Shift Up Could Be Planning On Using Stellar Blade’s PC Release as A Gambling Chip For a Sequel
Shift Up Could Be Planning On Using Stellar Blade’s PC Release as A Gambling Chip For a Sequel
Shift Up’s 2024 game, Stellar Blade, proved to be one of the most successful games of this year despite the controversies related to its protagonist. Thanks to its success on PlayStation 5, Shift Up has now announced that the game will be released on Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2025. While this news is exciting, most of the fanbase has been eagerly waiting for Stellar Blade‘s sequel. It seems like Sony and Shift Up are taking things slow as a PC release would further determine if it would be feasible to create a sequel.

About six months ago, Shift Up’s financial report confirmed that the studio was considering a PC release and sequel for the game. It seems like Shift Up is currently getting over the first step: a PC release. After this, we should expect the studio to start working on a sequel.
Stellar Blade‘s PC Release Might Play A Key Role In The Development Of A Sequel
Shift Up’s latest financial report has confirmed that Stellar Blade will be released on Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2025. This PC release will play an important role in setting up the franchise’s future as Shift Up is clearly attempting to understand the trend. Investing so much time and resources on a sequel would certainly be useless if the game fails to sell on PC.
There’s a slim chance that the game fails to perform on PC as there have been many PlayStation exclusives that have performed exceptionally on PC, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is one such example.
There was some controversy due to the portrayal of Eve, the game’s protagonist. Many accused Shift Up of objectifying Eve as a way to market the game. Despite these setbacks, Stellar Blade performed well, selling over 1 million units by June 2024.
Shift Up Is Sure That Stellar Blade PC Will Perform Better Than PS5 Version
Fans are eagerly waiting for a sequel (Image via Shift Up)
Further in the financial report, Shift Up stated that the success of ****** Myth: Wukong has convinced them that the PC version will perform better than the PlayStation 5 version. Stellar Blade was launched for the PlayStation 5 on April 26, 2024, and quickly became one of the most popular games around the world. The PS5 version was well-received by the fans so it’s safe to say that PC players won’t be disappointed.
We can expect Shift Up to start working on the sequel after the release of the PC version. In May, the studio’s financial report confirmed that they are considering a PC release and sequel for the game. The first phase of its plan will be wrapped up by 2025 when Stellar Blade releases on PC, so shortly after that, we can expect Shift Up to start working on the sequel.

Did Helldivers 2 Give Our First Ever Glimpse of Terminids Using Proper Military Strategy?
Did Helldivers 2 Give Our First Ever Glimpse of Terminids Using Proper Military Strategy?
Many Helldivers 2 players prefer Terminid missions over Automatons primarily because dealing with bugs can be easier on most difficulty levels. Unfortunately, it seems like that will soon not be the case as we’ve got hints that Terminids are no longer mindlessly attacking Helldivers, but they are using clever strategies to take down Super Earth’s fearless soldiers.
Helldivers 2 players believe that the Terminids are evolving (Image via Arrowhead Game Studios)
Helldivers 2 is making a strong comeback as players are satisfied with the recent updates from Arrowhead Game Studios. The game was a massive hit when it was initially released but gamers soon got bored of the concept, plus Arrowhead’s efforts to add new content ******* to amuse the community. Finally, the studio is heading down the right path as the game’s active player count is looking good again.
Are Terminids In Helldivers 2 Evolving?
A viral post on the r/Helldivers2 subreddit shows that a Terminid Shrieker stalled a Helldiver until a Hellbomb was dropped. It appears like Terminids are finally understanding Super Earth’s strategy. The rest of the community is also speculating that Terminids might be learning.

It’s no secret that Super Earth has been exploiting Terminids for quite some time now. It seems like the faction is preparing for a big war against Super Earth. We’ve got hints about the existence of Hive Lords in the game, but so far, they’ve not appeared on the battlefield. Things will get far more chaotic the day these units come out of hiding.
Helldivers 2 Needs Some Fresh Content
The game needs new content to stay relevant (Image via Arrowhead Game Studios)
After the poor reception of Helldivers 2‘s first major update, Escalation of Freedom, Arrowhead decided to change its strategy. The game lost a major chunk of its player base due to nerfs and disappointing updates. The studio then carefully analyzed players’ feedback to improve the game.
The recent updates have been a hit among the community as Arrowhead has buffed many fan-favorite weapons and Stratagems like Flamethrower and Railgun. For now, players are satisfied but the game still needs some new content to maintain a steady active player count.
What the game really needs is a new ****** faction and Arrowhead has been teasing the invasion of the Illuminate for many months now. The Illuminate, a race of super-advanced psychic aliens, was a part of the first Helldivers game. The Illuminate was said to be extinct after the first game. However, the formation of the ****** ***** in the place of Meridia has convinced the community that Illuminate will use it to start its invasion.

Jake Paul admits conscious decision not to hit Mike Tyson with knockout punch
Jake Paul says he made the conscious decision not to knock boxing legend Mike Tyson out during their blockbuster bout on Saturday afternoon (AEDT).
A 58-year-old Tyson stepped back into the ring for the first time in 19 years to ****** Paul, a 27-year-old YouTuber and social media influencer-turned fighter.
Paul shocked almost no one when he dominated the ****** to claim a unanimous decision in front of more than 70,000 at AT&T Stadium, with over 60 million households tuning in.
Tyson showed life early in the ****** but struggled to ***** a shot as it wore on.
The older man looked ripe for the picking but Paul held back from delivering the knockout *****, instead even bowing towards his opponent in the final 10 seconds of the contest in a show of respect.
Speaking after the ******, Paul said he didn’t want to do any more damage to Tyson.
Asked specifically if he held punches back due to Tyson’s tiring condition, Paul said: “Yeah, definitely. Definitely a bit.
“I wanted to give the fans a show but I didn’t want to hurt someone that didn’t need to be hurt.”
The underwhelming spectacle sparked a vexed response from the crowd, who were somewhat disappointed at the competitiveness of the ******, but didn’t want to boo a champion.

Former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew said Paul deserves credit for reading the room well enough to resist going for the knockout.
“I don’t like this ******* ****** **** but I will say this. He stopped beating on Mike there and showed him some respect and dignity by letting him survive,” Bellew said.
“He didn’t go for the KO there, he stepped off him and let him be.
“Mike we all adore you, king, your (sic) a super hero to all of us from the proper ****** business!”
Meantime, Netflix’s first attempt at handling a live sports event was less than ideal, with the coverage experiencing common streaming problems.
Many vented their frustrations with streaming and buffering problems before and during the ******.
According to the website Down Detector, nearly 85,000 viewers logged problems with outages or streaming leading up to the ******.
The bout was Netflix’s biggest live sports event to date, and an opportunity to make sure it can handle audience demand with the NFL and WWE on the horizon. It was available to stream globally to Netflix’s 280 million subscribers at no additional cost.
Netflix will broadcast two NFL games on Christmas Day and will begin streaming WWE Raw on January 6.

‘Remarkable’ 2,000-year-old gladiator ****** handle discovery shows Rome’s reach
‘Remarkable’ 2,000-year-old gladiator ****** handle discovery shows Rome’s reach
Archaeologists have uncovered a rare Roman-era ****** handle shaped like a gladiator in the River Tyne near Corbridge Roman Town, located along Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland, England.
Believed to be approximately 2,000 years old, the intricately crafted copper-alloy artifact is a testimony to the far-reaching cultural influence of gladiatorial combat within the Roman Empire, even at its northernmost frontier.
Dr. Frances McIntosh, Collections Curator for English Heritage, called the discovery “particularly remarkable” given its excellent preservation and rarity in Britain.
The ****** handle depicts a muscular secutor, a type of heavily armored gladiator known for close-combat prowess. The secutor is characterized by a large shield, sword, and rounded helmet designed to protect against the net-wielding retiarius, their traditional adversary in Roman arenas.
Gladiatorial fame and Roman sporting memorabilia
Remarkably, the figurine on the handle is left-handed—an uncommon and historically significant detail, as left-handedness was considered a bad omen in ancient Rome. Scholars speculate that this unique feature might represent a specific gladiator, possibly an individual celebrated for overcoming the stigma or for tactical prowess in the arena.
“Despite being enslaved and socially outcast due to their profession, gladiators could become huge celebrities. Gladiators and the ‘spectacles’ were an integral part of Roman cultural life, taking place all across the Roman Empire,” McIntosh said.
“Gladiators had **** appeal and there are cases of high-status Roman women falling ‘in love’ with these lowly fighters, despite the vast social difference. This beautifully made ****** handle is a testament to how pervasive this celebrity culture was.”
Gladiatorial games were a cornerstone of Roman public entertainment, held in amphitheaters across the empire from 105 BCE to 404 CE. These events, often brutal and fatal, attracted massive audiences and served as displays of wealth and power for the Roman elite, including emperors.
While Rome’s Colosseum ******** the most iconic venue, archaeological evidence attests to similar spectacles occurring throughout the empire, including Britain. The fascination with gladiators extended to consumer goods, with memorabilia like ceramics, glassware, lamps, and figurines commemorating these fighters.
A glimpse into Roman life at Corbridge
The site of the discovery, Corbridge Roman Town, known as Corstopitum during Roman times, was a bustling supply hub for Hadrian’s Wall. Established in 79 CE and occupied until the Roman withdrawal from Britain around 400 CE, Corbridge served as a vital link in the empire’s northern defense network.
Among other finds recovered from the River Tyne is a painted glass fragment depicting a leopard, thought to be part of a venatio scene—an animal hunt staged alongside gladiatorial fights as part of Roman games. These artifacts collectively offer a vivid picture of daily life and entertainment in Roman Britain.
The enduring allure of gladiators is evident not only in ancient artifacts but also in modern pop culture, exemplified by the excitement surrounding the upcoming release of Gladiator II. Dr. McIntosh highlighted this cultural continuity, saying, “Even now, almost 2,000 years later, the fascination around gladiators persists.”
English Heritage plans to display the ****** handle alongside other finds from the river at Corbridge Roman Town in 2025, offering visitors a glimpse into the vibrant cultural and social life of Roman Britain. This exhibit promises to connect ancient history with contemporary curiosity, further bridging the centuries-long fascination with these iconic warriors.

Dorit and PK Kemsley’s Mansion in Pre-Foreclosure After Missing ‘More Than Four Months of Payments’
Dorit and PK Kemsley’s Mansion in Pre-Foreclosure After Missing ‘More Than Four Months of Payments’
The perfect little life that Dorit Kemsley and PK Kemsley built together is slowly coming apart at the seams. It all started when the two announced they were separating after admitting to years of marital “struggles.” The latest chapter in this heartbreaking saga: their $7.5 million mansion is allegedly in pre-foreclosure after the couple missed months of payments.
Missing one month when you’re going through a marital crisis is understandable. Two months is pushing it. The Kemsleys, however, have supposedly missed a whopping four months of mortgage payments. Now, the clock is ticking for them to save their home.
Another crisis for the Kemsleys
The news of Dorit and PK’s housing troubles arrived via The Sun. The outlet obtained records that showed a default filed against their Encino home on October 16, 2024.
Fans of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills know this home well. The couple bought it for $6.5 million in 2019. Since then, Dorit has hosted a handful of chic parties in the sprawling estate, taking full advantage of the indoor/outdoor entertaining space. Plus, this is the same house that was targeted by burglars back in 2021.
Since Dorit and PK’s house is in a pre-foreclosure status, they still have time to save their home. It isn’t a lost cause. They just need to pay all of their missed payments in one lump sum. However, when you’re four months behind, that might be easier said than done.
Other options for the Kemsleys include filing for bankruptcy or hiring a foreclosure attorney. If they don’t act soon, the bank can move forward with foreclosing on the property, meaning Dorit and the kids would need to pack up and get out.
In addition to falling short on their mortgage, the couple have been entangled with the IRS over a $1 million tax debt. On top of that, Dorit recently just settled an outstanding debt of her own over a closet reorganization service. She owed the company a whopping $8,556.15, all for a closet that she might not be able to keep.
Dorit and PK haven’t commented on their latest financial trouble, but we’ve got our fingers crossed that the couple can figure out their latest mess. Otherwise, they better start looking for apartments.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 premieres Tuesday, November 19 at 8/7c on Bravo.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON PK AND DORIT MISSING FOUR MONTHS OF MORTGAGE PAYMENTS? DO YOU THINK THEY CAN SAVE THEIR HOUSE FROM FORECLOSURE?

A mass ritual sacrifice of young children to a rain **** in 15th-century Mexico coincided with a deadly drought in the region, according to new research.
The skeletal ******** of at least 42 children, ages 2 to 7, were discovered at Templo Mayor, the most significant temple complex in Tenochtitlán, now Mexico City, in 1980 and 1981.
The skeletons, which were facing up and had their limbs contracted, were placed inside ashlar boxes on a layer of sand. Some were adorned with finery such as necklaces and had green stone beads in their mouths.
Now, new research has revealed that the sacrifices were likely an attempt to end a great drought in the region by making offerings to the rain **** Tláloc. The research was presented last week at the ninth Liberation through knowledge meeting: “Water and Life” at Mexico’s National College.
“At first, the Mexica state tried to mitigate its effects by opening the royal granaries to redistribute food among the neediest classes, while carrying out mass sacrifices of children in the Templo Mayor to calm the fury of the tlaloque [rain dwarves who were assistants of Tláloc],” Leonardo López Luján, an archaeologist and director of the National Institute of Anthropology and History’s (INAH) Templo Mayor Project, said at the meeting. “For a time, it faced the tragedy this way, but the excessive duration of the crisis made the state vulnerable, forcing it to allow the mass exodus of its people.”
To find out why the mass offering was performed, INAH researchers studied geological data alongside entries in the ******** Drought Atlas, which showed that a major drought occurred across central Mexico between 1452 and 1454.
Related: ‘An offering to energize the fields’: 76 child sacrifice victims, all with their chests cut open, unearthed at burial site in Peru
The drought, which took place during the reign of Moctezuma I and the construction of the Templo Mayor, decimated harvests, devastated populations in the region and forced starving families to sell children to nearby towns in exchange for food, according to López Luján.

“Everything seems to indicate that droughts in early summer would have affected the germination, growth and flowering of plants prior to the canícula [dog days of summer], while autumn frosts would have attacked corn before it had ripened,” López Luján said. “Thus, the concurrence of both phenomena would have destroyed the harvests and led to occurrences of prolonged famine.”
In an effort to alleviate the crisis, the sacrificed children’s bodies were sprinkled with blue pigment, seashells and small birds and were surrounded by 11 sculptures made of volcanic rock.
The sculptures were made to resemble the face of Tláloc, the Aztec **** of rain, water and fertility. In fact, the adornment of the children was likely an attempt to make the children resemble rain dwarves, López Luján said.

Dolphins welcome Bennett back for hyped NRL blockbuster
Dolphins welcome Bennett back for hyped NRL blockbuster
Two months ago Wayne Bennett pre-empted the hype around next season’s confirmed round-one clash between the Dolphins and South Sydney with a typical quip.
“Next year I am sure there will be a lot of interest in the Rabbitohs versus Dolphins, but one thing you can bet on is that I won’t be buying into the bulls***,” Bennett joked at the Dolphins’ presentation night.
The former Dolphins coach, now at the helm of the Rabbitohs, returns to Suncorp Stadium on March 7 for a Friday night blockbuster where a crowd of 40,000-plus is on the cards.
His former assistant Kristian Woolf will coach his first NRL game after a seamless transition following Bennett’s exit.
Dolphins CEO Terry Reader said it was “a wonderful way to kick off 2025” for fans and members.
“We welcome Wayne back and Woolfy will be there in his first official game as our head coach, even though he’s been here from the start,” Reader told AAP.
“One thing about rugby league is that it provides storylines and narratives. I have no doubt Woolfy and Wayne will want to get one over each other on that opening night, and more importantly get their teams off to a winning start. What an occasion.”
Bennett’s exit from the Dolphins was on the best of terms, in stark contrast to his bitter parting with Brisbane after they sacked him in 2018.
He did a post-season press conference with the former Queensland premier about funding for the Dolphins’ new centre of excellence.
Just days before officially taking over at the Rabbitohs, Bennett also attended a function with club partners to detail the impact the Dolphins have had in the Moreton Bay region.
“Wayne was very involved until the very end and we will be indebted to him for what he helped set up,” Reader said.
“Thankfully we had Kristian there doing it all with him and now he takes over.”
Bennett’s presentation-night speeches are traditionally less than five minutes. His last words at the Dolphins were moving and full of optimism for a club he was so integral in setting up.
“When I look at the Dolphins’ future I have great confidence in it. We have some wonderful young players and I have no doubt about their future,” Bennett said.
“I am confident in Kristian. I worked with him for two years on a deal we had all worked out before he came.
“He will do a wonderful job and has a team that will play for him and will help the Dolphins become one of the great sides in the competition. It is two or three years away, but it will happen.
“To the playing group … I have great admiration for you. I am a 37-year NRL coach and I am as proud of you as I have been of any team I have coached.
“Thanks for your support and I hope we meet again somewhere.”
That “somewhere” will be the 74-year-old’s field of dreams. The master coach may well say he won’t be buying into the hullabaloo around his Suncorp Stadium return, but his presentation-night one-liner had the crowd in stitches and ensured interest will be sky-high.

The Controversial Take That Will Rile Up ********* Gamers
The Controversial Take That Will Rile Up ********* Gamers
While it’s common to see different game franchises spark a few conflicting opinions every now and then, Halo, especially the early games, has never truly been a part of it all. In fact, finding someone taking aim at this iconic franchise is about as rare as actually catching a shiny Pokémon.
Master Chief and the ******* in Infinite – Image Credit: 343 Industries.
So, when such opinions do pop up every now and then, consider ourselves utterly baffled by what said person is trying to cook up. Keeping that in mind, while we ourselves don’t have a horse in this race (for now), let’s take a look at what aspects might potentially make the Halo games “not” click for someone.
Is the Halo Series Really as Lacking as Few Make It Out to Be?
Master Chief driving the Warthog in Halo: CE – Image Credit: Bungie.
Let’s start with perhaps the spiciest take of all that we found. It simply dismisses Halo as average and goes so far as to say that Master Chief—yes, John-117—looks like a rip-off of ***** Guy.
Comment byu/Bricklesworth from discussion inpcgaming
Not only that, but the guy argues that Halo didn’t innovate enough and simply borrowed from earlier FPS games like Quake, *****, and Half-Life. Not sure how we feel about that, chief.
The next one, however, while not as wild, tries to present a somewhat more reasonable take, contending that the games made by 343—now the already-controversial Halo Studios—weren’t exactly as bad as people made them out to be and, more importantly, the difference between 4 to Infinite and CE to Reach isn’t as big as people make it out to be.
The final one, if we’re being honest, is the one some might find the strangest. The OP shares how they never felt the draw of Halo while comparing it unfavorably to Titanfall 2 and admitting that they simply cannot grasp the hype surrounding these games.
These are, ultimately, completely subjective takes, and while controversial, they do reflect some common critiques of the series that newcomers might have—from claims of uninspired design to gameplay repetition.
But objectively speaking, what these hot takes miss out on is how you really had to be there when these games were at their absolute peak to genuinely understand what the deal truly was with this series and why it is still, to this day, regarded by many as one of the greatest of all time.
The Halo Series Was an Incredible Achievement in the 2000s

At the end of the day, objectively speaking, the series had one of the biggest impacts on gaming during the 2000s, and it’s hard to deny the series’ accomplishments.
Let’s start with Combat Evolved first. With features like rechargeable health, adding more personality to the enemies with the way they talk, coordinate, and behave, and revolutionizing console shooters overnight, it’s a little unjustified to pass it off as a ***** clone.
Then there’s the impact of the second game and its online multiplayer, for which people wait entire days in line just to grab a copy. With Xbox Live integration, it set a new standard for online gaming on consoles and popularized matchmaking systems that are followed to this day.
It’s important not to forget 3, ODST, and Reach, too. These games went way past the medium and were one of the few titles that just about everyone—even one’s grandparents—knew and was excited about. These titles not only perfected the gameplay loop of the series but also brought enough lore and features to help the series be appreciated by fans for years to come.
Even 343/Halo Studios, for all the mistakes it made, tried to provide us with a fresh perspective on the series, humanizing Master Chief in a way that wasn’t seen before. Even if they might never wholly succeed with their experiments, their projects still have a lot of heart and care put into them.
All that is to say, whether you love Halo or hate it, it’s important to think of what they accomplished at each specific point in time when all the entries first came out. When you think about it like that, no hot take can truly dethrone Halo from its place as one of the most ground-breaking FPS franchises of all time.
But with all that said, what are your thoughts on all this? Do you think the series lives up to the hype, or do you side with the hot takes we mentioned above? Let us know in the comments below!

Race car driver ******* to help dying man in Las Vegas hotel room, lawsuit alleges
Race car driver ******* to help dying man in Las Vegas hotel room, lawsuit alleges
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A professional race car driver is accused of advising partygoers in a Las Vegas Strip hotel room not to call security after an ******* that later claimed a man’s life, the victim’s mother alleges in a lawsuit filed in a Las Vegas court.
Vera Tapp, the mother of Christopher Tapp who ***** in November 2023, filed the civil suit Thursday against John Odom; his company, Odom Racing; Resorts World Las Vegas and Vegas Nights VIP.
Dan Rodimer, a former Nevada *********** congressional candidate and ex-wrestler, faces charges for allegedly attacking Tapp on Oct. 29, 2023. Doctors pronounced Tapp ***** at a Las Vegas hospital on Nov. 5. Dan Rodimer is not named as a defendant in the lawsuit.
The Clark County coroner’s office ruled Tapp’s ****** a ********* as a result of blunt force trauma to his head, documents said. A scan showed he suffered several brain bleeds.
Las Vegas Metro police issued an arrest warrant in March for Dan Rodimer, 45, for the ****** of Christoper Tapp, 47. Tapp ***** after an incident at Resorts World on Oct. 29, 2023. A Clark County grand jury indicted Dan Rodimer on the ******* charge earlier this year. (KLAS)
“Defendant John Odom was in the master bedroom when the ******* occurred, and during the *******, two loud ******** noises were heard by persons who attended the party,” the complaint said. “After the ******* occurred, defendant John Odom and Daniel Rodimer exited the bedroom and defendant John Odom loudly said not to call security.”
None of the defendants called for medical service despite knowing Tapp was severely injured, according to the complaint.
“After laying concussed in the master bedroom for a significant ******* of time, Resorts World’s security was contacted,” the complaint stated. Odom told security Tapp slipped and fell, the complaint alleges.
Medical personnel arrived 20 to 30 minutes later, according to the complaint. The complaint also alleged defendants did not provide security for the party and ******* to timely render aid to Tapp after he was attacked.
Police initially suspected Tapp ***** of an “apparent overdose” and “fall,” according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained earlier this year. However, after interviews with witnesses, police believe Dan Rodimer attacked Tapp after he allegedly offered Dan Rodimer’s model stepdaughter ******** during the party.
Investigators later said they learned Tapp — who himself was acquitted of ******* after serving two decades in prison — had been involved in an altercation inside the hotel room before he was found and taken to the hospital.
A grand jury later indicted Dan Rodimer for *******.
A witness claimed to hear Dan Rodimer say, “If you ever talk to my daughter again, I’ll [expletive] ***** you,” documents said. “Immediately after hearing Dan say this to Christopher, [the witness] heard two loud ******** noises,” police said.

A second witness told police she saw “Dan knock Christopher to the ground, at which time Christopher’s head hit a small table.” She then said she witnessed Dan Rodimer “punch Christopher throughout his head and body,” documents said.
Another witness told a person attending the hotel room party that Tapp slipped and fell and hit his head on a coffee table, according to the documents. Other witnesses told police several people used ******** at the party.
It does not appear anyone at the party ever called 911, according to documents.
Evidence obtained by the 8 News Now Investigators included a video of Rodimer dressed as shirtless “Ken” for the Halloween party and to celebrate Odom and his image on the side of the exterior of Resorts World.
A witness told the grand jury she is a friend of Dan Rodimer’s stepdaughter and that Tapp offered her and the stepdaughter ********, documents said. Later, Dan Rodimer allegedly made the threat to Tapp when Dan Rodimer’s wife, Sarah Rodimer, entered the room, dressed as “Barbie” in an attempt to calm down her husband.
According to grand jury transcripts, the witness said Sarah Rodimer told her the next day not to say anything if law enforcement asked.
“She said if anyone asks you about it, law enforcement wise, to say you didn’t see anything,” the witness told the grand jury. “She said you don’t want to get involved in this.”
Investigators also obtained text messages between Dan Rodimer and Sarah Rodimer where Sarah Rodimer said: “I watched you nearly ******* somebody and I had to take your [expletive] hands off from his neck as he ***** there and you ran away and I spent the next two hours trying to take care of him. Nobody should have to watch their husband ******* somebody.”
Dan Rodimer faces a ******* charge for the ****** of Christopher Tapp, 47. Tapp ***** days after Rodimer allegedly punched him inside Resorts World on the Las Vegas Strip on Oct. 29, 2023. (KLAS)
Dan Rodimer’s attorneys, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, previously argued that text messages from Sarah Rodimer should not be part of the evidence in the case. At the time of their client’s arrest, they said Dan Rodimer intended to ****** the charge. The attorneys also told a judge some grand jury testimony was impermissible, however, the judge later denied their claims.
Tapp, of Idaho, was previously charged in the 1996 ***** and ******* of an 18-year-old, despite being excluded by DNA evidence, according to the Innocence Project. He was convicted in 1998 on charges of first-degree *******, *****, and use of a deadly *******, and sentenced later that year to life in prison with a minimum sentence of 30 years for the ******* conviction and 10 years for the ***** conviction.
On July 17, 2019, Tapp’s ******* conviction was vacated.
In 2020 Dan Rodimer, a former professional wrestler, lost his bid to represent Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District against Democratic Rep. Susie Lee. Dan Rodimer lost the 2020 election to Lee by nearly 13,000 votes — or 3 percentage points. He later left Nevada and lost a bid to represent Texas’ 6th Congressional District, coming in 11th in a 2021 primary.
Dan Rodimer remained out of custody Friday on $200,000 bond. A jury trial was scheduled for February.
As of November, Odom, Sarah Rodimer and other partygoers had not been criminally charged.
Attorneys for Vera Tapp filed the civil complaint in Clark County District Court. The 8 News Now Investigators previously reached out to Odom last May, and again Friday evening. The 8 News Now Investigators also reached out to Resorts World on Friday evening.

Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma welcomes new-born son but set to miss Perth Test
Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma welcomes new-born son but set to miss Perth Test
Indian captain Rohit Sharma has reportedly been set to miss the first Test against Australia as the visitor’s top order continues to remain a mystery.
Reports out of India say that Sharma, 37, will remain in Mumbai after he and his wife welcomed their second child on Friday night.
The destructive top-order batter is likely to be available for the second Test in Adelaide which starts on December 6.
Sharma’s absence is a big ***** for the touring side, who are also set to be without young star Shubman Gill after he reportedly broke his thumb at a training session on Saturday in Perth.
Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will almost certainly captain the Indian side in Sharma’s absence.
Meanwhile, veteran KL Rahul is also in doubt after he took a ***** to the elbow, but he was seen training on Sunday just days out from the series opener.
Rahul will likely open the batting alongside exciting youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal, while wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant could be pulled up the order after a solid series in the loss to New Zealand last month.
It could open the door for Abhimanyu Easwaran to make his Test debut, with the 29-year-old one of only nine specialty batters named in the squad.
The 29-year-old averages nearly 48.87 from 101 first-class games, including 27 centuries, but he struggled in two games for India A, scoring 36 runs from four innings.
Sharma is yet to dominate Australia in the longest format, scoring only one century from 12 Tests, while he averages only 31.38 in the country from just 14 innings with three half-centuries.
Gill averages more than 50 in Australia after making his debut at the MCG in the 2020 Boxing Day Test, scoring two half-centuries in six innings.
Their absence puts significant pressure on superstar Virat Kohli, who scored a Test century in his only match at Perth Stadium.
Kohli has scored an incredible six Test centuries in 13 matches in Australia with the last of them an incredible 123 in the first innings of a 146-run loss back in December 2018.

The former skipper’s decline has been publicly debated, with Kohli scoring only two Test centuries in the past five years and has passed 50 only twice in his last 12 innings.
In the shock three-Test series loss to New Zealand, Kohli averaged only 15.50 with one half century and five scores 17 or lower.

Adrian Barich: Why do cyclists on the road have the capacity to inflame some driver’s emotions?
Adrian Barich: Why do cyclists on the road have the capacity to inflame some driver’s emotions?
I was driving down Perry Lakes Drive the other weekend. It was a beautiful Perth morning, and I was heading to City Beach for a swim.
It was pretty early, about 7am, and the weird thing was that despite the fact I wasn’t in a hurry and it was a Sunday, when I came upon a peloton of about 15-20 cyclists I still had to ****** the urge to get a bit ******.
You see, for at least part of the trip — I’d estimate about a kilometre — I had to sit behind the men in lycra and drop my speed by at least 20km an hour. And to really rub salt into the wound, some of the cyclists were riding two abreast and a few of the cheeky buggers were even three bikes across.
And guess what? Even when we turned left into Oceanic Drive, they did not immediately revert to single file; they had the temerity to take up almost a whole lane. Fortunately, there was a second one and I was able to move past them and arrive probably only two minutes later than I could have had they not been on the road.
Of course, being at least a partially evolved human being, I checked my emotions during this entire ordeal, taking a deep breath and pondering why the whole situation had me feeling so unfavourably towards my fellow man.
Why do cyclists on the road have the capacity to inflame some people’s emotions? Why is there a seemingly unending battle between motorists and cyclists, as one-sided a contest as the old Cowboys and Indians in a Western movie?
Drivers tend to think they own the road and if cyclists do not pay them enough respect, they can often get very ******.
I’d also say riding through Welshpool early in the morning, for example, is fraught with danger and generally not recommended as the trucks and heavy vehicles fill the roads.
This is all leading me to some of the theories being floated in certain circles as to why there is this perpetual conflict . . . and apparently it’s because cyclists are seen as a ********* that gets a free ride (so to speak).
According to one researcher, separating cars and bicycles into their own lanes perpetuates a form of historical domination that means drivers feel more entitled to the road even when there isn’t a bike lane. Some cycling activists have even likened the segregation to being a form of “infrastructural apartheid”.
Studies revealed that motorists and cyclists have distinct identities, involving both their sense of themselves and of the other group of road users. Even among cyclists, there was a widespread sense that cars are the “natural” vehicles of the road.
It all gets pretty complicated, so my suggestion is to just be kind to each other and keep some perspective. A shared code of conduct could even be worth a look.
I’ve also read about the “Idaho stop”, which permits cyclists in that US state to treat stop signs as give-way signs and roll through when the way is clear. Safety is the first concern, of course, but research has shown this small measure actually increases safety on the roads for both car drivers and cyclists.
But spare a thought for a cyclist I know who takes it upon himself to police the roads armed only with a camera on his helmet. He records any drivers who he considers to be breaking the law and sends the vision to ****** Stoppers (or so he reckons).
Maybe he’s exaggerating but the way he tells it, if he rides past you at a red light and you are in the driver’s seat checking your phone while you wait for the light to change, he’ll dob you in. He says he’s also caught people shaving, putting on make-up and even brushing their teeth while driving.
As my mum always says “no one likes snitches” but apparently this bloke has made a hobby out of it. Who knows, maybe he doesn’t really send his pictures to the police; perhaps he’s just trying to shame car drivers into obeying the road rules.
Clearly he’s brave, as I’m sure some car drivers wouldn’t take kindly to being filmed. But he says he’s saving lives and helping his fellow cyclists get justice on the road.
I don’t know what you think but I imagine some of you might consider him a bit misguided. Nice chap but that’s going a bit far etc.
But we need to also consider that he has apparently also provided plenty of evidence of people hooning or causing accidents.

Penn State, football player sued after 6-year-old was injured by electric scooter on campus
Penn State, football player sued after 6-year-old was injured by electric scooter on campus
The father of a young boy who was injured in an electric scooter ****** at University Park filed a negligence lawsuit Tuesday against Penn State and the football player who hit him.
Shane Richard, of Union County, said in the lawsuit his son was seriously injured when hit about 6:10 p.m. Feb. 18 by an e-scooter operated by Penn State football freshman defensive tackle De’Andre Cook.
The child was walking in the crosswalk near 223 N. Burrowes Road when he was hit at what the filing described as a high rate of speed. Attorney Rich Godshall told the Centre Daily Times on Friday the child was walking with his parents when he was hit.
Cook is listed as 6 feet, 4 inches tall and 282 pounds. The child, who was 6 years old at the time, weighed 55 pounds, the filing said.
He was treated for two pelvic fractures, a broken foot and received four staples in his head, Godshall wrote in the filing. Godshall declined Friday to share an update on the child’s condition.
Cook pleaded guilty in March to two summary citations; he paid $238 in fines.
Penn State was accused in the lawsuit of violating its policy that bans e-scooters on campus by providing them only to student-athletes, something the lawsuit cast as “special favoritism.”
A Penn State spokesman declined comment Friday, citing the university’s policy against generally speaking publicly about ongoing litigation.
Electric scooters are considered motor-driven devices, which are banned from campus paths and roadways in most circumstances.
“Motor-driven devices that do not meet the PA Vehicle Code requirements for operation on a public highway are prohibited from use on university property,” Penn State’s official policy reads.
The lawsuit seeks more than $100,000. Cook has not appeared in a game this season for the Nittany Lions.

Economists look to RBA minutes for clue on future rates
Economists look to RBA minutes for clue on future rates
Attention will turn to the Reserve Bank of Australia with the minutes from its last board meeting due as well as speeches by senior officials.
The central bank’s opinion of Thursday’s job figures will be of particular interest, with the October numbers a mixed bag.
While job creation underwhelmed, it was the first weaker figure after a long run of surprisingly strong employment growth.
That lower number was accompanied by a step down in the participation rate – the percentage of people either employed or on the job hunt – which kept the unemployment rate steady at 4.1 per cent, for the third month in a row.
The undercurrent of labour market resilience was enough to prompt National Australia Bank to push back its prediction for interest rate cuts from February to May.
The bank’s economists said there was little urgency for the RBA to pull the trigger on easing while the unemployment rate was so low and progress on inflation so gradual.
The first RBA communications will come on Monday from assistant governor Christopher Kent, who is due to deliver the Sir Leslie Melville Lecture in Canberra.
On Tuesday, the minutes from the last meeting will be released.
On Thursday, RBA governor Michele Bullock will deliver a speech to the Women in Payments Conference in Sydney.
The monthly employee earnings indicator and ****** state product numbers are the main releases of interest from the *********** Bureau of Statistics, both due on Wednesday.
Local investors will digest losses on Wall Street as the US markets reacted to cabinet picks by president-elect Donald Trump.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average on Friday fell 305.87 points, or 0.70 per cent, to 43,444.99, the S&P 500 lost 78.55 points, or 1.32 per cent, to 5,870.62 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 427.53 points, or 2.24 per cent, to 18,680.12.
*********** futures fell 26 points, or 0.31 per cent, to 8296.
The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index finished Friday at the highs of the day, rising 61.2 points, or 0.74 per cent, to 8,285.2, while the broader All Ordinaries gained 59.1 points, or 0.7 per cent, to 8,539.0.
