[STEAM] FC 26 version 1.6.0 early patch notes: Bruiser nerf, Token system, and more

Version 1.6.0 is coming soon to FC 26 on all platforms, and we can expect some massive changes. This will be the biggest patch we have had in the past two months, and there’s a lot to go through.

While we still await the full patch notes as of writing, here’s a summary of all the major changes that have been previously teased and announced by EA Sports.

I expect EA Sports to announce the complete patch notes later today, on May 27. However, we can expect these key changes once the title update is live.

• Bruiser nerf: Bruiser has been a ‘broken’ playstyle to the extent that you can simply spam it to win the ball back. As announced by EA Sports, the playstyle will be given a nerf. While you can still shoulder-charge and win the ball, skillful dribblers and physically robust attackers will have the ability to sustain the incoming tackle and retain the ball.
• Token system: EA Sports is finally adding a system that rewards you for playing more games. You’ll earn tokens from playing Ultimate Team mode and then redeem them for different rewards.
• Evolution reset: The new patch should allow us to reset a complete evolution, and offer more chances to repeat them.
• Boost to dribbling: Players with high dribbling skill will be able to move with the ball better than before.
• Special Interception animations: Cards with 90+ Interception stat value will have new animations when your player traps the ball.

Overall, I am really excited to test out these changes once the patch is live. The patch should also have plenty of minor changes that remain a secret for now. Once the complete patch notes are out, I will add them to this guide.
