gamescom 2026 is shaping up to be the biggest edition yet of the world’s largest gaming event, with more than 1,600 exhibitors from 67 countries set to descend on Cologne starting Aug. 24.

The show floor spans 233,000 square metres (about 2,507,991 sq ft) of gross exhibition space and is fully booked for the first time, while 47 country pavilions representing 40 countries, including first-timers Bulgaria, Cyprus, Hungary, Morocco and Nigeria, give the show its strongest international footprint to date. 70% of exhibitors are travelling from abroad, and fan demand is keeping pace, with wildcards and Saturday tickets already sold out.
