[STEAM] Rainbow Six Siege Operation System Override release countdown: Exact date and time

Operation System Override is coming soon to Rainbow Six Siege, and we can enjoy plenty of new content in the second season of Year 11. As already announced, we will have a major rework for Dokkaebi, a new map, and more waiting for us.

But first, let’s find out when the new season and all the upcoming content go live.

Operation System Override goes live worldwide on Tuesday, June 2. The date was already predicted by many when Ubisoft revealed the upcoming content back in the middle of May. The following countdown will expire once the new season goes live.

What to expect from Rainbow Six Siege Operation System Override

Year 11 Season 2 might not have any new operators like the previous one, but it has many exciting things. For starters, Dokkaebi should feel like a new operator after her rework. Ranked 3.0 is also coming in the new season, and it removes some of the unpopular features we have had in Ranked 2.0.

We will also get to pick the new XK23 Assault Rifle and take it on a ride across the Calypso Casino map. The map, heavily inspired by an older Rainbow Six title, will offer plenty of tactical challenges to both teams involved.

Mid-season also brings mouse and keyboard controls for console players, which will be brilliant if you’re on a PlayStation or Xbox device. Some older maps will be getting a rework, and we will also have a new battle pass with plenty of shiny items to unlock. For now, we have to wait for about 18 hours to enjoy the new season.
