In Sponge Break, players and up to three friends take on the role of sponges who’ve recently found themselves upstream without a paddle. Armed with nothing more than a trusty plunger-hook, a bit of wishful thinking, and proximity chat, the goal of the game is simple: navigate a very fragile raft down the world’s most dangerous rapids. (

Each sponge team must work together to keep their makeshift barge afloat while using physics and various consumable items to solve challenging puzzles, dodge environmental hazards, and avoid getting attacked by all sorts of wildlife

The game features drop-in co-op, full solo support, proximity voice chat with sponges that lip-sync to players’ voices and physics-driven raft traversal where one mistake can flip the raft, scattering gear, dealing damage and quickly ending the team’s escape.
