demo, allowing you to try its Game of the Year contender for free.

Arriving three months after Resident Evil Requiem's February debut, this trial version is available to download now on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and on PlayStation 5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S.

"The demo version allows you to play part of the game's early stages," Capcom said today in a statement. "Please note that save data from the demo version cannot be transferred to the full version of the game."

Fans who have already downloaded the demo report that it features Grace Ashcroft's initial exploration of the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center (after she wakes hanging upside down), as well as a brief section as Leon (until he passes the Requiem gun to Grace). This should give players a decent sense of both characters, and allow you to meet one of the game's most memorable monsters.
