whatever level you are. Try and complete other missions and generally gather better loot to tip the balance more in your favour before you take a swing. As well as that I'd recommend these tips:

1. Take the time to scope out the various areas you can fight him in, to see how much space there is and if there are any useful extras like teleports. That way you won't be fighting blind and can make a choice if he appears in a spot you like the look of.
2. Always play defensively and stay mobile. The main danger of the fight is that you do chip damage while the Berserker can kill you in three or four good hits. So keep dogging and don't let him connect.
3. Bring plenty of healing. The Berserker dishes out so much damage that you'll need lots of health and often.
4. Don't be afraid to run away for heals and anything else you want to do. Just don't cross the barrier.
5. You get one do over if you're lucky. Assuming you've not been killed already by a monster and someone else is still fighting you'll be able to resurrect once and this shouldn't reset the fight. Use it tactically as you'll come back at full health.
6. Bring help. Either as a team or get someone to join you in match. That will obviously help you inflict more damage but, more importantly, people can act as distractions to give each other space and time to heal and set up attacks.

(Image credit: Skystone Games) Rewards for defeated the Berserker vary, but will yield a range of Gyldenblod, and high (ish) value construction and forging materials and gear. It seems to be randomised, so while I got the rewards below, you'll get different things of a similar rarity.

• 43 Gyldenblod
• Two unidentified rewards that resolved into a Flawless Runestone epic forging material and a Blessing Sachet legendary construction material
• Agate forging material
• Veteran Armor

Once thing that's worth noting is that this might be a shared a shared pool. I took on the Berserker with random player that joined in the fight and they took some of that prize pool before I could claim it.
