The crossover brings Taichi and Agumon and Yamato and Gabumon to AFK Journey as new heroes, with an original crossover story, Digivolution-powered combat abilities, a new bonding system, event missions, a dedicated crossover store, limited cosmetics, daily login rewards, social media activities, and more.

According to a press release, a dimensional rift sweeps Taichi, Yamato, Agumon, and Gabumon into Esperia. Stranded in an unfamiliar world, they set out to find a way back to the Digital World while facing the powerful Hypofiends that stand in their path.

Throughout the crossover, players will join Taichi, Yamato, Agumon, and Gabumon as they search for a way home from Esperia. By advancing the crossover story and completing related quests, players can earn event currency and upgrade materials.

Event currency can be spent in the crossover store on valuable rewards, including upgrade materials, Digimon crossover Invite Letters, and other items.

A new bonding system allows players to help Agumon and Gabumon increase their bond levels through training. Players can feed them, play with them, give them special training, and let them rest to strengthen their bonds with their partners and unlock bonuses that will help during the crossover event.

Fan favorites Taichi and Agumon and Yamato and Gabumon arrive as crossover heroes. Both duos bring their signature moves to Esperia. In battle, Agumon can Digivolve into Wargreymon, while Gabumon can Digivolve into Metalgarurumon, unleashing their full power against the enemy.

Taichi is a fifth grader with strong leadership and the drive to take action, and he holds the Crest of Courage. His partner is Agumon, an energetic Digimon. Yamato is a level-headed, responsible fifth grader who holds the Crest of Friendship. His partner is Gabumon, a Digimon who cares deeply about his friends.

Players will be able to log in during the crossover to claim the limited heroes Taichi and Agumon, and Yamato and Gabumon. Players can also log in every day to receive useful event items and additional rewards. Please check in-game for full reward details.

The crossover introduces limited outfits inspired by Taichi Yagami and Yamato Ishida. Limited hero headgear and a special crossover frame will also be available, allowing players to choose their favorite crossover look and adventure across Esperia in Digimon style.

To celebrate the crossover, a special event is planned for the official AFK Journey X account. Fans can join by sharing their favorite moment from the crossover. Participants will have a chance to win Diamonds through a prize draw.
