Specialists are some of the most helpful and oftentimes overlooked allies you can recruit in Fortnite. Quite a few missions you’ll encounter also specifically ask you to team up with them, which means you’ll need to know where they can be found.

All NPCs, including specialists you can hire, change, and move around the island each season. This can make tracking them down rather tricky, so if you’re unsure where to look, here are all specialist locations in

Screenshot by Destructoid To complete the hire a specialist in different matches mission, you need to hire one of the four available specialists as an ally across the course of four different matches. You can hire the same character every time, or mix it up and test out the unique skills each one possesses.

It costs 350 gold bars to hire each specialist, and this currency doesn’t carry over from round to round, so the first step in this process is looting around the island to earn enough. Once you’ve got the gold bars you need, make your way to whichever one of the four NPCs you want to recruit. Generally, it’s best to just go for the specialist who’s closest to you, but it’s entirely up to your discretion.

Upon locating any of the four available allies, interact with them and select the “Recruit” option to pay the fee and hire them to fight at your side. As soon as you select this option. you’ll officially check off one piece of this quest. Repeat this process three more times across different matches to get it done.
