, a South Korean studio founded by veteran game developers, has revealed Waste The Fallen, a Lovecraftian extraction shooter for PC.

In Waste The Fallen, players descend into the Deep, where the Fallen, grotesque creatures born from the world’s collapse, and rival scavengers, known as the Deviants, stand between them and survival. Players must gear up, overcome the dangers below, and make it out alive, either solo or in squads of up to three.

“We wanted to make an extraction shooter that welcomes you in rather than punishing you for showing up,” said Choi, Byungnam, producer of Waste The Fallen at Royal Crow, in a press release.

“Korea has a rich history of acclaimed horror, and we wanted to bring that atmosphere into a Lovecraftian FPS. We aimed to create a world where fear gradually creeps into the player, while designing a gameplay structure that rewards curiosity and deeper exploration rather than causing players to lose everything because of a single mistake.”

Each run sends players into decaying zones filled with weapons, materials, and rare finds hidden across each map. No two runs play the same, with the Fallen, rival Deviants, and environmental threats ensuring no stash is ever safe.

The deeper players push, the better the loot, but the greater the threat posed by the Fallen. Resources gathered on each run can be used to upgrade the Bio-Arm, which every Deviant possesses, allowing players to unlock new abilities over time.

These zones are designed to unnerve anyone who enters them. The Fallen stalk the ruins, the environment itself turns hostile, and the longer a run continues, the more the world seems wrong. Waste The Fallen treats horror as something scavengers feel, not just something they see, with a Sanity system that challenges players to manage their sanity as they explore.

Survival depends on reading the silence, listening for gunfire, and knowing when to fight and when to retreat.

Getting out is the goal but losses sting less in Waste The Fallen. An oversized safebox protects more of what players earn, and fast, accessible crafting helps players bounce back after a bad run, so a single failed raid never wipes them out. Ignore the Deviants, or hunt them for their loot. Balancing risk against reward is key to every expedition.

Between expeditions, players return to a hideout they can grow. By upgrading crafting stations, unlocking better blueprints, and forging new gear, they can prepare for deeper runs. The hideout offers a space to regroup before the next descent, while supporting long-term progression that rewards every successful extraction.
