, a cooperative sandbox RPG built from the ground up to be shared with friends.

Coming to PC in Q2 2027, Farhaven gives groups of up to 16 players their own private, persistent world to build, explore, and shape together.

Farhaven is not an massively multiplayer online (MMO) game. It’s a FriendMO.

Instead of sharing a world with thousands of strangers, Farhaven gives players a persistent world shared only with the friends they choose. Players farm, craft, build, and decorate their homes and town, develop relationships with NPCs, and embark on procedurally generated adventures filled with exploration and combat.

Farhaven is coming in 2027. Source: Dragon Snacks Games Farhaven combines the creativity and freedom of sandbox games, the relationship building and self-expression of life sims, and the exploration and progression of RPGs. Players construct and decorate both their own homes and their shared town, farm and fish, craft, discover recipes, develop friendships and romances with NPCs, and head out together on adventures. Everything contributes to a world that grows into the collective story of the group.

Farhaven is currently in alpha and already playable, with more than 300 people signed up for public playtesting and average game sessions of approximately 50 minutes. Dragon Snacks Games has involved players throughout development, using feedback from its growing community to shape the game as the team works toward release.

You can wishlist Farhaven on Steam. Source: Dragon Snacks Games Dragon Snacks Games was founded in 2024 by industry veterans MacLean, Menard and Chris Nemcosky. The studio’s mission is to create games that enhance connection, joy and creativity, with a focus on games as social “third places” where players can create, explore and connect beyond work, school and home.

MacLean is formerly the general manager of creator partnerships for Xbox, where her team
managed Xbox’s largest partner relationships. Menard is a veteran game designer, most recently Design Director at Oxide Games. Nemcosky, chief technical officer, has been an industry leader in game engineering and production for 20 years, across multiple genres.

He was formerly VP of Studio at Scopely, bringing “Monopoly GO!” to market, and he was VP of Engineering at Backflip Studios.
