Bitcoin Forecast: BTC/USD Quietly Getting a Foothold at Record Highs?
The outlook for and remains supportive from a sentiment and flow perspective – see the key levels to watch from here!
Bitcoin, Ethereum Key Points
The outlook for Bitcoin and Ethereum remains supportive from a sentiment and flow perspective.
BTC/USD remains within a bullish channel off the early-April lows, suggesting that the path of least resistance remains to the topside.
has shown relative strength in recent weeks and is currently threatening a near-term bullish breakout.
Between the constant flood of trade headlines, geopolitical flare-ups, fiscal spending bills, and central bank pronouncements, cryptoassets like Bitcoin and Ethereum have dropped off many traders’ radars this year. As experienced crypto traders will tell you though, that tends to be the best environment for cryptoassets to thrive; indeed, it’s when Bitcoin is being heralded as the “future reserve currency” on the evening news or Ethereum is lauded as the “base layer of Web 3.0” that sentiment (and price) is usually nearing a peak.
As we break down below, the current outlook for Bitcoin and Ethereum remains supportive from a sentiment and flow perspective:
Crypto Sentiment Steady Amidst Positive Flows
The sentiment gauge I watch most closely, the “Crypto Fear and Greed Index,” has held steady in the low 70s for three weeks now, solidly in the middle of the range that characterizes a healthy, balanced uptrend. If the index were to tick up toward 90 in the coming weeks, it could hint at an elevated risk for a pullback, but the current reading does not provide a strong contrarian signal:
Source: Alternative.me
Another way of gauging sentiment, flows into exchange-based cryptoasset investment vehicles have remained strong over the last few weeks. As the chart below shows, Bitcoin ETFs have seen inflows in all but one day over the last three weeks, including a few days over $500M in inflows. Over the long term, inflows from “tradfi” investors provide incremental demand for Bitcoin and could help support the price, as we’ve seen in recent weeks.

Bitcoin Technical Analysis: BTC/USD Daily Chart
Source: TradingView, StoneX
Turning our attention to the chart, Bitcoin is holding its ground near 2024’s all-time record highs in the $108-109K range. The cryptocurrency remains within a bullish channel off the early-April lows, suggesting that the path of least resistance remains to the topside for now, with potential for prices to extend toward horizontal resistance in the $118-120K range next.
That said, prices have seemingly lost some momentum in recent days, so readers should remain open-minded to a potential channel breakdown. If we see that scenario play out, a deeper pullback toward the 50-day EMA near $100K may be in the cards before the longer-term uptrend can reassert itself.
Ethereum Technical Analysis: ETH/USD Daily Chart
Source: TradingView, StoneX
As for the second-largest cryptoasset, Ethereum still remains far from its record highs or even the peak seen last year near $4K. That said, the cryptoasset has shown relative strength in recent weeks and is currently threatening a near-term bullish breakout above resistance in the $2700-2800 area, where the 50% Fibonacci retracement, 200-day MA and previous highs from February all converge. A clean breakout above that barrier could set the stage for a continuation toward $3000 or even $3500 next.

China’s EV price war heats up — What’s behind the big discounts?
China’s EV price war heats up — What’s behind the big discounts?

BEIJING — Competition in China’s electric car market just got fiercer with consequences for the domestic economy and even the global auto market.
Industry giant BYD last week announced a slew of discounts — some of nearly 30% or more — across several of its lower-end battery-only and hybrid models. The budget-friendly Seagull compact car saw its price drop to 55,800 yuan ($7,750).
Other major ******** automakers have begun following suit.
“BYD’s action this time has made the industry rather nervous,” Zhong Shi, an analyst with the China Automobile Dealers Association, said in Mandarin, translated by CNBC.
“The industry is in [a state of] relatively large shock,” he said, noting smaller automakers are now more worried about their ability to compete.
The industry has been a rare bright spot in an economy that has been seeing slower growth and lackluster consumer demand. Part of Beijing’s latest attempt to spur consumption included subsidies for new energy vehicles, a category that includes battery-only and hybrid-powered cars.
“The latest car price competition underscores how supply-demand imbalance continues to fuel deflation,” Morgan Stanley’s Chief China Economist Robin Xing said in a report Wednesday.
“There is growing rhetoric about the need for rebalancing [to more consumption], but recent developments suggest the old supply-driven model remains intact,” he said. “Thus, reflation is likely to remain elusive.”
China’s electric car market has already been in a price war for the last two years, partly fueled by Tesla.
But this time, traditional automakers, including state-owned ones, are feeling significant heat as the share of new energy vehicles has come to account for about half of new passenger cars sold in China.
Last week, Great Wall Motors Chairman Wei Jianjun warned of an “Evergrande” in China’s auto industry that had yet to explode, comparing the fast-growing EV industry to the country’s bloated real estate sector. The outspoken private sector autos executive was speaking to ******** media outlet Sina in an interview posted on May 23.
Once China’s real estate giant, Evergrande defaulted on its debt in late 2021 as the property market slumped after Beijing cracked down on the company’s high debt levels. Demand for homes also fell following tighter government regulations, leaving the developer struggling to finance the remaining construction of pre-sold units.
As ******** media scrutiny on automakers’ financial situation rose, BYD on Wednesday refuted reports that it excessively pressured one of its dealers on cash flow. The dealer, Jinan Qiansheng in the eastern province of Shandong, did not immediately respond to a CNBC request for comment. BYD referred CNBC to its statement to ******** media.
In the early years of China’s state-supported efforts to become a global leader in the emerging electric vehicle industry, the Ministry of Finance said it found at least five companies cheated the government of over 1 billion yuan ($140 million). The high-level policy encouraged a flood of startups, of which only a handful survived.
A 19% price drop over two years
In China, the average car retail price has fallen by around 19% over the past two years to around 165,000 yuan ($22,900), according to a Nomura report this week, citing industry data from Autohome Research Institute.
Price cuts were far steeper for hybrid or range-extension vehicles, at 27% over the last two years, while battery-only cars saw prices slashed by 21%, the report said. It noted that traditional fuel-powered cars saw a below-average 18% price cut.
In contrast, the average price of a new car in the U.S. was $48,699 in April, up nearly 1% from two years earlier, according to CNBC calculations of data from Cox Automotive. The average electric car price last month was an even higher $59,255.
BYD’s latest round of price cuts didn’t include the company’s higher-end models priced around 200,000 yuan, such as its flagship Han electric sedan. Reuters pointed out the newest model of the Han released in February was about 10% cheaper than its previous version, according to its calculations.
The ******** auto giant, which was backed by Warren Buffett in its early years, has rapidly captured market share in China with its wide range of cars at various price points. The company reported a net profit increase of 49% to 14.17 billion yuan last year. Total current liabilities rose by more than 60% to 57.15 billion yuan. Cash and cash equivalents fell slightly to 102.26 billion yuan.
Price war to continue
Rather than reflecting market expansion, double-digit growth of new energy vehicles sales in China is just eating into the business of internal combustion engine cars, Ying Wang, Fitch managing director, APAC Corporate ratings, told reporters Tuesday. She noted how the country’s auto market hasn’t grown much since 2018, and expects autos retail sales to only increase by low single digits this year.
Automakers will keep on using price cuts to gain market share in China this year, she said. Wang pointed out another option is for companies to include more features, such as advanced driver-assist systems, for free instead of asking consumers to pay more for them as an add-on.
Geely-backed Zeekr in March said it was releasing its advanced driver-assist system for free, while Tesla has attempted to charge its customers for a similar feature. A month earlier, BYD announced it was rolling out driver-assist capabilities to more than 20 of its car models.

In the last several months, China’s top leaders have increasingly called for efforts to address non-productive business competition, known as “involution.” The term was mentioned in the premier’s annual work report in March and in the market regulator’s meeting last week which called for “comprehensively rectifying ‘involutionary’ competition.”
However, the massive effort to produce lower-cost electric cars in China, and the automakers’ subsequent move to expand into other markets, has increased worries about the impact on other countries’ auto industries.
The European Union slapped tariffs on imports of China-made electric cars after probing the companies over the use of government subsidies in their manufacture. The U.S. also imposed duties of 100% on China-made electric cars, quashing hopes that the vehicles might enter the world’s second-largest auto market.
But in the EU, tariffs have had limited effect. In April, BYD outsold Tesla in Europe for the first time, according to JATO Dynamics. Tesla’s Europe sales plunged by 49% that month, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association.

Nasdaq 100 Eyeing Fresh ATH Supported by Nvidia’s Earnings Beat
Nasdaq 100 Eyeing Fresh ATH Supported by Nvidia’s Earnings Beat
Bullish animal spirits have roared back into the US stock market, reignited by the recent US-China trade tension truce, which led to a 90-day pause in lowered tariffs between the two superpower nations, with an expiration date set on 10 August 2025.
Key Takeaways
The 90-day US-China trade truce, ending August 10, 2025, reduces tariffs and lifts investor sentiment, pushing the higher.
Q1 Nvidia (NASDAQ:) are expected to show a 52% EPS jump, fuelling tech optimism and supporting the Nasdaq rally.
A close above 21,440 key resistance on the Nasdaq 100 could trigger a move toward the 22,470–22,980 zone.
Watch 20,340 key support for the Nasdaq 100 and 124.90 key support for Nvidia to maintain the bullish trend.
Meanwhile, US President Trump has dialled back his hawkish rhetoric on tariffs against the European Union (EU), extending the deadline for imposing 50% duties on all EU imports to 9 July from an earlier threat of 1 June.
The rebound in risk appetite and diminished expectations of a stagflation drove the major US stock indices above US President Trump’s 2 April “Liberation Day” levels. Significant rallies in the mega-cap technology stocks put the Nasdaq 100 back into a bull market. It surged by 29% from its 7 April low to Tuesday, 29 May’s closing level, just a month after it plummeted by -25% from its 19 February all-time high.
Bullish Breakout in Nvidia Suggests a Fresh Impulsive Up Move
Fig 1: Nvidia medium-term trend as of 28 May 2025 (Source: TradingView)
Nvidia, the second-largest market-cap component stock in the Nasdaq 100, is set to report its first-quarter earnings results after the close of today’s US session, 28 May.
A rosy beat is expected, where the consensus is expecting a significant jump of 52% in earnings per share to US$0.93 from US$0.61 (Q1 2024), according to data compiled by Trading Economics, suggesting resilient demand for Artificial Intelligence (AI) related GPU chips despite a potential bleak global economic growth prospect due to the uncertainties from US trade tariffs.
The technical chart of Nvidia suggests that its price actions are set to potentially retest its current all-time high level printed on 7 January, with its first medium-term resistance at 148.77, and a break above it sees 158.30 (Fibonacci extension cluster) next.
Key medium-term support rests at 124.90 (also the 20-day and 200-day moving averages).
Two key bullish elements. Firstly, the rising daily Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) indicator above 0.17, which suggests a bullish momentum condition with an expansion in volume. Secondly, the ratio chart of Nvidia/Nasdaq 100 is advocating further Nvidia’s outperformance over Nasdaq 100 as it inches higher above its 50-day moving average since 7 May (see Fig 1).
All in all, these observations suggest that a positive development in Nvidia’s technical chart may see a positive feedback loop into the price actions of the Nasdaq 100.
Impending Potential Bullish Breakout Above 21,440 for the Nasdaq 100
Fig 2: US Nasdaq 100 CFD Index medium-term trend as of 28 May 2025 (Source: TradingView)
Since 15 May 2025, the price actions of the Nasdaq 100 CFD Index (a proxy of the ) have faced a “stubborn” intermediate resistance at the 21,440.
However, two technical factors are now supporting a potential bullish breakout above 21,440 (finally) as Nvidia’s earnings announcement looms after the closing bell today, 28 May.
Market breadth conditions have improved significantly since 12 May, as the percentage of Nasdaq 100 component stocks trading above their respective key 200-day moving averages has risen to 61% as of Tuesday, 27 May, from 44% printed on 6 May (see Fig 2).
The daily RSI momentum indicator has inched higher steadily and has not reached an extreme overbought level of 78 and above, which suggests the medium-term upside momentum remains intact.
Watch the key 20,340 key medium-term pivotal support (also the 200-day moving average), and a clearance above 21,440 sees the next medium-term resistance coming in at 22,470/22,980.
On the other hand, failure to hold at 20,340 key support for the Nasdaq 100 CFD Index invalidates the bullish scenario to kickstart another corrective decline sequence to expose the next medium-term supports at 19,760 and 19,240 within its major uptrend phase.

One Nation boosts parliamentary ranks with new senator
One Nation boosts parliamentary ranks with new senator
Pauline Hanson’s One Nation will expand its ranks in federal parliament, picking up an extra Senate seat.
Tyron Whitten has claimed Western Australia’s final spot in the upper house for the party, after the *********** Electoral Commission finalised results in the state on Thursday.
Queensland One Nation senator Malcolm Roberts has also been re-elected in the Sunshine State following a close race for the final position.
The Senate results mean One Nation will increase from two to three seats in the upper house, its highest representation in Canberra since 2016.
The pair of senators will join Senator Hanson, who still has another three years left on her term, in the next parliament.
The final results in WA confirmed two senators from Labor, Ellie Whiteaker and Varun Ghosh, while Slade Brockman and Mattt O’Sullivan will represent the Liberals, with Green Jordon Steele-John also being re-elected.
Labor will increase its numbers in the Senate from Queensland, claiming two slots – Nita Green and Corinne Mulholland – while the coalition will also have two positions – Paul Scarr and Susan McDonald.
Newly elected Greens leader Larissa Waters was also confirmed to have won another six years in the upper house, taking the fifth slot in the state.
The final lot of Senate results will be announced on Friday morning, which will include the final seat in NSW that’s yet to be decided.
With all but one of the Senate spots declared, Labor holds 28 of the 76 seats in the chamber, with the coalition on 27, the Greens on 11, One Nation with three and six being on the crossbench.

Second car in 3 months crashes into roof of Excelsior Springs Veterans Hall
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Officers with the Excelsior Springs Police Department were called to the Clay-Ray Veterans Hall after a second car this year crashed into its roof.
At about 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday, officers were called to the Veterans Hall at 208 Veterans Memorial Drive.
According to police, the car had crashed through the roof of the building, and the engine was lying in the front yard.
Police said a man was driving on Linwood Avenue when his car launched off the cliff, tumbled through the trees then flipped right onto the roof.
Officers with the Excelsior Springs Police Department are on the scene of a ****** at the Clay-Ray Veterans Association Building after a second car this year crashed into its roof.

Officers with the Excelsior Springs Police Department are on the scene of a ****** at the Clay-Ray Veterans Association Building after a second car this year crashed into its roof.
FOX4 spoke with Excelsior Springs Police Lt. Ryan Dowdy about the ******. He said the curve of the road makes it hard to see the cliff on the other side.
“There’s this cliff face that’s on the back side of Saint Louis Avenue that’s hidden by this tree line,” Dowdy told FOX4. “Essentially, they launch off the cliff face, and they end up on the roof here.”
The building was empty when the ****** happened Wednesday morning.
The driver was able to walk to the ambulance on his own and was taken to the hospital. However, his current condition is unknown.
Dowdy said speed was likely a factor.
“You have to pay attention,” he said. “Speed is going to solve a lot of these problems. If you’re driving a million miles to nothing, of course you’re going to miss the single yellow arrow sign that’s telling you the road curves to the right.”
Car crashes into roof of VA building in Excelsior Springs, man held on charge
This marks the second time since February that a car drove into the roof of the Veterans Hall.
“Two years from now, it’ll be 100 years that we’ve been here, and it’s the first time we’ve had one car ****** into the roof—let alone two of them,” said Rusty Herrington, vice commander with the Clay-Ray Veterans Association.
Herrington said repairs to the building from the first ****** were nearly complete.
“It’s quite a shock for it to happen again,” he said. “We just went through all this money and everything to fix the other part. Now it’s the same thing, just over in the bar area instead of in the kitchen.”
They were only weeks away from reopening.
“It’s just heartbreaking, especially when it comes to the community,” Herrington said. “It’s an American Legion. We help veterans in any way we can. It’s put a big damper on things moving forward.”
If you’d like to help the Veterans Association with repairs and lost revenue, the Association’s president asks that donations be sent through Venmo. The Clay-Ray Veterans username is @cstull1973
You can also send donations by mail to the following address:
Clay Ray Veterans P.O. Box 297Excelsior Springs, MO 64024.
Make checks payable to “Clay Ray Veterans.”
Police are still investigating the cause of the ****** that occurred Wednesday morning. Dowdy said charges could be filed once the cause is determined.
“So as long as he didn’t have any medical condition, we are going to charge him with something that could be as minor as careless driving – or if he was determined to be impaired, he could face a charge for that. But we just don’t know at this point,” Dowdy explained.

iPhone 17 Pro Max Spotted in Leaked Hands On Video That Reveals Design, Thicker Chassis
iPhone 17 Pro Max Spotted in Leaked Hands On Video That Reveals Design, Thicker Chassis
Apple’s purported iPhone 17 Pro Max handset has been spotted in a new hands-on video that showcases the smartphone’s design. Expected to arrive later this year, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could be slightly thicker (and possibly heavier) than its predecessor, the iPhone 16 Pro Max. While it could be the thickest model in the series, recent reports suggest that Apple is also working on a much thinner smartphone with a single rear camera, dubbed the iPhone 17 Air.
iPhone 17 Pro Max Could Be the Thickest Model in Apple’s Lineup
Tipster @MajinBuOfficial published a video of what appears to be an iPhone 17 Pro Max ****** unit on X (formerly Twitter). This is not the first time that the design of the iPhone 17 Pro Max has been leaked, and we can see the rear panel, display, and edges of Apple’s flagship smartphone.
The video gives us a look at a ****** unit of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is seen to feature an expanded rear camera island. There are three rear cameras on the left, while the LED flash and LiDAR scanner are located on the right.
While the video doesn’t reveal the dimensions of the device, the iPhone 17 Pro Max appears to be visibly thicker than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. This is in line with a previous prediction from a tipster who claimed that the iPhone 17 Pro Max would be 8.725mm thick. Its predecessor, Apple’s currently top-of-the-line handset, is 8.25mm thick.
The reason for the increased thickness of the iPhone 17 Pro Max is currently unclear. Apple could use the additional space to house a larger battery, or a vapour chamber cooling system that is also found on several mid-range and flagship Android handsets.
If these claims are accurate, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is likely to be the thickest phone in the iPhone 17 lineup, while the iPhone 17 Air could be the slimmest model with a thickness of 5.5mm. However, it’s best to take all leaks with a grain of salt, as Apple is only expected to reveal details about the iPhone 17 series in the second half of the year.

S&P 500 Bulls Eyeing Next Leg Up Amid Nvidia Earnings Cheer, Trump Tariff Block
S&P 500 Bulls Eyeing Next Leg Up Amid Nvidia Earnings Cheer, Trump Tariff Block
Yesterday, stocks finished lower as implied volatility surged ahead of Nvidia’s (NASDAQ:) . The jumped to roughly 19.5, significantly higher than Tuesday’s level of 13. There’s not much more to add, except that volatility is likely to drop sharply today, potentially providing a slight morning boost to futures. However, I wouldn’t expect this to result in a significant market move.
I could see the index rising to or above the 5,920 level, given that we saw that sell-off into the close.
In terms of Nvidia, it was a messy quarter with plenty of “could-haves” and “would-haves.” Only in the stock market does one get rewarded for that, because in real life, when we say we could have done this or that, it’s usually because we didn’t, and the outcome wasn’t favorable.
If I could only sing, I would have been a rock star. If there were no export exemptions in China, we could have had more revenue in the second quarter.
The after-hours market is focusing on these hypothetical scenarios and what might have happened without restrictions. For now, the critical point is whether the bulls can hold the $140 level, which is the call wall. IV will undoubtedly drop significantly tomorrow, causing many calls to lose considerable value.
I’m not sure if the stock will hold above $140, as it’s currently trading at around $140.50. If it breaks below $140, we’re likely looking at a potential decline below $130. Unfortunately, we might not have clarity on this until today’s close.
There is a sizable gap to fill at $131, and below that, there is essentially no support until you reach the gap at $116. So in my view, $140 is of the utmost importance. Nobody is suggesting that anything happens in a straight line or all at once, but rather a destination over time.
More importantly, at this point, the results probably don’t change any of the main themes in the market that I have been focusing on.
Finally, I don’t think President Trump is a fan of TACO Tuesday, now that he knows investors are laughing at Trump Always Chickens Out.
We will see what happens today.

Trump’s crackdown on international students explained
Trump’s crackdown on international students explained
As part of his wider crackdown on higher education, US President Donald Trump has moved to ban Harvard from enrolling international students, accusing the school of not doing enough to combat antisemitism on campus.
Harvard filed a lawsuit in response, and a judge has halted Trump’s ban for now, with a hearing on the matter scheduled for 29 May.
The US government has also ordered embassies to halt new student visa appointments as it prepares to expand social media vetting for applicants.
The BBC’s Nomia Iqbal visited the Ivy league school and explains how the Trump Administration’s move is part of a wider crackdown on elite universities.

Trump appears to give Putin “two week” deadline on Ukraine
Trump appears to give Putin “two week” deadline on Ukraine
US President Donald Trump has appeared to set a two-week deadline for Vladimir Putin, threatening a different response if the Russian counterpart was still stringing him along.
As the Kremlin escalated its attacks on Ukraine, Trump was asked in the Oval Office on Wednesday if he thought Putin wanted to end the war.
“I can’t tell you that, but I’ll let you know in about two weeks,” Trump told reporters, the latest amid a string of critical public remarks made by Trump about Putin.
Since Sunday, Trump has written multiple posts on social media saying that Putin has gone “absolutely crazy” and is “playing with fire” after Russia intensified its attacks on Ukraine.
The bombardments by Russia are said to have been some of the largest and deadliest attacks since the start of the war, now in its fourth year.
Russian strikes in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, killed at least 13 people and injured dozens more, including children, over the weekend.
And by Wednesday, the attacks had shown no signs of slowing down.
In Trump’s remarks about the escalation of violence and whether he thinks Putin is serious about ending the war, Trump said: “I’ll let you know in about two weeks.
“Within two weeks. We’re gonna find out whether or not (Putin is) tapping us along or not.
“And if he is, we’ll respond a little bit differently.”
The comments are a sign of Trump’s growing frustration, as the White House’s repeated efforts to negotiate a deal between Russia and Ukraine appear ever more futile.
This includes a recent two-hour phone call between Trump and Putin, after which the US president said the discussions went “very well”.
Putin walked away from the call saying he was ready to work with Ukraine on a “memorandum on a possible future peace agreement”.
That call was one week before Russia launched hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles towards Ukraine’s capital, according to Ukraine’s air force.
And a memorandum has yet to be produced by Russia.
So far, Trump’s threats have not appeared to concern Moscow sufficiently for it to concede to his demands. Trump has not delivered on previous such threats.
Since taking office, Trump has only taken action against Ukraine, as Washington sought to steer the countries to Trump’s demand for a truce.
This included an eight-day suspension of US military assistance and intelligence sharing with Kyiv in March.
Meanwhile the US administration has not publicly demanded any significant concessions from Russia.
The White House rejects accusations of appeasing Moscow or failing to enforce its will, pointing out that all the Biden-era sanctions remain in force against Russia.
But so far its mediation approach appears to have made the Kremlin more, not less, empowered.
After the latest attacks, Trump wrote on Truth Social that “something has happened” to Putin, which the Kremlin said were comments made “connected to an emotional overload”.
Russia’s attacks on Ukraine continued in the days afterwards. Trump then escalated his criticism. On Tuesday, he said Putin was “playing with fire” and that “lots of bad things” would have happened to Russia if it were not for Trump’s involvement.
A Kremlin aid responded to the latest Trump Truth Social post by saying: “We have come to the conclusion that Trump is not sufficiently informed about what is really happening.”
Putin aide Yury Ushakov told Russian state TV channel Russia-1 that Trump must be unaware of “the increasingly frequent massive terrorist attacks Ukraine is carrying out against peaceful Russian cities.”
On Wednesday, Germany’s new chancellor, Friedrich Merz, told Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky that Berlin will help Kyiv produce long-range missiles to defend itself from Russian attack.
The Kremlin has warned that any decision to end range restrictions on the missiles that Ukraine can use would be a dangerous change in policy that would harm efforts to reach a political deal.
In the face of Russia’s recalcitrance, Trump has frequently softened his demands, shifting the emphasis from his original call for an immediate 30-day ceasefire, to which only Ukraine agreed, to more recently demanding a summit with Putin to get what he says would be a breakthrough.
Putin and his foreign minister Sergei Lavrov have upped their demands from earlier positions since the US restored contacts with the Russians in February.
These have included a demand that Ukraine cede parts of its own country not even occupied by Russia and that the US recognises Crimea as a formal part of Russia.
Michael McFaul, a former US ambassador to Moscow, calls this a “poison pill” introduced by Russia: Creating conditions Kyiv could never agree to in order to shift blame onto Ukraine in Trump’s eyes.
The war has claimed tens of thousands of lives and left much of Ukraine’s east and south in ruins. Moscow controls roughly one-fifth of the country’s territory, including Crimea, which it annexed in 2014.
Zelensky has accused Moscow of delaying the peace process and said they were yet to deliver a promised memorandum of peace terms following talks in Istanbul. Peskov insisted the document was in its “final stages.”

Stella Sora is running another Closed Beta Test with more unlockable content until next month
Stella Sora is running another Closed Beta Test with more unlockable content until next month
Chapters 1 and 2 now available
Test your combat skills in the Monolith Exploration
Running from now until June 8th
In case you missed the CBT last month, Yostar Games is once again opening up a Closed Beta Test for Stella Sora, the studio’s upcoming cross-platform RPG. Running from now until June 8th, the CBT will offer the continent of Nova for you to explore to your liking, but with no payment options at the moment.
As you might expect, your data for the CBT of Stella Sora will be wiped once the test ends, but if you’re curious about how it all plays out – and you happen to be on PC or on Android – I’d say it’s worth giving a go.
I say that because the CBT will allow you to customise a Displayed Appearance as your avatar, as well as encounter 20 colourful Traveler Maidens and get to try out their combat styles. You’ll discover their personal narratives too (in ******** and Japanese voicovers), which is an interesting head start to have before the RPG officially launches.
As for the campaign chapters, parts 1 and 2 will be available from the main storyline, as well as a gameplay mode called Monolith Exploration. Here, you can squad up to take on foes with randomised boons in between – I’d venture a guess that this might be your roguelike endless mode that’s common in mobile RPGs.
While you wait, why not take a look at our list of the best RPGs on Android to get your fill of something similar?
In the meantime, if you’re eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by pre-registering for Stella Sora now from the official website.
You can also join the community of followers on the official Facebook page to stay updated on all the latest developments, or take a little peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the vibes and visuals.

Apple Updates Logic Pro for iPad and Mac With Flashback Capture, New Sound Packs and More
Apple Updates Logic Pro for iPad and Mac With Flashback Capture, New Sound Packs and More
Apple on Wednesday issued an update for the Logic Pro app which adds several features related to music production. The in-house digital audio workstation (DAW) app, which is available for the iPad and Mac, can now recover previous MIDI and audio performances even if you forgot to hit record. It also comes with an updated Stem Splitter that can extract a greater amount of detail from demos and old recordings, as per the company. Users can take advantage of two new sound packs in Logic Pro which are claimed to help amplify music production.
Logic Pro App Update Price, Availability
The new Logic Pro for Mac 11.2 is available as a free update for existing users and is priced at $199.99 (roughly Rs. 17,000) for new users in the US on the Mac App Store. Apple users can also subscribe to the Pro Apps Bundle for Education which includes Final Cut Pro, MainStage, Motion, and Compressor, for the same price as the standalone Logic Pro subscription.
Using Logic Pro for Mac requires macOS Sequoia 15.4 or later, as per Apple.
Logic Pro App Update Features
In a newsroom post, Apple detailed the new features and improvements coming to the Logic Pro app following the latest update. One of the most notable additions is a feature called Flashback Capture. It allows artists to recover lost MIDI and audio performances even if they forgot to save during sessions.
When Cycle mode is enabled, they can improvise multiple takes and the feature will automatically categorise each pass into a dedicated “take” folder, as per Apple. This feature is said to work using a key command or a custom control bar button.
Apple says the Logic Pro app also features an updated Stem Splitter. It allows users to split and extract any audio recording into individual musical instruments such as drums, bass, and vocals. Users can choose to apply individual effects or add new parts before combining them again. Following the update, Stem Splitter can extract “greater detail” from old recordings and demos. It adds support for guitar and piano stems too. As per the company, there’s also a new submix feature that is said to make it easier to export select parts of the audio. For example, creators can remove vocals to create an instrumental music, or remove drums and bass for an acoustic version of a track.
Updates have been made to Stem Splitter in Logic Pro Photo Credit: Apple
Logic Pro update brings new sound packs too. The Dancefloor Rush features drum-and-bass sounds with 400 dynamic loops, punchy drum kits, and a custom Live Loops grid. Further, two other new sound packs, Magnetic Imperfections and Tosin Abasi, offer “essence of an analogue tape” and a progressive metal guitar with boutique amps, effects, and picking techniques, respectively.
Apple says several features have been exclusively introduced for Mac. The Notepad app has received integrated support for Apple Intelligence-powered Writing Tools to help creators compose music lyrics. The new search and select feature is also said to make it easier to find and select tracks by their name or track number.

‘He’s keen to play’: Kalyn Ponga no certainty to face the Dragons as Knights superstar braces for three games in eight days
‘He’s keen to play’: Kalyn Ponga no certainty to face the Dragons as Knights superstar braces for three games in eight days
Superstar fullback Kalyn Ponga has declared he’s keen to play, but Newcastle Knights coach Adam O’Brien isn’t ready to make a definitive call on his availability for Friday’s clash against the Dragons just 48 hours after the Origin opener.
Ponga was one of many Queensland players to be kept quiet at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night, with the representative fullback flying down to Sydney where he wants to take his place at the back against a team just two points ahead of them on the ladder.
“I spoke to him this morning and he’s keen to play,” O’Brien said.
“Those guys, especially after a loss, they want to get back out there straight away.
“It’s important that I meet him this afternoon down in Sydney and get eyes on him and work out what’s right for him, but also what’s right for us given the fact that we trained without him all week and some guys got the job done last week.
“There are a few things to consider, but first and foremost I want to make sure that he’s healthy.
“He’ll play a big part in the decision whether he’ll play or not. He’s got no pressure from me.”
Fletcher Sharpe will shift to fullback if the Knights decide to rest Ponga, with Newcastle in action again next Thursday when they host the Sea Eagles.
Sharpe was phenomenal in their much-needed win over the Panthers in Bathurst and is ready to light it up at the back again if required.
“If Kalyn doesn’t play, naturally ‘Sharpey’ will go back there,” his coach said.
“Until I see him this afternoon, I won’t know. Any team that’s got Kalyn Ponga in it, it gives you a better chance of winning.
“But at the same time, I’m mindful that he played last night. Fullbacks cover a fair bit of ground and we’ve got a short turnaround next week so it’ll end up being three games in eight days. There’s a bit to factor in.”
The Knights are enjoying a more relaxed week after the pressure on the team was eased with their win over the undermanned premiers.
And while O’Brien has enjoyed the positive vibes around town, he knows his side must move on to their next challenge against a Dragons side that always lifts at home.
“It was great to see smiles on the players’ faces and good to see some people in coffee shops around town a bit happier with us,” he said.
“It was a bit of relief but a bit of confirmation that if we can hang onto the footy and play a certain style, we’re a pretty effective footy team.
“That’s done now and we need to go and recreate it.”

Nova Development Virtual Architect Professional Home Design 12 review
Nova Development Virtual Architect Professional Home Design 12 review
Why you can trust TechRadar
We spend hours testing every product or service we review, so you can be sure you’re buying the best. Find out more about how we test.
Nova Development produces an impressive array of design and productivity software, including a range of 3D home design tools, the top of the line version being “Virtual Architect Professional Home Design 12”.
Having reviewed all the best interior design software, I wanted to see how the latest version compares to the rest. So let’s take a look at it.
Virtual Architect Professional Home Design 12: Pricing & plans
Purchase the software online, as you’d expect these days, with a price that’s to be expected for the number of available features, but we were very disappointed to learn that no trial version was available
Nova Development Virtual Architect Professional Home Design 12 at Nova Development for $124.99
This software is PC-only, compatible with Windows 8, 10 and 11. It requires a 64-bit OS, a minimum of 2GHz processor, 4GB of RAM and 30GB of storage, and it can be yours for $125.
You may like
Sadly, Nova Development does not offer a trial version, so there’s no way for you to check out its wares before purchasing the software. However, they do offer a 60-day money back guarantee, so if you buy it and if it turns out not to be your cup of tea, return it, no questions asked.
The easiest way to get this title is by clicking here – although we found the installation to be quite lengthy, even on full fibre, but we got there in the end.
Virtual Architect Professional Home Design 12: Interface
Designing your project is easy (Image credit: Nova Development)
The interface feels somewhat antiquated, but its organization is pretty much perfect, allowing you to select the tool you need with ease
The interface feels dated, but the way the information is organised is very clean and easy to understand. The icons at the bottom of the window are used to control your environment.
This is where you get to choose which view to work in (2D or 3D), add cameras to your 3D environment, choose which level of your building to work in, along with general controls when moving objects on your canvas, such as restricting movements to right angles, and making sure objects don’t collide with each other.
You’ll find a series of tabs at the top, which is where all your design tools are stored, organised by clear categories. Further up is the traditional menu bar which contains links to those aforementioned tools, giving you multiple ways to access the same functions, which is something we greatly appreciate: the software allows you to work how you prefer, rather than forcing you to adapt to a developer’s idea of working.
To the right, is the Inspector panel, which changes its content based on the currently selected tool. It’s very clear and simple, although we found the information there to be quite small compared to the other sections.
We also found having to navigate through tiny folders inside a tiny inspector got a little frustrating at times. Thankfully there’s a search field at the top, if you know what you’re looking for.
Virtual Architect Professional Home Design 12: Building
The 3D interface allows you to manipulate and alter your design (Image credit: Nova Development)
Considering the complexity of designing a building, using this software is remarkably simple as the developers have clearly gone out of their way to make the creation process as easy as they could manage it
Designing walls and rooms is very easy: select the wall tool, click on your canvas, click somewhere else, and one wall has been added between those two clicks. There’s even a function (selected by default) to ensure those walls stay straight, and go off from others at a 90 degree angle.
You can add walls by using your mouse or trackpad, or by typing the value you’re after. By default the measurements will be shown in antiquated feet and inches, but you can alter that to the much more precise metric system from the ‘Settings’ section.
There’s a lot of little touches we greatly appreciated, like the software being intelligent enough to know when the latest wall you’re adding will enclose a room, or when you reposition an existing wall, any other wall connected to it will also be resized as you do so, saving you tons of time when redesigning and fine tuning your project.
Adding doors and windows is just a matter of choosing the one you’re after from the Inspector panel, and dragging it until you’re happy with its position. These objects know they’re supposed to be embedded into a wall and will snap to one in your project as you decide where to put it, even if your cursor veers off a little.
Adding a ceiling can be done in a single click if you just want to cover the entire level in one go, but you’ve also got the option of being much more precise, choosing different types of ceilings for each room, say, or even creating partial ceilings. The flexibility and ease of use is impressive. Same goes for when it’s time to add a roof.
You’ll likely primarily be working in the 2D environment, but you can also switch to 3D, and not just to appreciate your design in three dimensions: unlike some competing products, you also have design control in that environment as well, and we had a lot of fun with that.
Virtual Architect Professional Home Design 12: Wizards
A few ‘wizards’ are available to speed up the creation process even more (Image credit: Nova Development)
If you need another helping hand, conjure up a wizard to speed up some common design necessities, such as a kitchen, bathroom or deck
Despite all the features created to facilitate the building of complex projects, sometimes you may need things to be speeded up somewhat. That’s where wizards come in. This software has a handful of them, to create the bare bones structure of a house, a kitchen, bathroom, a house’s foundations, or even a deck or shed.
The wizard won’t do it all for you, of course, but through a series of simple choices, you can apply a template to your project, and then customize it further after it’s been inserted.
For instance, the Kitchen Wizard will ask you for the basic shape you’re after (L-Shape, Galley, or U-Shape), its orientation, the generic placement of most units, and the style you’re after. After that, you add it to your plan, resize it to suit, and its job is done. You’re then free to take individual items, such as the sink or fridge, and move it around until you’re happy with its position.
It’s a great way to get the basics done in a few seconds, giving you more time to fine tune and personalize your creation.
Virtual Architect Professional Home Design 12: Indoor and Outdoor Decoration
Landscaping, and creating decks, is all part and parcel of the software (Image credit: Nova Development)
The software has a large catalog of objects you can use to furnish your design, and comes with powerful tools to shape the landscape
Adding furniture, both indoor or outdoor, is as easy as selecting a door or window: choose the right category, then scroll down the list in the Inspector until you find the item you’re after.
We were unable to find a way to customize the available objects though (just like we couldn’t resize a chosen door or window), but there are so many options available you’re bound to find the one that matches your needs.
And speaking of outdoor, this software goes beyond your house, and grants you the ability to design the outside, complete with altering the terrain, creating hills, retaining walls, the works, and of course, has a slew of plants and vegetation you can use to bring your design to life.
As you’d expect for a program with such versatility, its minimum specs should be seen as that: minimum, and likely not even worth trying to match. As long as your computer swims in RAM and has a powerful processor, it should easily handle the software.
Should I buy Virtual Architect Professional Home Design 12?

The furniture inventory is vast(Image credit: Nova Development )
Buy it if…
You’re on a PC, and you’re looking for a powerful, versatile, yet easy to use software package to design a project in 2D and 3D.
Don’t buy it if…
You don’t need something with so many options, your PC isn’t powerful enough, and the lack of trial software really puts you off.
For more home design tools, we’ve reviewed the best landscape design software and the best architecture software.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly threatened to leak sex tapes of his ex
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly threatened to leak sex tapes of his ex
By Jack Queen and Luc Cohen
NEW YORK (Reuters) -Sean “Diddy” Combs routinely beat his ex-girlfriend and during fits of rage threatened to release sex tapes of her to the internet, a stylist testified on Wednesday at the hip-hop mogul’s sex trafficking trial.
Deonte Nash, who worked as a stylist for Combs and Combs’ former girlfriend Casandra Ventura from 2008 to 2018, alleged that Combs repeatedly beat Ventura and threatened to release the tapes while raging at her for not being obedient.
“He told her she ******* up and he was going to put her sex tapes on the internet,” Nash said, recounting an alleged incident in 2013 or 2014.
Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to five counts including racketeering and sex trafficking. He faces up to life in prison if convicted on all counts.
Last week, Scott Mescudi – the rapper known as Kid Cudi – testified that his car was set on fire in 2012, shortly after Combs learned that Mescudi had a romantic relationship with Ventura.
Prosecutors say the alleged arson of Mescudi’s car was one of several violent or ******** acts that Combs or his associates undertook to prevent women from leaving his orbit and keep his abuse quiet.
On Wednesday, a lawyer for Combs told the judge outside the jury’s presence that prosecutors’ questions to a Los Angeles arson investigator implied that Combs had a role in the destruction of fingerprint evidence, arguing the questions were grounds for a mistrial.
U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian swiftly denied the request, saying none of the testimony was unfair to Combs. He told jurors to disregard the questions and answers about the fingerprints.
Testimony in Combs’ trial in Manhattan federal court is in its third week. Prosecutors say Combs, the founder of Bad Boy Records, coerced women, including Ventura, over two decades to take part in days-long, drug-fueled ******* performances with male sex workers known as “Freak Offs.”
Combs’ lawyers have acknowledged that he was at times abusive in domestic relationships, but said the women who participated in Freak Offs did so consensually.
Over four days of emotional testimony during the first week of trial, Ventura recounted years of alleged physical and emotional abuse by Combs.
Ventura, a rhythm and blues singer known as Cassie, said she hated the Freak Offs. She said she participated because she loved Combs and because she feared how he would react if she didn’t.

Amer Sports: The New ONON and DECK of Consumer Discretionary?
Amer Sports: The New ONON and DECK of Consumer Discretionary?
In 2025, among the biggest rebounders is one of the hottest names in the consumer discretionary sector over the past year or so, Amer Sports (NYSE:). Since going public back in Feb. 2024, Amer Sports has seen its shares rise by around 187% as of the May 23 close. This dramatic rise conjures images of the explosive returns seen by other stocks like On Holding (NYSE:) and Deckers Outdoor (NYSE:) in past years.
So, can Amer Sport’s incredible run continue, and is the apparel and footwear stock the new On Running and Deckers Outdoor of the current market?
To answer that question, let’s break down what Amer Sports does and its financial progress.
Amer Sports’ Strong Q1 Earnings Catapult the Stock into Deep Green Territory
Although the rebound in its sector has greatly helped Amer Sports’ recovery, the company has done much of the heavy lifting itself. Amer Sports’ extremely impressive Q1 earnings allowed the stock to rise 19% afterward. The company saw sales grow by over 23%, much faster than analysts’ expectations of just under 17% growth.
The company over doubled its adjusted diluted earnings per share (EPS) from $0.11 to $0.27, which also massively exceeded expectations. Amer increased the midpoint of its full-year EPS guidance by over 4% and increased the midpoint of its revenue growth guidance from 14% to 16%. Both of these figures were solidly ahead of analyst forecasts.
AS: Underlying Drivers Look Just as Impressive
As is typically true with hot clothing and footwear stocks, Amer Sports’s success is all about the brands it owns. Amer Sports’s largest and most important brand is Arc’teryx. Arc’teryx makes very high-end outdoor clothing. It is particularly known for its lightweight waterproof jackets, which sell at prices between $400 and $900.
The company’s technical apparel segment, in which Arc’teryx is, saw the fastest revenue growth of 28%, accounting for 45% of total revenue.
Amer’s promising geographic-based sales also stand out. Greater China sales grew by 43% and accounted for around 25% of total revenue in 2024. Last quarter, the United States made up 26% of revenue, with the company’s “Americas” sales growing by 12%.
This demonstrates that the company has a strong presence in the two largest economies in the world, giving it a strong runway to grow its business.
The company’s direct-to-consumer (DTC) growth of 39% also outpaced the 12% growth of its wholesale channel by over three times. This is another very positive sign, as DTC sales cut out middlemen, allowing the company to generate higher margins. The higher DTC growth rate bodes well for the company’s ability to continue expanding margins.
Additionally, the company’s second-largest segment, Outdoor Performance, saw its growth rate nearly double to 25%. This segment made up 34% of total revenue. Strong performance by its Salomon footwear and apparel line drove this. The company sees strong long-term growth potential in its Salomon shoes.
They generated $1 billion in revenue in 2024, giving them less than 1% market share in the global $180 billion sneaker market. The company also plans to roll out more Arc’teryx footwear in the second half of 2025, allowing another way to further penetrate this market.
Amer Sports: High Valuation Stock With Opportunities and Skilled Management
Overall, the success of Amer Sports and the strong pathways for growth and higher profitability make its rapid rise understandable. Wall Street analysts significantly raised their price targets after the May 20 results. Among those tracked by MarketBeat that updated their forecasts afterward, the average price target is just under $41.
This implies an upside of only 6% from the stock’s May 27 closing price.
Additionally, the company’s relative valuation versus its industry looks elevated. The stock’s nearly 49x price-to-earnings ratio is significantly above the 29x average of a group of the eight largest U.S. stocks in its industry. However, the company also has one of the best earnings and sales growth profiles.
Expecting the stock to continue generating returns similar to those of On and Deckers in its heyday may be a bit unreasonable at these levels.
If the company hopes to continue substantially beating forecasts, expectations will keep rising. The potential in footwear could allow this to happen.
The company’s fantastic execution and ability to make products that resonate with consumers are hard to bet against. Overall, investors should view Amer Sports as a somewhat high-risk, high-reward consumer discretionary play going forward.

Somerset farmers aim to go green without SFI grants
Somerset farmers aim to go green without SFI grants
Dave Harvey
Business and Environment Correspondent, BBC West
BBC
Aidan Stanley says people are happy to pay for his low-carbon beef
When the government axed the Sustainable Farming Incentive, many farmers said the loss of cash incentives to grow nature-friendly crops would leave them facing a hard choice.
That choice was between growing as much food as possible to make a profit, or looking after nature while losing money in the process.
But some farmers argue it is possible to do both.
Aidan Stanley raises beef cattle entirely on untouched grass pastures at Lilliput Farm near Bath, a practice which substantially reduces carbon emissions.
“This is working because of public demand,” he said.
So what is he doing to make his farm more sustainable, and how does he make it pay?
Can you raise a low-carbon cow?
Aidan and his dad Oliver walk me up an old valley just north of Bath. The land has been pasture meadow since royalist forces drew up their lines on Lansdown Hill above us, in the English Civil War in the 1600s.
“These oak trees were mostly planted in the 18th Century,” remarks Oliver.
The Stanleys’ farming style is as old as the meadow. They allow grass to grow, with wildflowers and among plenty of trees, then move the cattle onto it to graze.
The old trees help store carbon, and the meadow has not been ploughed in hundreds of years.
“The cattle just eat grass from the pasture and hay made from it in the winter – nothing else,” says Oliver.
The traditional Hereford beef cattle graze an ancient pasture near Bath
This is more radical than it may sound. Most of us only see cows when they are eating grass out in the fields.
But most cows spend a lot more time in barns, eating grain.
“Most cattle in the *** is grain-fed for most of its life,” explains Aidan.
“In fact ‘grass-fed’ labels [in supermarkets] mean only that a cow has eaten grass for 51% of its life.”
So what? Does it matter if cows eat grain?
“Because we don’t use grain that saves more carbon on the fertiliser that would have been used in the transport and the processing,” Aidan added.
Birds foot trefoil is one of many wildflowers growing in the meadows
Is the meat more expensive?
Farming like this has its costs, of course.
The cows grow more slowly – typically taking three years to reach a full weight before they are slaughtered, compared with just 15 months for conventional beef cattle.
And to allow the grass time to grow back, farmers tend to have fewer cattle and more fields than typical beef farms, meaning that per acre, per year, the beef is more expensive.
How do they make it pay then?
The answer is right next to the field of cows: their own restaurant.
Selling their beef direct to the public through a restaurant enables the farm to make a profit
“The restaurant makes this work,” explains Aidan. “This is the main outlet for our beef.”
At lunchtime the restaurant sells sausages and beefburgers, the latter from the farm’s own cows of course, alongside high-end vegetarian dishes. Sunday roasts are popular with families, and in its first year the restaurant had 22,000 customers.
Aidan adds: “As the government withdraws support for sustainable farming it is going to be harder for people to do this, but it’s reassuring that this is working because of public demand.”
Can every farm go green without grants?
Of course, not every farm can open its own restaurant. And the country need farmers supplying ordinary shops with everyday food.
So can other farmers follow these more sustainable systems, and still turn a profit?
While visiting the farm, I meet Jimmy Woodrow, who runs Pasture for Life. His organisation persuades farmers to raise cattle entirely on grass, and they have certified Lilliput Farm.
He insists that this kind of green farming can save farmers money.
Jimmy Woodrow says farmers can go green and save money
He explains: “If you’re reducing your costs on things like feed, fertiliser, vet and medical costs, you going to have more profit on each cow. The challenge for smaller farms, is how many animals do you need to make a living? It’s a lot.”
And this is where he thinks government does have a role.
“There are lots of farmers who are doing a fantastic job for nature, while being profitable, but they need government support if they are to scale up and produce more food,” he says.
Since the government closed the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme in March, they have been consulting on a replacement. Officials told me the “improved SFI scheme” will be launched in the summer.
A government spokesperson said: “The scheme will target public funds more effectively to meet the needs of both farmers and the environment.”

When he moved on from the LPGA, Samaan’s regime struggled to maintain momentum. There was an early setback when players failed to turn up for an important sponsor dinner they were expected to attend.
The then commissioner “took full responsibility” while Terry Duffy, the boss of the backer in question, CME, was furious. “The leadership needs to work with their players to make sure that everybody has a clear understanding of how we grow the game together.” he said.
It was one of a number of setbacks. A proposed merger with the Ladies European Tour looked certain to be completed but came to nothing.
Instead, the LET continued to strengthen ties with Saudi Arabia and the Aramco Series that underpins its schedule.
At last year’s Solheim Cup, the park-and-ride system was botched, leaving empty seats in first tee grandstands for the start of the most important event in women’s golf. Samaan needed to issue a public apology behalf of the tour.
Players were recently informed that the LPGA’s South Korean rights partners have not paid their bills for 2024 or 2025. The chief marketing and communications officer, Matt Chmura, departed earlier this month after only a year in the job.
Amid all this upheaval came Samaan’s resignation at the end of last year. English veteran Mel Reid, an LPGA board member, told the Golf Channel: “She was under pressure from a lot of players.”
When asked what should be Kessler’s priorities when he takes over, a former major winner told me: “He will need to rebuild some bridges and show that the LPGA is a place where corporations can do business.”
Another insider said that the new commissioner has to reconnect with players and sponsors and “get the tour back to where it was when Mike Whan left it”.
Kessler speaks of pillars to underpin his new regime, starting with “building trust; trust with our players, trust with our sponsors, trust with our fans, and trust with our team”.
