as well as a new State of Play event that will focus on the game, offering nearly 20 minutes of gameplay and serving as a deep dive into the title.

The Phantom Blade State of Play will take place on Monday, August 17, at 7 pm PT, 10 pm ET and on August 18 at 3:00 am BST.

This extended trailer features never-before-seen gameplay and reveals the game’s main story for the first time, diving deeper into protagonist Soul’s journey and the immersive Kungfupunk world of Phantom Blade Zero.

Sony has also revealed a collaboration with actor and martial artist Donnie Yen, who has served as a creative consultant on the game, with Yen “contributing his extensive martial arts and action filmmaking experience to the game’s combat and action design to create an authentic kung fu experience.” He also serves as the Facial & Motion Capture Actor for Mó Yuan.
