has long haunted Mexico. More than a decade on, and despite several investigations, much is still unknown about what happened on the night of 26 September 2014. The remains of three of the students have been found, while the whereabouts of the 40 others remain a mystery, although they are widely presumed to have been killed. A 2022 report by a truth commission tasked by the ******** government with investigating the case found that it was a state-sponsored crime involving federal and state authorities. According to the commission report, local police worked members of a criminal group to forcibly disappear the students. The students had gone to Iguala to commandeer buses to take them to an annual protest in Mexico City. The ******** government said both the police and a local criminal group known as Guerreros Unidos (United Warriors) had been alerted to the students’ activities. Guerreros Unidos suspected that the students seizing busses in Iguala had been infiltrated by members of a rival criminal gang, Los Rojos, the report alleged. Both the police and members of Guerreros Unidos then mounted several roadblocks in and around the city, it added. One of those roadblocks, manned by local, state and federal police was on the street outside the Palace of Justice. Two Palace of Justice employees told investigators that the palace’s security cameras had captured what had happened at the roadblock. However, the footage was never handed over to the authorities and when officials attempted to retrieve it almost a year later, the footage had been “lost”, investigators said in 2015. Prosecutors have since alleged that it Ms Galeana gave the order to have the footage destroyed or deleted. The new world of policing in the *** is seeing forces adopt technology that allows them to spend less time on paperwork and more time in their communities, where it matters. The advancement of technology at Lancashire Constabulary through an extension of its contract for the Pronto digital policing app until 2029 is said to have seen the force’s 3,500-plus frontline officers and staff spending hundreds more hours on the streets. The Pronto app enables officers to access records and file reports from anywhere, replacing traditional police notebooks. It also gives officers the ability to easily and reliably record and access information without the need to return to the station, including using voice commands to access records and file reports safely from their vehicles without taking their eyes off the road. One of the first forces in the world to adopt Pronto, Lancashire Constabulary has additionally purchased 1,750 body cameras to improve evidence collection. The technologies are designed to provide critical information to officers to support faster, more effective policing while freeing up time for officers to engage with their communities. According to Motorola Solutions, a recent survey found the vast majority of Lancashire’s police officers regard the app as highly valuable and easy to use. A majority of frontline officers surveyed also credit body cameras for capturing stronger evidence and giving them better protection against threats. The force is in the process of upgrading its existing body cameras with the Motorola Solutions V500 devices to give its control rooms livestreaming visibility of incidents as they unfold. It has also deployed the M500 in-car video system across the Lancashire fleet of police vehicles. The V500 and M500 devices integrate with Pronto and are supported by the VideoManager evidence management software that helps ensure the secure handling, storage and sharing of evidence. The force also uses the Airwave mission-critical voice communications system. The striker’s legal team, however, now assert that the “gentleman’s agreement” is invalid as the additional clause was never signed. As a result, they are claiming Mbappe is owed 55m euros – a sum made up of the final third of his signing-on fee and three months’ worth of wages which were unpaid. They argue that a written contractual amendment would have had to be signed and submitted to the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) – the governing body for France’s two professional divisions – for the change to be valid, and that no “tangible proof” of an agreement has been presented. Mbappe brought the case to the LFP, whose disciplinary commission initially issued a non-binding ruling that PSG were to pay the sum. It later deemed itself to have no jurisdiction over the matter because of an ongoing civil court case, which the player’s team claims was only launched by PSG against the LFP “in order to avoid disciplinary action”. In February, the French Football Federation (FFF) dismissed Mbappe’s subsequent appeal on the same grounds. Speaking to BBC Sport, a lawyer with knowledge of PSG’s case explains that the LFP’s decision came from the fact that it could make a judgement based on the original contract – “but what’s being debated is whether it was amended”. In December, following the LFP’s latest decision, a club spokesperson reiterated that Mbappe had “made clear public and private commitments that the club simply asks to be honoured”, and that PSG remained hopeful of “an amicable solution”. The club also claimed that Mbappe refused the LFP’s offer for mediation. Last month, Mbappe’s lawyers held a press conference to announce they had “gone on the attack”, having notably obtained the seizure of the 55m euros from PSG’s accounts through a court decision. They also indicated that they were filing a complaint claiming PSG put pressure on Mbappe to renew, which the club denies, and that they had sent a letter to the FFF asking them to notify Uefa on the situation. In a hearing on Monday, after PSG contested the precautionary seizure, the club announced that a counterclaim for 98m euros (£82.6m) in damages would be brought forward as part of their wider case. In their court submission, the club’s lawyers asserted that the counterclaim was prompted by Mbappe’s “deceptive behaviour during negotiations to revise his contract”. The striker’s team, meanwhile, reiterated that despite the counterclaim there was “no legal basis for deferring payment of the sum due”. “The aim is not to recover the 98m euros, but rather to show that if he owes us money, his claim is unfounded,” PSG lawyer Renaud Semerdjian told the AFP. For the club, the standoff also represents a reversal in the days where player power reigned supreme – the new-look (albeit still as spendthrift) PSG styles itself as a project built around a collective unit rather than individual talents. Mbappe’s team, meanwhile, claimed in their April press conference that it was PSG who had put him under pressure to re-sign back in 2023 through “scandalous and indecent practices”, and that they would be joining the players’ union in its legal action against the “lofts”. A decision on the seizing of the club’s accounts is expected on 26 May – the same day as a separate hearing on the wider case, in which the French football authorities initially dismissed Mbappe’s appeals. While the 26-year-old will have wrapped up his maiden season in Spain the previous evening, Paris St-Germain will be in the midst of a week bookended by the Coupe de France and Champions League finals. The commission reached a preliminary verdict on the ********-owned short video platform’s advertising policy, having launched an investigation in February 2024. The company could face a fine of 6% of global annual turnover, if the commission upholds this view. The commission said a separate EU inquiry into TikTok’s suspected failure to guarantee election integrity in Romania, which was launched last December, was ongoing and was a priority. The commission’s verdict that TikTok lacks transparency over advertising comes four days before “super Sunday”, when voters go to the polls in Poland, Portugal and Romania. Under the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA), large internet companies are obliged to publish an advertisement library, detailing ad content, users being targeted and who paid for the publicity. The commission said TikTok did not provide this information, nor allow the public to search for it. The advertisement repository is seen by EU officials as a vital tool enabling researchers to detect scam ads and coordinated campaigns that aim to disrupt elections. Romania was plunged into political chaos last year when the first round of the presidential election was annulled, after the country’s intelligence services alleged that Russia had mounted an online campaign to promote a far-right outsider, who topped the poll. On Sunday, Romanian voters will choose between two candidates in the second round of the rescheduled presidential elections. The European Commission launched an investigation last December into whether TikTok had failed to tackle risks to the integrity of Romania’s presidential elections. Ursula von der Leyen, the commission’s president, said there were “serious indications that foreign actors interfered in the Romanian presidential elections by using TikTok”. TikTok’s alleged failure to provide an advertising library was said to make it harder for EU officials and other researchers to determine whether fake ads were used during election campaigns, including in Romania. But the commission cautioned against assumptions that TikTok would be found to have violated the election integrity obligations of the DSA. Thomas Regnier, a commission spokesperson, said there was no direct link between the December investigation and its preliminary view published on Thursday of a breach of EU law relating to advertising transparency. “Of course it’s not helping that your ad repository is not working. That’s one fact because it doesn’t help us to assess if there were fake or scam ads being used in the context of elections,” Regnier said. But he added: “The fact that the ad repository is not working in the context of this February investigation of last year is absolutely not prejudging the outcome of the December investigation.” As part of that December investigation, EU officials are studying actions TikTok said it took to prevent election interference in Romania. A TikTok spokesperson said the company was reviewing the commission’s preliminary findings on its ad repository. “While we support the goals of the regulation [DSA] and continue to improve our ad transparency tools, we disagree with some of the commission’s interpretations and note that guidance is being delivered via preliminary findings rather than clear, public guidelines,” the company said. The company now has the right to examine the commission’s investigation file and mount a defence. If the commission confirms its current view, TikTok could be fined up to 6% of its annual global turnover and be obliged to take measures to remedy the issue. The commission said it continued to investigate other suspected offences under EU law, including whether TikTok’s algorithms led users down damaging content “rabbit holes” and had addictive effects. It is also investigating TikTok’s age verification and child safety policies. These inquiries were launched at the same time as the investigation into the ad repository last February, but remain incomplete. Today, the game’s second DLC story, A Pirates Fortune, is launching alongside a new Star Wars Outlaws patch that’s adding a few more improvements. Ubisoft shared the details about the new patch on Star Wars Outlaws’ official site. Some of the most notable changes involve Kay’s newfound ability to smoothly switch from her blaster to two-handed weapons. Kay has also gained the ability to free-fire while riding her speeder. New space contracts have also been added for all players that feature multiple challenge types for additional rewards. Some of the latest changes are essentially cleaning up problems, like audio lines playing out of order or certain props disappearing or floating in the air during cutscenes. A handful of other fixes were introduced to keep players from being unable to complete intel quests and to prevent Kay from getting trapped in a room on Toshara while respawning. Today’s patch also features new cosmetic items based on the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew TV series, including an outfit for Nix. Those items are available to all players and can be found on the Trailblazer in Kay’s delivery crate. The full patch notes are below. Starting from its next-generation Instinct MI400-series, AMD will offer distinct processors for AI and supercomputers in a bid to maximize performance for each workload, according to SemiAnalysis. However, there might be a problem with the scalability of these compute GPUs. AMD plans to offer the Instinct MI450X for AI and the Instinct MI430X for HPC sometime in the second half of 2026. Both processors will rely on subsets of the CDNA Next architecture, but will be tailored for low-precision AI compute (FP4, FP8, BF16) or high-precision HPC compute (FP32, FP64). Such bifurcation of positioning will enable AMD to remove FP32 and FP64 logic from MI450X as well as FP4, FP8, and BF16 logic from MI430X, therefore maximizing die space for respective logic. In addition to workload optimizations, AMD’s Instinct MI400-series accelerators will also feature not only Infinity Fabric but also UALink interconnections, which will make them some of the first AI and HPC GPUs to feature UALink, a technology designed to challenge NVLink. But there is a major problem with UALink. You may like Support for UALink will be limited in 2026 due to the absence of switching silicon from external vendors, including Astera Labs, Auradine, Enfabrica, and XConn. As a result, the Instinct MI430X will only be usable in small configurations in topologies like mesh or torus, as there will be no UALink switches next year. AMD does not develop its own UALink switches and therefore relies entirely on partners, which may not be ready in the second half of next year. Progress in UALink development has been slow due to coordination delays in the standards body. According to SemiAnalysis, chipmakers like Broadcom view the market for such switches as too small and are not assigning enough engineering resources to accelerate timelines. By contrast, networking initiatives under the Ultra Ethernet Consortium are advancing more quickly and already have compatible hardware available commercially. In a bid to compete against Nvidia with its own rack-scale solutions, AMD intends to offer systems called Instinct MI450X IF64 and MI450X IF128 that will rely on the Infinity Fabric technology, possibly over Ethernet. SemiAnalysis believes that such solutions could be competitive with Nvidia’s VR200 NVL144 platforms in the second half of 2026, though it remains to be seen how these systems will stack up. Where analysts see them going While the stock market has staged a spectacular rebound over the past month, some stocks are more to thank than others. The S & P 500 has come back since a sell-off in early April following President Donald Trump’s announcement of steep tariffs. The broad index has erased losses for this year — an especially significant feat considering it at one point slipped into a bear market, or a drop of at least 20% from a recent high. A handful of stocks posted outsized gains during this *******, a CNBC Pro analysis shows. CNBC Pro looked at which S & P 500 stocks have rallied the most since April 8, the day before Trump paused many of the “reciprocal” tariffs that had sent the stock market on a tailspin. Here are the 12 S & P 500 members that have soared more than 50% since that day, along with what Wall Street expects to happen next: Palantir has been one of the best performers, with shares surging more than 65%. The defense technology stock has become a retail investor favorite in recent months, and company executives said they expect to benefit from Trump and Elon Musk’s government efficiency initiative. Bank of America analyst Mariana Perez Mora, who has a buy rating on Tuesday, hiked her price target by $25 to $150. That implies a 17% upside from Tuesday’s close — far more bullish than the typical analyst polled by FactSet, who expects shares to slide more than 19% in 2025. “Palantir continues to demonstrate not all ‘AI’ offerings are created equal,” she wrote to clients, using the acronym for artificial intelligence. “We continue to remind investors Palantir’s value is creating outcome-focused bespoke AI-enabled products, at scale. The electric vehicle maker has been under scrutiny this year given Musk’s foray into politics. Similar to Palantir, Wall Street expects a pullback ahead after the stock’s big run. The average analyst price target suggests the stock will slide 8.5% from Tuesday’s closing price. One of those analysts expecting downside is Wells Fargo’s Colin Langan, who expressed concern about signs of weak markets in April sales data in a Tuesday note to clients. “April results show no signs of an inflection in deliveries that consensus expects. If the Model Y refresh won’t drive deliveries higher, we expect investors hopes will need to shift to the coming affordable model,” he told clients. But, “we are increasingly concerned that the new affordable model will cannibalize TSLA Model Y sales as it will have the same ‘form & shape’ as the current models.” Outside of tech, energy stock Vistra made the cut with a jump of 51.7%. Vistra was one of the top-performing stocks in 2024, with investors favoring the company’s role in providing energy for the AI data center buildout. Unlike Palantir and Tesla, the typical analyst surveyed by FactSet anticipates Vistra shares can rise another 10%.
