, a new high-magic expansion for players and Dungeon Masters. The expansion releases on September 15.

Arcana Unleashed is built around spellcasting, offering new options for powerful magic-users along with evolving magic items, arcane factions and world-altering magical threats for campaigns. The core book serves as a guide for players and DMs looking to build campaigns around high-level spellcasters.

For a fuller high-magic package, D&D is also offering an Arcana Unleashed Ultimate Bundle, which combines the core book with two additional products in both digital and physical formats: Arcana Unleashed: Deadfall, a wizard-war adventure that sends high-level heroes into the fractured magocracy of Thay to stop the lich Szass Tam, and the Arcana Unleashed Magical Map Pack, a set of 10 illustrated tactical maps designed for spellcasting duels and faction conflict, complete with monster tokens, magical constructs, traps and arcane terrain pieces.

The new campaign is set in the Forgotten Realms and inspired by the magic within Arcana Unleashed, with player characters cast as magical agents of the Order of the Ninth Quill navigating the Anauroch Desert, a wasteland still radiating catastrophic magic from Netheril’s fall. The season pits players against the Bringers of the Cosmic Dawn, who want to tear down a failing magical barrier, and the Red Wizards of Thay, who are maneuvering to seize the arcane power trapped behind it, tying the show directly into the Thay setting featured in the new Deadfall adventure.

The cast returning for Campaign 2 includes Jasmine Bhullar (DesiQuest, Dimension 20) as Dungeon Master, alongside Devora Wilde (Baldur’s Gate 3), Neil Newbon (Baldur’s Gate 3), Christian Navarro (13 Reasons Why, Forgotten Realms: Tears of Selune), and Mayanna Berrin (Dispatch, The Dungeon Run).

Dungeon Masters debuted in April with a first campaign, “Ashes of the ****** Rose,” set in Ravenloft and tied to the Ravenloft: The Horrors Within sourcebook. Wizards of the Coast built the series around the same appeal that made fan-run shows like Critical Role and Dimension 20 popular, but with an added hook: episodes feature official, unreleased D&D content, letting viewers see new subclasses, monsters and lore before the corresponding books hit shelves. Each week, D&D Beyond also releases a Play-Along Pack tied to that episode, giving fans at home ready-to-run encounters and quickplay maps based on what just aired.
