started rolling out the XBOX app to millions of VIDAA OS-powered Smart TVs from 2024-2026, including supported Hisense models. With a compatible TV and controller, this gives fans another way to enjoy your favorite games with Xbox.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can stream hundreds of games directly to their TVs (game library varies over time, by region, device, and Game Pass plan). Whether you’re exploring Forza Horizon 6, Halo: Campaign Evolved, or discovering a new favorite, your progress moves with you, so it’s easy to pick up and play across devices. XBOX Game Pass subscribers can also stream supported games they already own, even outside the Game Pass catalog.

Xbox CEO Asha Sharma said this means the Xbox app now reaches more than 150 million people via connected TVs. With this Xbox cloud gaming solution, there is no additional console required in addition to a consumer’s existing connected TV. To use the Xbox app, players will need to have a subscription to Xbox Game Pass. Xbox has begun testing an ad-supported version of Xbox Cloud Gaming, but it is limited only two Xbox Insiders. Overall, this is a pretty good solution for players who can’t afford new machines, especially at a time of rising memory chip prices due to heavy AI demand.

This summer we've expanded XBOX streaming to more than 150 million TVs and devices around the world because not everyone can afford dedicated gaming hardware. Today we're adding millions more through VIDAA OS and Hisense, so more people can play on the hardware they already own.

3. Sign into or create your Xbox account.
4. Connect a compatible Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller. Controllers like the XBOX Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, PlayStation DualSense, or PlayStation DualShock 4 controller are all compatible.
5. Choose a game and start playing!
