Body-cam video shows Massachusetts troopers thwart apparent human trafficking plot
Body-camera video shows Massachusetts troopers locate the victim of an apparent human trafficking attempt last month.
The 22-year-old neurodivergent woman had left her family in Southeastern Mass., to meet a man she had been talking to online, Mass. State Police said in a news release. She intended to take a Greyhound bus to Hartford, Conn., where she would meet two men who would transport her to Jamaica to visit the man she had been communicating with, the department said.
After her family called the police, troopers rushed to the South Station bus terminal where they learned her bus had left Boston early.
With lights and sirens, troopers tracked down the woman’s bus, stopped it on the Mass Pike, and safely located her to be reunited with her family.
Dr. Abigail Judge, clinical and forensic psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, founded the Boston Human Exploitation Advocacy Team (HEAT), working with women in ongoing ******* exploitation and trafficking in conjunction with ongoing addiction. Her work primarily involves individuals at Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard, a Boston hotspot for homelessness and drug use.
“Human trafficking, commercial ******* exploitation happens every day throughout the Commonwealth,” Judge said. “We work closely with the Boston Police Department human trafficking unit, and I know that they’re doing this work day and night.”
Judge told Boston 25 News preventing human trafficking requires recognizing what it actually looks like – and it’s usually not a scene from the movies.
“There’s a misperception that trafficking doesn’t happen in Massachusetts, and I think part of it is a misunderstanding of what trafficking actually is,” Judge said, explaining that trafficking involves “an individual of vulnerability, where there’s a power difference and when there’s money.”
“We see that with the P. Diddy trial, we see that at Mass and Cass every day,” Judge said. “Those are the dynamics of human trafficking which are far more prevalent and prominent than the notion of chains or transporting across state lines. Do those things happen? Yes. But trafficking in the Commonwealth is far more local, far more violent, and I think it’s important for people to reimagine, really understand what it looks like.”
More than 27.6 million people – both children and adults – are subjected to human trafficking globally, State Police said, recognizing January as National Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month.
“As a state public safety agency, we remain committed to raising awareness of this issue, educating the public about identifying the crime, and taking proactive steps to end this form of modern slavery,” the department said.
State police urge anyone who suspects someone is a victim of human trafficking to call 911 immediately.

CSU Pueblo president resigns after alleged violation of university policy
CSU Pueblo president resigns after alleged violation of university policy
Less than a year after taking the reins of the university, Colorado State University Pueblo President Armando Valdez has resigned.
A Jan. 31 news release from the Colorado State University System stated the system’s board of governors accepted Valdez’s resignation “effective immediately.”
“Following an independent investigation, Mr. Valdez was found to have violated a university policy. While Mr. Valdez disagrees with the conclusions of that investigation, he recognizes that it has caused him to lose the confidence of the Board of Governors and CSU System leadership. As a result, to allow the university to move forward, he resigned his role,” CSU System officials said in the release.
CSU Pueblo President Armando Valdez visits with community members during a meet-and-greet on Dec. 15, 2023
Rico Munn, the former superintendent of Aurora Public Schools, has been selected by the board to serve as CSU Pueblo’s interim president.
Munn, a past chair of the board of governors and past executive director of the Colorado Department of Higher Education, most recently served as vice president for Metro Denver Engagement and Strategy, overseeing the CSU Spur campus and CSU strategy in Denver after two years as chief of staff to CSU President Amy Parsons, according to the release.
“Rico Munn brings deep knowledge of higher education and education as a whole and knows the mission and role of CSU Pueblo well. We are confident in his ability to help steer the campus forward during this interim *******, with the support of the university’s excellent Cabinet-level leadership team,” Board Chair John Fischer said in the release.
Fischer said in the release that the board’s focus is “ensuring there is solid and effective leadership in place moving forward at CSU Pueblo.”
CSU System AVP of Communications Tiana Kennedy told the Chieftain that because Valdez’s resignation and alleged violation of university policy is a personnel matter it’s “not something the CSU system will not be commenting on.”
Search details and next steps will be announced at a future date, according to the release.
Valdez ousted one day short of his one-year anniversary
Valdez took over as CSU Pueblo’s 16th president Feb. 1, 2024, succeeding former President Timothy Mottet, who had led the university since 2017.
The university launched a national search for its next president in August 2023, but after the search yielded no viable candidates, Valdez resigned from his position on the CSU Board of Governors to be an eligible candidate.
He was named the sole finalist for the presidency on Nov. 30, 2023, and was later appointed to the position to finish the remaining 2 ½ years of Mottet’s term.

Pro-RFK Jr. letter to the Senate includes names of doctors whose licenses were revoked or suspended
Pro-RFK Jr. letter to the Senate includes names of doctors whose licenses were revoked or suspended
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — A letter submitted to the U.S. Senate that states it was sent by physicians in support of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination as secretary of Health and Human Services includes the names of doctors who have had their licenses revoked, suspended or faced other discipline, The Associated Press has found.
The letter was meant to lend credibility to Kennedy’s nomination, which has faced strenuous opposition from medical experts due to his two decades of anti-vaccine activism. Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, a medical doctor who boasts on his official website of an effort he created to vaccinate 36,000 children against hepatitis B, expressed hesitancy about Kennedy’s nomination and is seen as a key vote.
The AP found that in addition to the physicians who had faced disciplinary action, many of the nearly 800 signers are not doctors. The letter with the names of those who signed was provided to the AP by Sen. Ron Johnson’s office after he entered it into the Congressional Record on Wednesday during the first of Kennedy’s two confirmation hearings.

See for yourself — The Yodel is the go-to source for daily news, entertainment and feel-good stories.
Among those who signed it were a self-described journalist, a certified public accountant, a firefighter/paramedic, a certified health coach and someone who said they had a bachelor’s degree “with an emphasis on Jungian Psychology.” The signers include at least 75 nurses, as well as physician’s assistants. More than 90 did not include any credentials at all.
Over 20 were chiropractors, representing an industry that has funded Kennedy’s work. An AP investigation found that donations from a chiropractic group represented one-sixth of the revenues collected by Kennedy’s anti-vaccine nonprofit in 2019.
The letter was organized and submitted by MAHA Action, which is run by Del Bigtree, who worked for Kennedy’s presidential campaign and is a longtime anti-vaccine activist. The Washington Post reported Wednesday that Kennedy transferred the trademark for the “MAHA” slogan to an limited liability company run by Bigtree. Kennedy reported that he received $100,000 in income from licensing the slogan and said in his financial disclosures that he had transferred the trademark for “no compensation.”
MAHA stands for “Make America Healthy Again,” a play on President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again.”
Emma Post, a MAHA Action spokesperson, said in an email that the letter was “shared and circulated organically in a grassroots manner with explicit instructions that it was for physicians only to sign on to.” She did not address the AP’s questions about what further steps the group took to verify credentials, if any.
Bigtree and Kennedy did not return messages seeking comment. A White House spokesman, Kush Desai, said the administration looks forward to the Senate’s swift confirmation of Kennedy.
The letter includes the header “ Doctors for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. ” and begins with the words, “We, the undersigned physicians.” It says lower down that it “reflects the collective voice of physicians and medical professionals” committed to addressing chronic disease.
The AP’s review found that at least 10 doctors who signed the letter had run into trouble with state medical boards or their board certification body for a variety of alleged misconduct. Sanctions they faced included having their license revoked or suspended, being put on probation, receiving a reprimand or other action. One received a warning letter from the Federal Trade Commission, which said he was unlawfully advertising products as treatments or prevention for COVID-19, including intravenous nutrient therapy and vitamins.
Among the signers was Paul Thomas, an anti-vaccine doctor who voluntarily surrendered his medical license in 2022 after Oregon’s medical board found he had engaged in repeated and gross negligence in the practice of medicine.
Thomas did not admit or deny the finding. NBC News reported that Thomas was part of a team assembled by Kennedy who remotely advised an anti-vaccine activist in Samoa during a measles outbreak there on how to treat children with vitamins. A person who responded on behalf of Thomas, DeeDee Hoover, said the information the AP had was inaccurate but did not reply when asked what specifically was wrong.
Other signers included Dr. Simone Gold, who was reprimanded by California’s medical board after she pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for her conduct at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Gold was recently pardoned by Trump and told the AP in an email that her reprimand and other disciplinary action were overturned by a judge prior to her pardon.
“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is an honorable and honest person with vast subject matter knowledge and experience who values the health of the American people, and furthermore because he is willing to challenge corporate interests where they conflict with the best interests of those citizens,” Gold wrote in an email.
Meryl Nass, whose medical license was suspended in Maine over her treatment of COVID-19 patients, also signed. She told the AP she is appealing the decision and expects to be fully vindicated.
At least two of the doctors were disciplined, prior to the pandemic, for improperly giving out vaccine waivers, including one who had his license revoked and another who was put on probation. Another doctor’s license was revoked for refusing to follow COVID-19 guidelines.
Post said MAHA Action’s letter was just one of several provided to the Senate supporting Kennedy, including one that she provided a link to that she said was signed by “17,000 medical professionals.” That letter stated it was from international medical providers and did not include the names of those who signed.
Opponents of Kennedy’s nomination sent their own letter with signatures from what they said were more than 18,000 “vetted and verified” doctors. The group, the Committee to Protect Health Care, said that the letter was initially circulated among verified physicians and that as additional signatures were added, their credentials were checked. The group provided the list of signatories to the AP but with anonymized names that included the first initial of their first name along with the first three letters of their last name, as well as their medical credentials. They said doctors’ names were anonymized for their privacy and to protect them from harassment.

Intel reports Q4 beats on top and bottom lines, stock rises on foundry revenue outlook
Intel reports Q4 beats on top and bottom lines, stock rises on foundry revenue outlook
Intel (INTC) announced its fourth quarter earnings on Thursday, beating estimates on the top and bottom lines but falling short on Q1 guidance. Still, the company said its nascent foundry business is expected to produce meaningful external revenue by 2027.
Intel stock rose 2% in premarket trading on Friday following the report.
The report is Intel’s first since it ousted CEO Pat Gelsinger over frustrations related to his enormous turnaround plan for the company.
Intel is currently led by co-CEOs David Zinsner, who also serves as CFO, and Michelle Johnston Holthaus, who is also CEO of Intel Products. The company is still searching for a permanent CEO to take the reins and attempt to revitalize the storied chipmaker.
For the quarter, Intel reported earnings per share (EPS) of $0.13 on revenue of $14.3 billion. Analysts were anticipating EPS of $0.12 on revenue of $13.8 billion. The company saw EPS of $0.54 and $15.4 billion in revenue in the same quarter last year.
Intel, however, said it expects revenue between $11.7 billion and $12.7 billion in the current quarter. Analysts were looking for $12.85 billion. Adjusted gross margins are also set to come in at 36%, below the 39% Wall Street expected.
Intel stock is down a staggering 54% over the last 12 months and reported the largest quarterly loss in its history last quarter. Intel isn’t the only chipmaker hurting, though. Rival AMD (AMD) is down 36% throughout the last year. Nvidia (NVDA), on the other hand, continues to gain steam, rising 93% in the last year, despite suffering a massive rout on Monday on the back of worries related to China’s DeepSeek AI.
Intel’s still-nascent foundry business, which both produces chips for Intel and is designed to act as a contract manufacturer for third parties, continues to be a drag on its overall revenue despite announcing agreements to build chips for Amazon’s (AMZN) AWS and Microsoft (MSFT). The Intel Foundry business brought in $4.5 billion, in line with expectations.
Intel’s Client Computing business, which includes chips for PCs, saw revenue of $8 billion versus expectations of $7.8 billion, while its data center business topped out at $3.39 billion. Wall Street was looking for revenue of $3.37 billion.
Intel is working to build out new facilities to research and construct chips across the US, but the company is dealing with a relatively flat PC market despite promises that AI PCs would help buoy the space in 2024.
According to IDC, PC shipments rose just 1% in 2024, and there’s still plenty of uncertainty about 2025.
“The overall macroeconomic concerns seem to be overshadowing some of the progress and excitement around AI PCs,” Ryan Reith, group vice president with IDC’s Worldwide Device Trackers, said in a statement.

‘Are we dating the same guy?’: Women turn to Facebook to uncover cheating and violence | Women
“Any info on Chris* please? Thanks.” The words in a Facebook post, above three pictures of a man. In the comments, a woman replies: “He was also posted a few days ago by someone.”
Further down, a second woman replies: “I’m shaking, I’m his fiancee.”
Interactions like this happen almost daily in the vast network of “Are We Dating The Same Guy?” Facebook groups that now span the globe.
Open only to women, who must pass vetting checks to be admitted – administrators will root out new profiles, and decline any that look fake – they are designed to share information about men.
A group for New York City has 164,000 members, the Los Angeles group has 79,000, one for Toronto has 81,000, and Sydney 10,000.
In the ***, there are groups for every region and nation, from more than 150,000 women in a group for Londoners, to 2,500 members in a page for the Lancashire towns of Blackburn and Darwen. There is even a specific group for *** women with partners in prison, with more than 800 members.
While designed to catch cheaters, they are also acting as a resource to warn women about violent, abusive and dangerous men.
“The Are We Dating the Same Guy? Facebook groups had helped thousands of women around the world avoid cheaters, narcissists and abusers,” one ***-based member said.
“The times of men being able to have second families and serially abuse women with abandon are over. In my personal experience, I don’t even have Facebook, but a month ago I was looking at the group on my friend’s phone only to find out a man I had been talking to had killed someone and was in jail for manslaughter.”
Another woman said her sister had posted in the groups, feeling that something was off when a man ghosted her after telling her his donkey had died. She found out from Facebook that he didn’t have a donkey, but he did have a fiancee.
“I think that spaces like these where women can share stories that could possibly lead to someone saving themselves from a dangerous situation with a person are absolutely necessary,” she said.
“I think they’re a good tool for warning women away from cheaters or abusers – I’ve seen a lot of that in my local group,” said another woman, based in the US.
“But a lot of the times the posts, [or] who comments, get back to the guy. Somebody shared what I said with my ex; he’s not a bad person so it wasn’t a concern, but I can imagine that potentially being dangerous when people don’t respect the privacy rules.”
“A lot of the abuse that gets referenced is more emotional abuse [or] narcissistic tendencies from what I’ve seen – stuff that’s not necessarily ******** but still detrimental,” she added. “So in instances like that, sometimes women’s best resources are each other, and I’ve seen a lot of encouragement and support in the group, too.”
In the ***, under the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (DVDS), known as Clare’s law, police forces are able to disclose information about a perpetrator’s previous abusive or violent offending to a victim or potential victim of domestic abuse.
Under the scheme, it is possible to ask the police to check whether a current or ex-partner has a violent or abusive past – and the topic is raised regularly in the groups, with, in some cases, women finding out about their partners’ criminal histories through tipoffs on Facebook.
However, some experts say the groups are not without risk, and may even put women in danger of further harm.
“The Are We Dating the Same Guy? Facebook groups highlight both the necessity and the limitations of women turning to online communities for protection,” said Charlotte Proudman, a family law barrister.
“Given that one in four women will be ****** or ********* assaulted, and many lack confidence that statutory services will keep them safe, it is understandable that women are using these spaces to share red flags and warn each other about dangerous men.
“However, there are risks, including the possibility of violent men retaliating if they discover they have been named, or women facing legal threats for speaking out.”
“There is a defamation risk,” said Mark Stephens of Howard Kennedy LLP, “and one of the challenges, particularly of abusive and controlling men, is that they are increasingly using defamation laws to silence women about their abuse.”
Even posting anonymously – which many of the groups allow – would not necessarily offer protection, he said.
“For ordinary blokes, it’s not going to be too much of a risk, because they won’t have the money,” he said, “but for rich and powerful men, what we’re seeing increasingly is that they will apply to Facebook, Meta, and ask for details of the person who posted, so they can launch legal proceedings against them, and they get a court order from the court to disclose the woman’s details.”
Some who work in the sector have said that the fact that the groups exist at all is an indictment on the failures of the state to keep women safe – leaving women themselves to fill a vacuum created by statutory services.
“One of the things that stands out for me, working with women who have been subjected to men’s violence, is how women have each other’s backs,” said Karen Ingala Smith, the chief executive of nia, a domestic and ******* violence charity. “I am so pleased to see that women are using technology to adapt and advance sisterhood.”
One of the issues with Clare’s law, she said, was that even where it crossed the threshold of criminality, men’s violence against women was rarely reported.
“Using the police and courts to address abusive men is a step that many women choose not to take and for many good reasons,” she said.
“And while I wish that abusive men were fully and formally held to account for their actions, in this world with a very far from perfect, or even adequately functioning, justice system, when it comes to men’s violence against women, I am delighted that women find other ways to protect each other. Sisters are doing it for themselves. Long may it continue.”

Dutton slams PM over ‘unsettling’ communications break down over terror caravan
Dutton slams PM over ‘unsettling’ communications break down over terror caravan
Opposition leader Peter Dutton has called for an independent assessment of a communications breakdown involving Prime Minister Anthony Albanese over a failed Sydney terror plot, as both leaders face-off during Lunar New Year.
The Prime Minister was reportedly not informed about the discovery of a caravan packed with explosives and addresses of Jewish sites by a Dural resident on January 19 until Wednesday, when news of the shocking find first broke.
In Melbourne alongside the PM for the Chine New Year festivities at Box Hill, Mr Dutton questioned why NSW Premier Chris Minns, who was briefed on January 20, did not raise the discovery with Mr Albanese until news broke.

“What does that mean for our national security?” Mr Dutton told the media.
“I think it’s unsettling to be honest.
“Every Prime Minister I’ve known – both Liberal and Labor – have taken seriously their obligation to keep Australians safe.
“If this Prime Minister wasn’t notified – effectively, until the public was notified – that is without precedent.
“I think the PM should appoint an eminent *********** from the from the law enforcement and intelligence community to have a transparent look at what has failed here.
“Because, we can’t have what could have been the most catastrophic terrorist event in our country’s history, and the prime minister doesn’t know until the public does.”
Mr Dutton earlier called for “some transparency for what’s gone wrong here”, and said the Prime Minister did not “have an instinct for” or interest in national security.
It comes as both leaders made duelling announcements at the Lunar New Year event at Box Hill.
Joined by Victorian Liberal MPs, Mr Dutton announced $250,000 to support the Box Hill Lunar Festival if he became PM.

Mr Dutton said the funds would ensure “this iconic celebration continues for the next five years”.
“We’re also proud to fund a memorial sculpture honouring the service and sacrifice of Australians of ******** descent who have served our nation,” he said.
Mr Albanese meanwhile spruiked an $15,000 federal grant for Whitehorse Council’s Lunar New Year celebrations.
“What a beautiful celebration in Box Hill in Melbourne,” Mr Albanese said on X.
“The contribution of the ******** *********** community is something to celebrate every day of the year.
“I will never take your community, or your contribution to our nation, for granted.”
******** Australians will be crucial to the outcome in the seat of Menzies, which takes in the suburb of Box Hill.
The seat is currently held by Liberal MP Keith Wolahan.
More to come.

More Than Half of People with Diabetes Are Deficient in This Vitamin, New Study Suggests
More Than Half of People with Diabetes Are Deficient in This Vitamin, New Study Suggests
Reviewed by Dietitian Annie Nguyen, M.A., RD
Photography / Jennifer Causey, Styling / Ali Ramee / Audrey Davis
More than 38 million Americans have diabetes, and between 90% and 95% of them have type 2 diabetes. While most are adults over the age of 45, an increasing number of children and teens are also developing the condition. The good news is that most type 2 diabetes cases can be prevented, as some lifestyle behaviors contribute to developing the condition.
Related: Can Eating Too Much Sugar Cause Diabetes? Here’s What Experts Say
For example, studies have shown that diet plays a role in diabetes prevention and that diets high in added sugar, saturated fats, ultra-processed foods, sodium and excessive calories are associated with an increased risk of diabetes.
Many studies and guidelines on diabetes and diet focus primarily on macronutrients—carbs, fats and protein. But researchers in India wanted to know if there was a link between micronutrients—vitamins and minerals—and diabetes. Here’s what they found in their systematic review and analysis from January 2025, published in BMJ Nutrition, Prevention & Health.
How Was This Study Conducted?
After searching for previously published studies on diabetes and micronutrients and weeding out the ones that didn’t meet their criteria, researchers ended up with 132 studies with a total of 52,501 participants for this review and meta-analysis. Participants were men and women of multiple ethnicities at least 18 years old with type 2 diabetes, with or without complications.
The studies included information on participants’ micronutrient status—including if they were deficient in specific vitamins and minerals based on their bloodwork. All the studies were published between 1998 and 2023 and were from many different countries, giving these researchers a global perspective.
What Did This Study Find?
There were several findings from this review and meta-analysis:
Over 45% of the type 2 diabetes population had multiple micronutrient deficiencies
40% of the participants with diabetic complications had micronutrient deficiencies
Women were more likely to be affected by micronutrient deficiencies than men
Vitamin D deficiency was the most common deficiency with a prevalence of over 60% among people with type 2 diabetes
Magnesium ranked second as the most common deficiency with about 42% of people with type 2 diabetes deficient in magnesium
In a subgroup of people with diabetes taking metformin, a common diabetes medication, vitamin B12 deficiency was present in almost 29% of participants
Here’s where the chicken-and-egg scenario comes in. Researchers can’t say whether the micronutrients may have played a role in these people developing diabetes, or if diabetes might have caused the micronutrient deficiencies. They can only conclude that there is some sort of correlation between type 2 diabetes and micronutrient deficiencies, including vitamins D and B12 and magnesium.
How Does This Apply to Real Life?
You don’t have to have diabetes to be deficient in any of these nutrients. All three—vitamin D, vitamin B12 and magnesium—are commonly deficient in the general population as well. There are estimates that about 25% of Americans are vitamin D deficient with an additional 40% having below-optimal blood levels of the sunshine vitamin. Between 40% and 80% of people in developed countries are deficient in vitamin B12. Plus, about half of us aren’t getting enough magnesium.
Because these deficiencies are common in both the general population and those with type 2 diabetes, one might hypothesize that the deficiency may have come first. Regardless, it’s important to eat a balanced variety of foods to cover your nutrient needs, whether you have diabetes or not.
Vitamin B12 is found in animal products, like meat, fish and dairy. Fortified cereals, plant-based milks and nutritional yeast are plant-based sources of vitamin B12.
Our bodies manufacture vitamin D from sunlight exposure, but many things can influence this process. For example, you need to expose enough of your body—head, arms and legs—which is difficult to do in colder months. A few foods do contain vitamin D. Egg yolks, mushrooms, cod liver oil, beef liver and fatty fish, like salmon, tuna and swordfish, all naturally contain vitamin D. You’ll also find some foods fortified with it, including cow’s milk, cheese, yogurt, soy milk, orange juice and cereal.
Magnesium, too, is in a wide variety of foods. Regularly eating nuts, seeds, nut and seed butter, soy, legumes, fruits and veggies can help ensure you’re getting enough magnesium.
Even dark chocolate provides magnesium. We recently reported that researchers connected regularly eating a small amount of dark chocolate—but not milk or white chocolate—to a lower risk of type 2 diabetes. For that study, they hypothesized that dark chocolate’s antioxidants may have offered protection. Magnesium may have played a role, too. Add nuts to your dark chocolate for another magnesium boost.
If your diet is more centered on ultra-processed and high-added-sugar foods and beverages, there’s a good chance you’re not getting a sufficient amount of some of the micronutrients. But for many, completely overhauling your diet all at once is too overwhelming.
Instead, pick one or two items you eat every day or almost every day and swap it with a whole food or something with less sugar, sodium or saturated ****. For example, if you drink soda every day, swap one of your daily sodas with water. If you need bubbles, sparkling water will work, too. Add fruit slices or a splash of 100% fruit juice to your glass if you need more flavor. Once you’ve made that one swap a habit, do more—swap another soda—and continue doing this until you’ve said adios to your sugary drink habit.
Or if you eat fast food several times a week, choose one of those meals to swap with a meal you’ve prepared at home. If you’re in the habit of reaching for something with a lot of added sugar or caffeine for your afternoon pick-me-up, try having something nourishing instead, like a handful of nuts and a piece of dark chocolate or a string cheese and a piece of fruit. And, perhaps most importantly, make sure you’re hydrating.
The Bottom Line
This study found that a high percentage of people with type 2 diabetes tend to be deficient in three micronutrients: vitamins D and B12 and magnesium. These are also commonly deficient nutrients in the general population. You are more likely to get the recommended daily intake of these micronutrients by eating a variety of foods.
If you worry that you may be low in these nutrients, a registered dietitian and your healthcare practitioner can help you with bloodwork to test your nutrient levels and develop individualized strategies for incorporating foods that are friendlier to your body and brain. And remember—small steps now will lead to big changes in the long run.

Six Nations: Wales boss Warren Gatland targets Italy game after France result
Wales will travel to Nice on Saturday to spend the week preparing for the Italian test.
“The players have worked hard over the last couple of weeks and the players are aware of how important next week is,” said Gatland.
“We go to Nice tomorrow for the week and that’s going to be important for this group.”
Wales have also suffered notable injuries, losing number eight Aaron Wainwright and centre Owen Watkin in the first half.
A bloodied Wainwright took a blow to his head, while Watkin suffered a suspected serious knee injury that will require further assessment.
“They are not looking great,” said Gatland.
“Owen is in a brace with his knee, and it looks like it could be an ACL [anterior cruciate ligament] and Aaron needs another HIA [head injury assessment] and has quite a ****** gash in his face down through his lip.”

Humanoid robot punched, pinned down in a humiliating webcast, sparks outrage
Humanoid robot punched, pinned down in a humiliating webcast, sparks outrage
A viral livestream featuring a $70,000 humanoid robot has sparked debate over human behavior toward machines.
In the stream, influencer Kai Cenat and two others are seen mishandling a Unitree G1 humanoid while attempting to assemble it.
The footage, taken from Cenat’s latest broadcast, has drawn criticism, raising ethical concerns about the treatment of advanced robotics.
While artificial intelligence (AI) lacks emotions, the incident highlights broader questions about how humans interact with machines as they become more lifelike and integrated into daily life.
Robot abuse controversy
The viral video, which depicts Cenat and two other streamers, Agent and Fanum, abusing the humanoid robot during a broadcast, has generated discussion on social media. The three of them first tried to teach the robot simple commands like walking, but their behavior soon became more aggressive.
The robot stumbled in the video after being kicked from behind by one of Cenat’s buddies and then by Cenat himself. They pushed it around, eventually causing it to collapse again, even though they assisted it in standing up. The humanoid was once pushed into a stack of crates. Later, it tried to flee in the direction of a door, but one of the group members caught it and pinned it down.
Many viewers have compared the video to the beginning of a robot rebellion, and the video has been extensively shared on X and other platforms. The incident highlights moral concerns about how people should behave around sophisticated robotics, even though it is still up for dispute.

The clip was later reposted on X by gamer and journalist Ian Miles Cheong, who captioned it, “Abusing robots seems so wrong. If this thing has AI built-in, it’s going to remember the trauma.” The video has since accumulated over 100,000 views, drawing widespread criticism. Many viewers condemned the streamers’ actions, calling them unethical and raising concerns about the treatment of advanced robots.
During his Mafiathon 2 event in November, Cenat showcased a $24,000 robot assistant at his $55 million mansion. The Eve humanoid from 1X Technologies handled chores, security, and entertainment, adding to the lavish 30-day event aimed at breaking subscriber records and raising funds for schools in Nigeria, set in his expansive 14-bedroom estate.
Advanced humanoid robot
The G1 Edu Ultimate CU5 humanoid robot, recently purchased by Kai Cenat for $70,000, has drawn attention for its advanced features and hefty price tag. Manufactured by Unitree, this model is among the most expensive in the G1 series, surpassing the $16,000 base version when customized with additional capabilities.
Weighing 77 lbs (35 kg) , the G1 Edu is designed for dynamic environments, including sports and research applications. It has 41 degrees of freedom, fully articulated limbs, and sophisticated five-fingered hands that can manipulate objects precisely. Its high-speed synchronous motors and industrial-grade cross-roller bearings offer durability and accuracy; each arm can support 6.6 lbs (3 kg), and the knee joint can generate up to 120 Nm of torque.
A manual remote control operates the G1 Edu, but it may eventually be able to operate autonomously thanks to future over-the-air upgrades. It has a speaker and a four-microphone array, which could enable speech interaction when combined with ChatGPT or other AI models.
The robot runs on a 9,000 mAh lithium battery for about two hours, and its processing capability may be increased with an optional Nvidia Jetson Orin module.
The G1 Edu has a depth camera and 3D LiDAR for sensing and navigation, which guarantees accurate environmental interaction. It’s Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 provide smooth connectivity.
The robot is highly configurable since Unitree provides comprehensive technical assistance and is designed for secondary development. Recent developments in the G1 series have added whole-body movement, running, and even football-playing skills, however its current usefulness is still restricted.
Regarding the incident in question, while AI lacks emotions, the development has sparked debate over human responsibility in interacting with increasingly lifelike machines.
