channel reveals "10 Of The Rarest Scenes In Baldur's Gate 3," many of which cover obscure endings for individual characters.

Not many numbers are shared, and it's unclear how these may have been ranked hierarchically, but from the very first example, which sees Lae'zel use a sword to take her own life in her "saddest fate," we're in the double-digit range for folks who've actually seen these corner cases. "If you got this ending in-game, congrats, you're one of about 50," Wilson says of Lae'zel's demise.

On the niche case of Wulbren Bongle, a gnome first encountered in Act 2, Wilson says, "Have you ever failed a roll so spectacularly that someone would rather stay in Absolute jail? We have, and let me tell you, it stings."

The whole video is a gallery of the unlikely and improbable. For example, Githyanki hero "Orpheus may propose an alliance with your tentacled form," Wilson explains, with a little "help from frog-wife" Lae'zel in negotiations. Given how the Githyanki feel about Mind Flayers, this is no small feat.

Minthara and Astarion appear a few times. In one scene, Minthara offers a rare compliment, and in another, she takes your tentacled hand in hers to "take the sting out of not having your personal Elder Brain to command."

One rare scene sees Astarion smooched by Gale after the wizard's ascendance to arcane godhood. In the next, he's reduced to a forgotten zombie in the lair of Cazador, the vampire lord encountered at the climax of his personal quest, but as a vampire dreg cursed with immortality. Even Cazador finds it cruel of you to kill Astarion in Act 1. And really, how could you?
