If you want to complete your full Sprite collection, there are quite a lot of these small but powerful creatures you need to find around the Fortnite island. One of the many Sprites you’ll have to get is the Aura Sprite.

Every Sprite is unique, and many of them have unique methods of acquisition, so tracking them all down can be quite tough. If you’re unsure what needs to be done to get this one, here’s how to find the Aura Sprite in

How to get the Aura Sprite in Fortnite

Screenshot by Destructoid Similar to the vast majority of other Sprites, the Aura Spite is a random loot drop item, which means there’s no special way to unlock it. Instead, you have to loot all around the island and hope luck is on your side.

You can find the Aura Sprite using any type of looting method. This includes regular chests,

, floor loot, golden fishing spots,

, and any other similar methods of acquisition you might think of.

Although any of these methods work for finding an Aura Sprite, by far the best ones are Sprite Chests and golden fishing spots. You’re guaranteed to get at least one Sprite from every Sprite Chest you open, so your chances of finding an Aura Sprite are the best in this scenario. Vaults are a great place to find and open Sprite Chests, as there are usually at least two in each one.

Golden fishing spots are a great option, too. They drop a wide variety of different loot, though, and sometimes the Sprites you find tend to be a bit rarer than the base ones, so it’s not the overall best option for unlocking the Aura Sprite. Still, you should always stop to fish in them whenever you do spot one, as they’re sure to grant some kind of powerful loot.

Screenshot by Destructoid Unfortunately, the Aura Sprite doesn’t have a fixed, guaranteed spawn location anywhere around the Fortnite island. This means all you can do is try to loot around as much as possible in each round to try and find it, and that luck plays a large role in how easy or hard it is to acquire.

What does the Aura Sprite do in Fortnite?

The Aura Sprite grants you a Shock Rock charge after you’ve dealt a certain amount of damage. The amount of damage you need to dish out to trigger this effect varies depending on how much you’ve leveled up this Sprite. The higher its level is, the less damage you need, thus allowing you to activate it more frequently.

The Shock Rock charge you earn is the same as the one you can get from consuming Shock Rocks. This effect grants you three jumping buffs, allowing you to traverse around more quickly for a short duration.
