September 10, 2026, is going to be an extremely busy day for Borderlands fans, as Borderlands 4 launches two paid DLCs, a new Vault Hunter, a free update that adds new gear and raises the level cap, and more.

was probably not the game that fans expected before release, as many hoped it would finally address the infamous war prophesied by The Watcher in The Pre-Sequel. This seems to be something for the next game, whenever it comes out, as BL4 further sets the stage for more universe-shaping events.
