Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6 Direct showcase confirmed for June 9

Activision has confirmed that a previously announced mystery product showcase planned for next month will be for Call of Duty ****** Ops 6.

The Xbox Games Showcase – the first to include games across Activision Blizzard, Bethesda, and Xbox Game Studios – will be livestreamed on June 9, 2024, starting at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

****** Ops 6 will be revealed during the showcase, and be the subject of its own ‘Direct’ presentation immediately following the main Xbox event.

The ****** Ops 6 Direct promises to offer the first in-depth look at new gameplay and product announcements.

Having launched a teaser site for the game earlier this week, Activision officially confirmed today that ****** Ops 6 is this year’s Call of Duty.

It’s been claimed that the title is set in the early 1990s during the Gulf War, with development being led by Treyarch.

****** Ops 6 will also reportedly be included in Xbox Game Pass at release.
