One of Disney Dreamlight Valley’s biggest updates of 2026 is quickly approaching, bringing with it some exciting new faces from the film Hercules. If you’re excited to explore this one, you may be curious when it’s releasing and what to expect from it.

also confirmed that this update will debut this summer, and we see a new update every other month, so everything lines up for it to release on this day.

There’s also a slight chance the update may instead be released on June 10. Prior to the last few updates, we generally had about a week between each one. This format seems to have been changed, though, so June 3 is far more likely, especially since the official DDV social media pages have already started teasing it, which they only do a couple of weeks before release.

• Two new characters – Confirmed to be Hercules himself and his trusty mentor Philoctetes, better known as Phil, both from the film Hercules.
• A new Realm – The world of Hercules is arriving in this update, offering a magical new land of myths and legends to explore as you work on recruiting the latest duo to join the valley.
• A fresh Star Path event – A new Star Path packed with duties you can complete to claim epic prizes will release in this update. It seems to feature plenty of Hercules-themed items, based on the

• Other additions – Some other smaller features have been teased, too, like more decorating possibilities, and a potential level cap increase from 40 to 50.

Is Meg coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Meg isn’t one of the two characters featured in the Hercules update, so we won’t be seeing her in the valley anytime soon. Based on past update patterns, though, it seems like there’s a strong chance she may be featured in a future DLC, perhaps even in one launching before the end of 2026, if DDV sticks to their regular content release patterns and has an expansion lined up for the back half of the year.

Although Meg isn’t in the free, base game Hercules-focused update, we’ll likely still see her eventually. Hades is also from Hercules and was the first member of this film to join the valley. He’s a DLC exclusive character you can only recruit if you have The Storybook Vale. The devs have broken up characters from the same film across free updates and paid expansions before, like the cast of Tangled, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and more, so this is probably what’s happening with Meg this time around, too.
