[STEAM] First Marvel Rivals leaks in quite some time tease more X-Men, and even Dr. Doom

Jubilee and The Hood are the next two heroes coming to Marvel Rivals, according to new reports from data miners.

When Marvel Rivals launched in December 2024, and even in the months before that, data miners got a hold of information regarding a whole bunch of heroes in the works. That list included several that have since come to the game, like Deadpool, Elsa Bloodstone, and others. Even more have still yet to launch, like Professor X.

But this new set is more specific, and cites which heroes are coming and when, all over the next few months, starting with season nine when it begins one month from today on July 10. And it’s gonna be a hot summer at Xavier’s Institute for Gifted Youngsters.

Jubilee will reportedly continue the X-Men trend, joining the roster as a Strategist, while The Hood will be a Vanguard after being teased in the lore several times over the past few seasons. But that’s not all the leakers are saying.

According to reliable datamining collective @X0X_LEAK, season 10’s heroes will be another X-Men member (and my personal favorite) Nightcrawler, and powerful villain Gorr the God Butcher, made famous by Christian Bale’s portrayal in the MCU movie Thor: Love and Thunder.

Not to be outdone, season 11 may be the biggest yet when it comes some time in November: Doctor Doom himself is currently set to join the roster in that campaign, which seems plausible since it would coincide with the Avengers: Doomsday movie launching in December.

It’s unclear how these data mines are happening after NetEase stemmed the tide for a year or longer, but @X0X_LEAK warns that these are the current plans it knows of, and those could change. But for now, get ready to basically be able to field an entire battlefield of X-Men, and then brace for whoever is joining the fight alongside Doctor Doom this winter.
